Oh God! Natural light!
Only for mass revivals.
However, evil people are reincarnated so I don't know if the movie will address that.
Aaaaanyway it's a valid question to ask how Freeza will be relevant even when the author can come up with any boost they want because the capability to do so doesn't necessarily justify it. There have been multiple lazy power ups before but that doesn't make it okay to keep relying on it.
well, they can be, but I imagine that Freeza would have quite a bit of time in Hell ahead of him before that happnned. Uub reincarnating so quickly was sort of a favor to Goku from King Yemma.
I have a message from another time...Unless it was like the TFS Budokai 3 LP, in which case Krillin destroys Freeza.
Me and my friend's collaborative webcomic: Forged Men@Rob: Krillin was stronger than Freeza during the Cell saga, wasn't he? Or was that post-Buu arc?
I've got new mythological machinery, and very handsome supernatural scenery. Goodfae: a mafia web serialThese two moments of DBcember have made me realize something: the Buu arc didn't totally suck. Really, the only problem I now have with it was the amount of time it wasted on certain stuff with Goku, Goten, Trunks, and to a lesser extent, Gohan's training.
So instead, what I might do if it were me:
*I wouldn't send the kid saiyans off to fight Buu. Instead, I'd have (don't shoot me for this) had Goku teach Tien and Yamcha the fusion, them having been keeping up with their training, so that they're above Frieza level at least. That way, Super Saiyan power that is stronger than Frieza isn't treated as a "child's plaything". The kids could still go super, and maybe even learn fusion at some point (they could just be prodigies and learn it quickly), but they'd be nowhere near as powerful as a Super Saiyan 3 Goku.
- Tiencha would stall Buu in Gotenks' place, while Gohan trained up.
- Everything else would proceed as was, only with Gohan and Vegeta stalling Buu as Hercule, coming clean about the Cell thing with Gohan to the public, persuades them to aid the spirit bomb. That way Hercule gets completed character development, and Vegeta doesn't have to stall alone. Plus, when do we ever see Gohan and Vegeta working together anymore?
- Oh, and Dabura gets taught how to be good in Otherworld by 16. Because feels. I enjoyed seeing Love Freak Dabura.
Kuririn was never said to be stronger than Freeza, and likely never became stronger than Freeza. If you're one to accept Battle of Gods, then base Goku was said not to have surpassed Freeza, so Kuririn definitely wouldn't.
I don't see how that prevents Super Saiyan being a child's plaything if Goten and Trunks are still Super Saiyans. And I will vehemently disagree that that's a bad thing in the first place, it's a perfect throw back to the earlier parts of the series with Goku and Kuririn doing the same. Also there's only a 1 year difference between Gohan who beat Cell and Trunks. Being the strongest person in the entire universe is a child's plaything at that point.
Ten and Yamcha being above Freeza would make them better than the Saiyans are, and would also be extremely ridiculous power inflation. I know Freeza's a joke but already but that doesn't need to be exaggerated further. It'd also make fusion way more broken if Ten and Yamcha were made relevant for it, furthermore they've never been equal in power.
The whole Boo arc spans about 3 days so Gohan having his power unlocked is a better way to justify his strength increase than doing some training. Yes it's a "free" power up but there's pretty much no way to earn a power up in a few days even if you throw some punches in the air or chase a cat around a tower. Plus hidden power was always Gohan's thing.
Biggest problem with the Boo arc for me is that everything turns to shit once potara is introduced to get Goku back into the MC slot. 90% of the arcs problems would be removed if there wasn't a need to make Goku the protagonist again, the other problem is irresponsible things Goku and Vegeta did earlier - deliberately falling for the Majin charm, holding back Super Saiyan 3. Make Vegeta be genuinely controlled and either cut Goku's SS3 from that point of the story or at least give him a better reason not to use it and suddenly they're not totally negligent.
Uh no he can't. He's never shown at anywhere near 18's level and in fact stopped training after the Android arc. She forces him to train for her for the Budokai but that doesn't mean he can keep up with her - Goten and Trunks were able to fight evenly with her in their base forms as well, it just means she doesn't go all out against weaker opponents. The month training from her is not going to take him from "weaker than Android arc base Saiyans" to "on par with fucking Androids".
Furthermore, the only Super Saiyan 18 could beat are the ones from the early Android arc, and even then it wouldn't be a stomp (well, except for Trunks probably). Vegeta was close enough to her that her infinite energy was actually relevant to why she won that fight, she started kicking his ass when his power dropped. The Super Saiyans after their Room of Spirit and Time training would absolutely decimate her - they're much stronger than Piccolo, who powered up a lot from his own Room training, and who before that was equal to 18 who was stronger than 18. Even the Boo arc kids are stronger than 18, Super Saiyan Trunks holds back to avoid killing her and that still rattles her without knowing he's holding back.
Super Saiyan is a multiplier. To get stronger as a Super Saiyan, you need to get stronger in your base as well, and boy does Goku manage that throughout the Android arc. There's a constant leap-frogging in strength happening while he's out of commission but after coming out of the Room half his power awes everyone. On top of the ridiculous gains he made he was already laughably ahead of the humans to begin with, thanks to incredible Freeza arc bloat.
On top of that, Kuririn said that if the kids didn't enter the tournament, he had better odds. That was after the no Super Saiyan rule was introduced, he admitted his inferiority to the base kids.

How so? Gohan was able to kill Frieza with one punch in his base form, remember?
Plus, if Yamcha can take on Olibu and Gorilla at the same time, I don't think it's too outlandish to suggest that he could take on Frieza.

No beer?! But if there's no beer, then there's no beef or beans!

Maybe they give him a transformation like Cooler had. Or use the multiple wishes to give him immortality like Garlic Jr.
