To be fair, the way the level up screen is organized would very easily give one the wrong impression. Ki is right under attack, and attack is self-explanatory. Someone playing blind would naturally assume Ki meant boosting the power of Ki blasts. "Arts" isn't the most straightforward way to say it means special attacks. In one of the videos, Lani even asks what Arts are and none of them have a clue. Plus, it's toward the bottom of the list, so most people wouldn't expect it to be very important.

Kinda wish they had Masako.

Masako is in England, isn't he?
Also, man, Taka makes for some cringeworthy play.
My various fanfics. It'd be pretty funny to see Goku play a role playing game, especially one with decisions so he can tons of off decisions (or good decisions for stupid reasons). Or even an RPG with lots of railroading - there are tons of moments in the RP Gs I've played that'd be hysterical with Goku ignoring the story as is unfolds and just diving into situations with a "I want to fight the strong guy!" mentality.

...Funny thing is, I never knew that those teleport counters couldn't be finishing blows.
I mean, aside from if you're knocked into part of the stage. Which happened to Kaiser a few times.
If it wasn't for the fact that he was putting everything into ki, I'd have suggested that Kaiser grind some more experience against a battle point or something. But putting everything into Ki is. I mean, I can understand putting everything into Attack, or Arts, or Health. Or even Guard. Depending on your play style. But ki is really better as a supplemental stat.
It seemed like the Ki Blast Cannons and Dodonpas were still using their usual amounts of ki though. two bars and one bar. So either what ki actually boosts is how fast you recover ki, or it mostly affects ki usage of your basic ki blast. Which I don't think is useless, but. It wasn't the best with Kaiser's strategy. Or, well, lack thereof.
Also, goddammit Kaiser, why couldn't you DODGE!
Like, there were several points, like when Buu used the Victory Cannon and Ill Ball Attack where I think side-stepping would have helped.
It might also help if any of them did the Tutorial. Like, offscreen, preferably.
...Also, kinda wish they knew about the fact that the story modes could be played multiple times. Because you can actually replay Krillin's story and find frog!Ginyu, and after beating Frieza, get to the Android/Cell saga. But it only does that on the second playthrough. First time you always end at Final Form Frieza.
