Remembering he has it.
I really wish more had been done with the Destructo disc. Hell, I wish more had been done to explain how it even works. Because on rewatching this series, a LOT of the tension falls apart when you realize one of the characters has an unblockable attack that can cut through ANYTHING.
My various fanfics. How and when did he come up with it? Does it work against him?
It's odd to think that Krillin could've beaten Frieza and saved everyone a lot of trouble. "Solar Flare! Destructo Disc!" But no, as the two Kai Abridged episodes have shown, only the villains are allowed to hurt people with it.

It would have taken a while to charge and Frieza would have survived being cut in half anyway.
"It's liberating, realizing you never need to be competent." — UltimatepheerI'm very fond of this line from Goku. To me it encompasses so much about him.
"You know, I learned something today. In the end, Freeza was Cooler. But Cooler, was Freeza."
A corpse should be left well enough alone...I just realized Freeza really does get the short end of being cut into pieces a lot (at least three times, unless I'm forgetting something from that one movie he showed up in (I think he just got punched and exploded into powder) and GT (blech, though I'll admit the Freeza/Cell evil bffs bit was one of the few things I liked about it)).
It's a shame Abridged didn't make that into a running gag or something. It even escalates every time.

I know the conversation has moved on a bit since I last posted about favorite quotes, but I just wanted to say that I can't believe I forgot Frieza's "When you see Vegeta, tell him I said: like a bitch" line, or, even better:
Frieza: Now that we're done here, it's time to send you running home to mommy.
Vegeta: My mother's dead.
Frieza: I know.
| Wandering, but not lost. | If people bring so much courage to this world...◊ |It's probably just me, but I really can't bring myself to watch Season 1 anymore.
"It's liberating, realizing you never need to be competent." — UltimatepheerSeason one does kinda pale to the awesomeness that is the Namek saga, but I can still watch it.
It is still damn hilarious, and Nappa. That is all.
Though...I feel sorry for Vegetanumbersiforget. When he left TFS, all the voices he covered were replaced by ones, like
A thousand times better.
"Curry killed the pussy hoping that I could kill the hate in you" - Curry, D. "TABOO | TA13OO." TA13OO, PH, 2018
Yeah, Vegeta####'s voices were my main problem with it.
I think of Episode 5 as the point when the show became it's own thing. Episodes 1 to 3 are more in line with other abridged series, in terms of things like canonically kind characters like Goku being snarky, fourth-wall breaking and cameos from the likes of M Night Shyamalan and that guy from Harvey Birdman. Episode 4 is a midway point between the two styles. The humour is more in line with the rest of the series, but the entire episode is a parody of something else, in this case Metal Gear Solid, which is something Team Four Star haven't really done since.
Cortex should take a 12-step plan off a 10-step pier

Oh, another favourite line - it's neither dramatic or comedic, but...
"Wait, Yamcha? You're my friend"
