Minato and Goku at the top of a "most wanted dad" poll.
I'm pretty sure Austin Powers has a song
for this.
Well, the rest of the list can't possibly be-
Is it too late to vote for Genma Saotome? Because we're clearly not giving any fucks.
To be fair, the AI child was probably one of the better parts of SAO initially.
I say initially because of the stupid second story arc degrading her character.
Long live Cinematech. FC:0259-0435-4987I'm guessing everyone voted for Minato because they wanted the power of a Legendary Super Jinchuriki.
I'm calling it — the poll was flooded by Akatsuki members.

"It's liberating, realizing you never need to be competent." — UltimatepheerMight as well throw Gendo Ikari in there while you're at it.

Hohenheim.
And that's pushing it, since he left them alone for years even after their mother's death. The Call I suppose.

Mikihisa Asakura is a pretty cool guy, even if he's off on work-related mountain climbing a lot.

To be fair, he knew Tenchi would have a ridiculously long lifespan and be able to take care of himself and others, so... why wouldn't he?
Isshin Kurosaki has seems like a pretty decent father. I mean, he's actually around most of the time, which is a set up on from most anime dads and spends a good portion of his screen-time joking around with his kids.

Ash Ketchum's dad's pretty supportive, give or take a setting where you send out ageless ten year olds to battle monsters for all eternity.
I mean, he gave him that poke and he's been around, as much as Ash's around, to give sagely advise. On Pokemon, mostly sure, but Professor Oak is a Pokemon Professor. He talks about what he knows.

I think it was the same guy.
