Oh fuck. Really? Well, I just came out of the bathroom, so I may as well as watch it.

Edit: Ooooooh crap.

On the bright side: Kami and Nai talking with Piccolo is awesome.

Once again DBZ Abridged beats the source material in characterization.

Never trust anyone who uses "degenerate" as an insult.

These were some of my favorite episodes of the source material, I can see the abridged is going to live up to that.

On a lighter less Cell note, I loved Gohan's apprehension to being told his future self is a lot like Goku and his childlike wonderment at the prospect of solving mysteries.

And back to Cell, that intro was chilling in an awesome way.

[up][up][up]Yeah, you really don't see Gohan being happy and free to act his age all that much. It was a nice touch.

Gohan being a kid for once is really nice to see, especially given that this arc ends with him pretty much losing all innocence whatsoever.

Also, poor Trunks. You can just tell from his demeanor how much going to the past has near disillusioned him. Also, him sticking his hand into Cell's mold was hilarious.

As for Cell himself. Oh, man... I can't wait for the next episode. My favorite DBZ villain, and they're really ramping up the creepiness too. Something about that scene makes me think they're going to play the "make you a part of me" bit to an even more terrifying extreme.

Gohan was great but is in store for an epic Break the Cutie, Nail remains one of my favorite characters, the dynamic between the three Namekians is fantastic, and...

Wow. Cell was actually creepy.

I wonder what it says about the original when some people on the internet give it better characterization in a shorter amount of time.

And given how much this series loves to point out how much of a horrible parent Goku is, Gohan going Super Saiyan 2 will probably qualify as a Tear Jerker in itself.

Dragon Ball Z sadly isn't a masterpiece of character depth and development. The character development is pretty basic outside of Gohan who goes from spoilt sheltered child to much braver and gradually gets more badass. But for a series that started in the 80s and ended in the mid 90s, I'd say it's pretty good.

So, any of you having problems with their website? A lot of people in the comments were complaining about the video buffering forever or not being able to watch on their phone. (Why would you want to watch on your phone?)

Personally, I haven't had any of these problems.

I had to watch on my iPad and the quality degraded a bit.

I had serious problems, but that might've been because of my connection.

[down]I had that same problem. I'm having other loading problems elsewhere, but I'm glad to know that one wasn't just me.

The video kept stopping for me repeatedly on higher resolutions - not as in buffering, but the video itself literally freezing and skipping ahead while the sound continued just fine. It wasn't too much of a problem, though, and at the time I just blamed my computer/Flash.

That's happened to me a few times but only for like a few seconds and never really ruined the viewing experience.

Could it have just been traffic to the site with the new episode coming up? I used to have that problem when trying to watch a new episode of Red VS Blue.

I like to think Krillin also never actually knew her name. Just called her eighteen.
