So what is everyone's favorite TFS movie?
I think it's because the movie is just so unforgivably bad in reality that Lord Slug Abridged is my favorite.
Now that I've defeated King Piccolo, I can wish back Chaozu, Master Roshi and Krillin.
WHAT!
Cooler's Revenge is my favorite Abridged movie so far. I love TFS's portrayal of Cooler, largely because of how downright sociable he was with Goku while trying to kill him. Frieza was a classy villain, and his brother was even moreso. Both characters also knew how to be downright terrifying when they wanted to be, while still keeping the funny.

My Tumblr. Currently side-by-side liveblogging Digimon Adventure, sub vs dub.I liked the terrifying drill sergeant Popo gag. Because, really, one doesn't come up with the "You all get killed on Planet Vegeta" training without being a little sadistic. And at the time, the guys he was training were legitimately weak enough to make the terror funny instead of confusing to the story.
I don't much like the Popo gags that came after that, though.
I have a message from another time...It does sorta raise the question of why he didn't just pop down and sort of the conflict in the King Piccolo arc, but it's definitely canonical, unless I'm getting the order of things mixed up in my head.
Because I'm pretty sure I remember Popo running circles around Goku after he beat King Piccolo.
Goku asks that very question (about God though, not Popo) and Popo basically tells him to mind his own business. It's implied by the 23rd Budokai that they just couldn't see a way to stop him without killing him, though I'd still disagree with God's choice to leave it with the mortals who don't even know they shouldn't kill Daimao.
Personally I don't believe Popo actually is stronger than Goku at that point of the story, as his dialogue suggests the difference is in skill rather than power.

Yet he outright calls Goku disappointing and "weak". He also fucking swallowed Goku's Kamehameha. He should definitely be stronger. It doesn't have to be by TOO much, though, as he also has ki sensing on his side to dominate.
Kami literally KO'd Goku with one finger, so he should also be able to stop King Piccolo. No idea why he didn't.

TFS Garlic Jr. has some of my favorite henchmen of the whole series (though the Ginyu force still comes first), at least in the redone version of Dead Zone. Also, Garlic's reactions to stuff are hilarious (the scene where he finds out his henchmen stole Gohan is one of my favorites in the series). So... I guess Dead Zone redone is my favorite movie so far.
I can't wait for Bio Broly, the silly premise combined with the fact that Krillin and 18 are among the major characters should make it really hilarious.

x5 Kamehameha swallowing is filler, he doesn't do anything nearly as outlandish in manga and when Goku gets serious he dodges instead of countering. Calling Goku 'weak' is very clearly not about his strength:
And he also tells Goku he can't beat Popo with "just power". These don't really make sense if Popo's just stronger than him and beating him up.

Like TFS has never edited footage before.
