Frieza had some wide variety of powers yeah, including telekinesis, that energy pinball thing, and that 'I am making a new canyon on this planet' wave
some might say he improved Krillins destructo disc too much though, heh
also Frieza's deathbeam must be special, its one of the few abilities Cell uses in the original manga, besides Solar Flare and Kamehameha

i remember an old Journey to the West cartoon.or anime.its mostly the same anyway.
Sun Wukong wore some pretty nice clothes on the journey to the indias.also covered the dragon randomly turning into a horse and then a girl to take care of someone who imprisoned Tripitaka.

So, question for anyone but probably Saiga, does Cell have everyone's memories? Was it ever explained why giving him everyone's DNA allows him to use their techniques? Learned skills aren't hereditary.
Also, more on the hypothetical side, if having Goku and Vegeta's DNA allowed Cell to receive a zenkai power boost, does that mean he can become a Super Saiyan too? What about an oozaru?

My Tumblr. Currently side-by-side liveblogging Digimon Adventure, sub vs dub. That doesn't mean he can't oozaru. He might just turn into Godzilla instead of King Kong.

I suppose that's pretty good. Also, his name's history is pretty funny.
I think the yellow aura of Super Perfect Cell is as close as it gets to Super Saiyan Cell.
My various fanfics.

As for the Destructo Disc: I love it for the same reason I love Frieza's Death Ray, Tien's Dodon Ray, and Piccolo's
MasasansopapapakaSpecial Beam Cannon; it's the physics of it.Most of the attacks we see throughout the show hinge on punishing blows that sledgehammer the target into submission. Large beam attacks are basically giant waves of pure force, crushing the target by the force of their power. That's cool and all, but that takes a lot of energy to perform, and much of it is wasted because an attack with a surface area larger than the target's body only hits the target with a portion of its power. If Goku fires a Kamehameha at Cell that completely and utterly engulfs him, a lot of his energy is being wasted in the parts of the beam that aren't colliding with Cell.
By contrast, Krillin's Destructo Disc is a sharp edged attack that uses its velocity to cut through targets rather than trying to hammer them. This allows it to be lethal against enemies even as powerful as Nappa and later Frieza, characters who completely and absolutely outclass him statwise, because it take MUCH LESS force to press a sharpened edge through an object than it does to pound that object into dust. Krillin doesn't have to be even close to Frieza's power in order to run a bladed edge through his neck.
The Death Ray and Dodon Ray, similarly, are immensely powerful due to their size. Rather than waste huge amounts of energy trying to crush your body into dust with a giant body-sized round wave of energy, Frieza opts instead to pierce your body by compressing the energy into a smaller area. Like the Destructo Disc, a smaller surface area makes it easier for the attack to penetrate, with no wasted energy. Where large beam attacks are giant sledgehammers, Frieza is effectively using his energy as a bullet. Less energy to achieve the same effect - your death - means conservation of the energy he does use, which also has a side benefit of improving longevity. A fighter could theoretically get a LOT more mileage out of his energy shooting Death Rays than Kamehamehas.
Piccolo also demonstrates this with his Special Beam Cannon, that is basically a drill bit attached to the abovementioned bullet, giving him enough force in a compressed area to punch through Raditz AND Goku, despite the former being twice as powerful as he was.
As an aside, Frieza's use of attacks like the Death Ray and his own version of the Destructo Disc, coupled with creative uses of his energy like his volleyball attack on Goku, make him my absolute favorite character in the franchise to watch fight. He's not just absurdly powerful, he actually wields that power with more skill and intelligence than most characters in the Dragon Ball franchise.
