"Oh wow, I almost thought I was a wish there."
I love how they sneak little gems in like that in the dialogue.
I love how dragon ball is basically forced to take things to its logical conclusion like that.
With the ridiculous power scaling, it wouldn't make sense for the Dragon Balls to be anything more than a useful tool instead of a mcguffin that drives the quest considering how easy they would be to gather... So that's exactly what happens.
With the ridiculous power scaling, every new threat would end up being inconceivably more powerful and leaving the last villain little more than Mook level... So that's exactly what happens.
With the ridiculous power scaling, a fight on the earth would eventually and inevitably cause the death of all those poor humans who are normal... So that's exactly what happens.
You are not alone. And that flying and travel speed is because of their insane level of power scaling.
"oh they can totally fly now" is something you really can't take back once you throw out there. And it cuts off a lot of possibly interesting situations.
You are not alone.Instant Transmission requires a person he knows to be at the location he's trying to reach.
My Tumblr. Currently side-by-side liveblogging Digimon Adventure, sub vs dub.He can sense someone's ki and be able to teleport there, but it's not necessary for someone to be at the place he wants to go to.
I think it works like Nightcrawler form X-Men does, it's more that he has to have a general idea where he's teleporting to, and hope he doesn't get stuck in something like a rock, or a plane that happens to be flying by.

I don't know. I feel like it's some sort of sacred duty for me to witness something that terrible just to truly understand how bad it is.
After all, I don't know for absolute sure it is bad... Maybe... MAYBE IT'S SECRETLY GOOD ON ITS OWN MERITS. -dramatic thunder followed by gales of laughter-
You are not alone.I saw it in what is perhaps the best context for it: an MST 3 K-style roast headed by Kyle Hebert.
I have a message from another time...Though that movie was terrible, I never understood the problem with Goku being white. Again, Goku isn't human, so technically an Asian actor would not have actually been better. And that's assume the world of Dragon Ball has the exact same concept of race as we do.

The worst thing about Evolution IMO was how it botched the King Piccolo saga, and completely wasted James Marsters as Demon King Piccolo. They put him in a lot of makeup to resemble Piccolo, but the problem was with how the character was written.
The movie tried to combine the first saga of DB with one of its best, later sagas, but satisfied no one with its approach. Like a lot of movies adapting games, anime, or whatever, it had no idea how to pick its battles. I also suspect that a lot of it had to do with a small budget. Maybe DB in live action would be better off if it was turned into a TV series than a movie. I like this idea better!
At least, like Silent Hill: Revelation 3D, it had the decency to go along at a quick clip, so if you hated it, at least it wouldn't last too long.
Do not obey in advance.![]()
It's about hollywood's rampant internalized racism more than it is about accuracy to the source material.
The whole "Goku is an alien!" thing really rings hollow for me, because I'd love to see the reactions of most of the apologists if Superman came down in Man Of Steel and was an Arab.
You are not alone.

pfft thats not even an official food in my catalogue
