Unfortunately, by the central conceit of the premise, it has to start with Raditz as he is the oldest resident of HFIL. Bardock dying a couple decades (or millenia depending how canonical the shark jumping BS was) earlier and HFIL not being a thing means he was either weaker than Raditz and thus was able to be stored in normal Hell or he went willingly into the soul scrubber that they didn't need to form HFIL yet.
I wonder if bad Broly is going to be in other HFIL. Considering that if we take Buu bits as canonical, then DBS also happened and with that the DBS Broly movie, especially with Goku and Vegeta wondering what happened to the good Broly, so in DBZA-verse, both of them existed. Wonder how that works out in their canon for both of them to exist.

Best part of the episode was probably meant to be Frieza finding out that Cell killed both Goku and Trunks and Another Trunks but I think it was Cell in adrenaline shock post self-destruct, and then wondering how he even knew how to teleport.
Turles is not gonna be a popular guy. But hey, he gets his mooks from the movies… which means we get all the mooks from all the movies. Ooh I hope Androids 13, 14 and 15 had souls in this version! And remember the orange guy with the wings?
So, when they rebuild Chez Goz and Mez, will it have a framed portrait of just the desk?
It was mentioned in their Broly movie commentary that they did record lines for a scene where Gokū visits Pilaf, but due to various reasons, they couldn't make it work. It's around 24:00-26:00, which also includes recording with rough animation of how the scene would have went.

I assure you, I'm perfectly trustable personIt's a similar joke to Vegeta's "Oh no, the voices are back" moment from Buu Bits, when Goku starts speaking to everyone telepathically. But much darker.

My Tumblr. Currently side-by-side liveblogging Digimon Adventure, sub vs dub. Finally realized a double meaning to Cell's reprise: Alongside the normal reprise of his Perfect song and the normal reprise for E, it's also a reprise of him killing Trunks (even though he was aiming for Tien)
