I loved this episode. Much funnier than the last few, and the season opener was atypical. Hopefully this continues.

I was personally more amused by Piccolo's driving song in the stinger.

Kinda disappointed that they didn't do more with the driving episode. Still the rest of the episode was pretty good.

Well this Goku still realizes that oral sex feels nice, so maybe Chi Chi has convinced Goku to have coitus without him being aware of the possibility of childbirth.

I feel gross. I need an adult.

Maybe Chi-Chi is just as clueless about it as he is?

I personally found Vegeta being Tien's Butt-Monkey to be the funniest part of the episode.

Vegeta/Bulma make more sense here, but it's still kinda creepy.

I really liked Goku just figuring out his hair goes yellow as a SSJ, and then that he is the one to blame for everyone calling them Androids.

Oh, yeah, that was nice. I kind of when 'oh yeah, there isn't any reason to assume he'd have noticed the hair colour change, is there?'

What I've never understood about Bulma/Vegeta supposedly making no sense is everyone bringing up his past. Why should that be relevant? It's not relevant to Vegeta living on Earth or being an ally. So why should it matter for a one-night stand?

@Wander That is complete horseshit.

Oh, that reminds me. I didn't get the 'smells like copper' line. Someone wanna explain it?

I assumed it referred to all the dead mooks (and Freeza) that Trunks butchered in that area.

Blood smells like iron, not copper. I mean, these are aliens, but they all have red human-like blood, so...

I think it's a Dr. Who reference.

Also yeah, Goku pre-emptively saving Yamcha's life was heartwarming. I expected it to be worse.

Internal bleeding, namely nasal bleeding, from thinking too hard, could make him smell metal.

Yeah, iron of course would've been more obvious, but I think that's what they were going for and give them (and Goku) a pass on specifics.

[up][up][up] Do you really think Goku's smart enough to tell the difference between the two smells since they're not edible materials? tongue

I'm sure they're edible to him.

But I think it's a reference that's gone over most of our heads.

Last time he was on earth he threatened to destroy. And he was responsible for the death of some of her friends.

I would very much say it's relevant.

You're completely missing my point. His past does not matter to anybody else, it doesn't stop anyone from letting him stay on Earth, or fighting alongside them, or any of that. So why should it stop Bulma from having a one-night stand with him? Why the Double Standard?

Death has less than no meaning in Dragonball. tongue

And it was Nappa who actually killed people, not Vegeta. If they can forgive Buu, Krillin's wife and Big Green, Vegeta being forgiven isn't too much of a stretch.
