But yeah..Ocean's dub of DBZ was not so hot either.

Lani can do an unfathomably good impression of Justin Cook and Chris Sabat (I still love you, YYH Abridged) which is obviously why he did Raditz and voices Vegeta. Whoever does Tien reminds me of the Ocean voice. (and Vegeta3986 took over as Raditz later I know but Lani was Raditz at first. The former clearly wanted to give props to Ocean Raditz)

I'm not sure if the others are trying to replicate any "official" performances though.

Well whoever does Roshi sounds like Funi Roshi now i think on it. I think it's Masako? He has Mc Farland's Roshi laugh down.

I am getting a massive case of deja vu because I just closed a discussion about Ocean and Funi and endless reruns only to end up in the same discussion. Odd.

I find Ocean Vegeta really amusing for some reason. The actor does make him sound pretty despicable, I'm not sure why, which works for early Vegeta, but come the Cell/Android saga I think the Funimation voice is more appropriate. Actually I think some countries also switched between the two dubs around that point?

What exactly were the points where reruns started getting shown over and over? From what I've heard every time Goku landed on Namek the series would start over again because the new episodes just weren't out yet. Anything else along those lines?

well over here in the netherlands the breaks for reruns were right before the androids appeared, right as Cell anounced his Cell Games idea to Trunks and just before Kid Buu appeared (that was an odd choice)

It seems that every arc ended in reruns from start to current.

I notice that Tien's arm is made from delicious taffy.

So this is a favorite moment of mine.

The best jokes are when you use the material that's already there.

I liked it as well.

Also, my browser froze at the 3.04 mark so it looked like Piccolo took a very long time to realize his mistake.

He was just standing there with the mouth-open smile stuck on his face xD

I hope they use Big Green 17. I never really cared about 17 til I saw the lulz in this version.

What in God's name did I just watch?

That has to be a Gag Dub, right?

Also, the Broly movie has to be full on Shakespearean.

Big Green Paragus is my favorite character in the franchise.

And no, this isn't a Gag Dub. I think it's the result of translating things into French and then English for the English Canadian version.

[up][up][up][up]I really love how absolutely nonchalant 17 is in that dub and I don't even mean that in a so bad it's good kind of way. Also, it's amazing how they managed to get Trunks powering up to sound exactly like he's really constipated and desperately trying to have a BM.

[up][up][up]There's no French involved, that's the British movie-only dub.

Is it just me, or does Big Green 18 sound disturbingly close to Jeremy Belpois/Aelita?

Now waiting for Trunks to shout "RETURN TO THE PAST NOW!"

[up][up] Nope, the Big Green dub was based off the French scripts by the AB Groupe.

Big Green Turles is pretty weird and nonchalant.

Also, there's also the Malaysian English dub, which is pretty much the same reasoning behind the Big Green one. And arguably even worse (Though not as funny).

So Goku is a Christian! I'm gonna have to watch the rest at home, lest I laugh my ass off.

Ya know, I love most of the voices but the best voice in any TFS matrial has to be whoever did the voice for Cooler in Cooler's Revenge Abridged.

That guy seriously sounded awesome as hell. I generally think the people who argue that TFS has better voices than the official cast are kinda crazy but that guy was just magnificent.
