Canon really isn't that hard a concept to wrap one's head around. It's the author's original story (Barring anything officially declared non-canon due to being a mistake or embarassment, but it's rare for an author to do that) and any supplemental material they have declared canon.
The movies, GT, and anime filler are not canon, even if they fit into the story without contradicting things. That isn't to say they're unrecognized, or that anyone pretends they don't exist. They're just side stories that will never be referenced in the main story (Obviously because it's done).
Right now, the only thing really open for debate is if Toriyama has declared Battle of the Gods canon, which I don't believe he has.

You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!Bardock is weird. Canon Immigrant, I guess.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!Thank you all for missing my point. The point was, so what? What does it matter how many people are on each side?
And Saya, that's right, he doesn't say it outright. Unlike what you said earlier. Saying he clearly considers it part of the story is pretty baseless.
And once again, he's not the main scriptwriter. He didn't invent Super Saiyan God and Hakaishin, but he redesigned them. The basic outline for the movie was already written before he came on board, we know this because we know he changes things (such as ditching SSG's cloak, turning Bills from being a cat into a lizard, removing the plot about Bills infecting people with evil, adding gags).
The Bible analogy is pretty spot-on.
"Usual"? He's done that in one movie. Once is not a pattern.

My Tumblr. Currently side-by-side liveblogging Digimon Adventure, sub vs dub.Return of Cooler doesn't have any continuity issues as far as I can tell, aside from relying on the existence of the first Cooler movie (Which itself cannot fit in the timeline).
And it isn't the only movie that can fit. Super Android 13, The Legendary Super Saiyan, Bojack Unbound, Broly: Second Coming, and Bio-Broly can all fit, I believe. Unless I've made a mistake. As can Wrath of the Dragon, since there's nothing after it for it to contradict anyway (Aside from the distant finale of Z, which it doesn't contradict anyway).

No one's arguing the pro side because there's no point to it. You'll say they're wrong, regardless, and the ensuing argument wouldn't even be fun.
