Especially since most of Buu is bad. Even when they were trying they said that it's really difficult to make good stuff out of garbage, which is why Bojack got cancelled. Buu is full of all kinds of filler garbage that would have been terrible episodes.
I'm serious, aside from Vegito, Goku going SSJ 3, and Goku vs Vegeta (and that one is debatable), what is good about Buu?

Based on what I have seen from the DBZA team, I have no confidence that anything they do will ever have anything like a regular release schedule. Making deadlines has never been their strong suit even in the best of times.
Which isn't a terrible thing, except when you couple it with a habit of making promises that you can't or won't keep.

I think we can all agree that it would have been better if they had been more honest to themselves (I don't think they intentionally deceived their fans) about them being burned out on DBZA since the warnings signs were clearly there. DBZA was their passion project (not to mention how important it is for them to attract fans who watch their other content later) so it is understandable that they really did not give up on it. Perhaps finishing episode 60 gave them the hope that they could still be able to do it, and in hindsight they wasted the perfect opportunity to pronounce the ending of DBZA.
And I'm pretty sure they already apologized for misleading people in the official announcement video.
Do not make them feel worse about having to cancel by saying "Fuck your feelings, I want more DBZA." and especially don't say "Well why don't you guys just get real jobs?"

Apologies are nice, but they have had a consistent pattern of missing deadlines, overpromising and under-delivering, and being generally misleading (intentionally or not) with their messaging for years. I would rather see evidence that they have changed that pattern than get an apology.

1.) Originally it was for some nebulous time in 2019. They missed that deadline, and also the one for Bojack.
2.) I don't know, what part of "if they just wasted 18 months, why should I trust that the next 18 will be well spent?" are you not getting?

Excuse you, yes, it is. Year after year, YouTube has become increasingly more dedicated to protecting copyright holders over content creators. Ten years ago, the Copyright Claim system didn't exist. The ability for copyright trolls to delete people's channels didn't exist. Content ID, the automated copyright troll, didn't exist.
Their livelihood is absolutely more jeopardized by Toei than it was when they began. See, that's the thing. Toei doesn't have to take them to court. Toei can just nuke their channel whenever they get uppity. That is the power that YouTube now provides copyright holders.
Oh, would you stop with the Rich White Guy Concern Trolling. Nobody's impressed by how much money you may or may not have. Slapping words like "investment" around doesn't make your arguments any stronger.
Again: you are not their boss. You don't have the authority to fire them. Their business is not about you.

My Tumblr. Currently side-by-side liveblogging Digimon Adventure, sub vs dub.![]()
Their business is about courting audience goodwill. They are doing a poor job of that.
The rest is just armchair quarterbacking, which I find fun and interesting. If you do not, you are welcome to excuse yourself.
And unless they have been disingenuous about not directly monetizing DBZA, their main channel being temporarily taken down is an inconvenience, not an existential threat to their ostensible moneymakers, the gaming channel, Twitch streams, and Patreon.

Hey, guess what? The rest of this forum doesn't seem to like your "armchair quarterbacking".
How about you take that hint and "excuse yourself"?
New topic: what sort of things does everybody want to see in the Shortz?

Trans rights are human rights. TV Tropes is not a place for bigotry, cruelty, or dickishness, no matter who or their position.A lot of the ones that I'm thinking of currently are ones that might be too dark for comedy (for instance Vegeta crowing about how he finally beat Goku by living, where everyone then talks about how he's screwed up everything for everyone multiple times just as badly as Goku has). Otherwise no real idea.

Are you just refusing to read everything we say, or what? We've gone over with you multiple times why them having their channel nuked is not an "inconvenience."

I really want a short about Krillin and 18 honestly. ^^ Whether that’s like, a first date or what I want something about the two of them, I already loved their relationship and DBZA’s version of it is amazing so I want more, them lol. :p ^^
I don’t know if they’re ever going to touch post Cell characters with the shorts (have they said that? I know they’ve said they’re not like, abridging/adapting Buu at all but I forget if they’ve said whether they’ll use Buu/Super characters in the shorts) but i don’t fully know why but I’d really love to see their take on Gotenks at somepoint ^^

Because this is an original project that they can actually find fulfillment and joy in working on and have a more regular release schedule?
