"Closing the door on storytelling options" doesn't really strike me as a compelling argument. If Toriyama/Toei isn't interested in exploring those stories anyway, what difference does closing the door to them make?

You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique! If there wasn't a scene later where Kriller uses the attack on Kid Boo, having it break on Cell's neck would just be a fine enough reason as to why he never uses it again.
That'd be swell.

You're time was short, but you did what you could while you could. That's all any of us can do.

It may get a spot solely for how broke it is in BT 3
Death beam is horrifically effective.
Its Special Beam Canon with one finger, and no charge time or need for an extra drill effect on the beam.
One Strip! One Strip!Nah, all of Trunks' techniques either already belong to other characters, or is that ball of energy he used once and the video games decided to give a name for whatever reason.
@Fedetropes: I think Kaiser hates everything that isn't the manga by principle.
And they kept it in DBZA because a) it was a very effective "Holy Shit" moment and b) Taka and Lani overruled him.

Is not that cell is more powerfull, is HOW.
the fact that cell dosent move at all, still marveling about is perfect body(which sound weird saying like that...) that he dosent notice krillin atack.
Is similar of how beers defeat goku sayain 3: he could just punch or kick him and be down with it, instead he jump and USE IS FINGER to defeat him in one move, THAT rise the stake and the rep of beers.
