He's got his hands out as if to try and push it back, but the moment it makes contact with him he's instantly reduced to a skeleton.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!![]()
I like when that happens, it just makes the attack seem like overkill.
I don't think so. I've been looking for where specifically it's played aside the fact that it's Buu Kai but I haven't had much luck. I also doubt the Toonami run ever played it because it's freaking awesome and memorable.
Edit: Found where apparently. Goku v. Kid Buu. And damn, I really got to remember my DB stuff. And not to take the long way to finding things when I can just go straight to DB Kai's Awesome Music page.

Burning love!He was taught those by his respective mentor. And even the Instant Transmission too so he hasn't really stolen a technique if you think about it.
Kamehameha is a stolen technique. He saw Kame-sennin do it, then promptly recreated the move himself out of nowhere. He has never actually received formal training on the technique; he just took it and made it his. Indeed, it was a plot point of just how much of a prodigy Goku is that he was able to reproduce it that way, when the actual training takes fifty years to master.
Of course, that fifty years thing was then promptly dumped out the window and now everyone and their dog can effortlessly learn the Kamehameha. But at the time, waaaaaay back in the very first Dragon Ball arc, it was supposed to be a thing that Goku circumvented, proving how much of a mysterious prodigy child he was.

My Tumblr. Currently side-by-side liveblogging Digimon Adventure, sub vs dub.I mentioned that Vegeta used Krillin's Destructo Disk to chop off Gohan's tail, and then I realized that Goku has never actually seen Krillin perform that move, but Vegeta has seem him do it at least three times. Against Nappa, against Frieza, and against Cell. Goku wasn't there for any of those, but Vegeta was. I forget if Krillin used it during the Buu Saga though.
Android 18 uses it against Goten and Trunks during the tournament. To avoid having to fight them, she splits their costume. This reveals them to be two fighters and gets them disqualified.
Goku wasn't there for that either.
My Tumblr. Currently side-by-side liveblogging Digimon Adventure, sub vs dub.Goku did see Vegeta use it. So either that’s where he got it from, or Krillin showed it to him at some unseen point.
Maybe during the three years of training for the Androids?
Have we pointed out that the Destructo-Disk/Kienzan only seems to really be effective when someone besides Krillin uses it?
He fails with it twice, but Veget A is immediately (though tragically) successful at cutting Gohan’s tail with it.
Then years later, Goku is able to successfully use it to cut Majin Buu in half and stop him from nuking everyone.
When everyone else uses your Signature technique better than you huh?
One Strip! One Strip!I had forgotten that Krillin tried to use it against Vegeta, but he just jumped over it. Which Goku was present for, but I don't know if he was able to get a decent look at the attack.
I remember Buu getting cut in half by the disc, but I couldn't remember who used it. I had assumed Krillin, since it was his attack.

You keep saying that, but for all intents and purposes the only characters stronger than them in their own universe are either long dead, in their team or in the stands. Krillin's power level suprassing the Ginyus means only Freeza, Cold, Piccolo, the Saiyans, the Androids, Dabura and Buu would be stronger as far as mortals go. And Freeza as he was before training was brutally strong for a mortal anyway.
So, the humans could probably take on canon-fodder, but would get demolished if, say, Frost blinked in their general direction.
Krillin and co. are nonfactors next to Goku, but regular joes have been nonfactors next to them ever since the 21st Budokai. Krillin is not a regular human that hangs around Goku; he is just not God-tier, or even Saiyan tier.
And that's why canon-fodder rich environments is where they shine: Just give them fodder to beat up; looks cool, everybody with a heart is satisfied, and then bigger fish show up to quickly dispose of them, giving Piccolo and/or Gohan a chance to shine. Then, real baddie worfs them, Goku and Vegeta appear, Vegeta makes an example of how not to tackle the situation, Goku manages a win.

Chain of command dictates that King Piccolo killed him.
The legend has returned.
