Yeah, basically the line of logic for Kid Buu > Buuhan (aside from just taking the anime at its word) is that both South and Dai Kaioshin weakened Kid Buu.
So this twisted version of Buu Math goes something like this:
Kid Buu: 150
Buff Buu: 90
Fat Buu: 40
Super Buu: 50
Buuccolo: 52
Buutenks: 102
Buuhan: 122
There's also usually some bit there about Goku and Vegeta getting a lot stronger over the course of the Buu Saga, apparently mostly when fighting Buuhan and traipsing through his innards.
Perhaps fusion gived them a power boost after separating?
ยกPONLE QUE DIGA!:"ยกHUMONGOSAURIO HASTA LA MUERTE!"So Pure Buu does have unlimited stamina.
Uni catDid some of the sources say "stronger" or "more dangerous"? Because the latter is probably true.
This song needs more love.'Strongest' 'most powerful' etc

Dammit! I thought we'd confirmed Kid Buu was weaker than Super Buu (and not that Super either).
Is this a debate again?
One Strip! One Strip! No, it's just some sources being wrong. Adaptation-Induced Plot Hole
Speaking of Buu, is there a reason why in Super he changes form only to do nothing? Especially when he's Fat Buu again in the DBZ epilogue?
Toei padding things out and really extending the Red Herring
Considering Kid Buu appeared after losing access to Gohan & Gotenks, 2 beings that are far superior to him, it doesnโt make sense for him to be stronger than Super Buu.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Yeah.
I'd prefer if there had been no Red Herring and Buu was just allowed to fight. They want to use Freeza, they can do that. If you got rid of the humans, there was room for both.
I go back and forth on it, but I have to admit that for once, not catering to the humans was the best choice.
Especially in the manga version where their presence was utterly irrelevant. In the anime, it was silly to pretend they were important again too.
Toei is gonna Toei, and they poured salt on the wound, but why did that wound have to be there in the first place. Why is Toriyama so hell bent on not using Buu?
One Strip! One Strip!I am confused. Who said Kid Buu was strong and which version, exactly?
Really? That silly. As usual I remember nothing of the anime, but I believe the manga made clear that Goku thought SSJ 3 could win, but that he needed Vegeta to distract Buu while he powered up. And also that he couldn't power up properly because SSJ 3 is actually garbage is you are not dead.

The anime did in a couple of lines (like the narration), and assorted supplements referencing the anime repeated this
Oh, the biggest one is in the anime's SS2 Goku fight. He says that Boo's speed, power and recovery are superior to "all of the Boos up until now" which would even include Gohan-Boo. Pretty ridiculous.

I mean, Goku might have been able to outfight Kid Buu with SS3, IF he could maintain it for long enough. Which I don't think he's physically capable of. Also, as with Cell, you have to take into consideration the regeneration thing. Goku landed what should have been a killing blow to Cell, but he just shrugged it off. And Buu was 100x worse in regards to that. Like, even if Goku was stronger than Kid Buu at that point I'm not sure he could have outright killed him using conventional attacks.

This. It's a Toei-ism.
Toei made a logical jump that Pure Buu is more powerful than Super Buu because the next transformation is always stronger than the last transformation. They were mistaken in doing so because, as always, they totally ignored the context and lore surrounding it.
My Tumblr. Currently liveblogging Haruhi Suzumiya and revisiting Danganronpa V3.That tentacle on Buu's head is clearly meant to evoke a ponytail, fitting the rest of his genie look.
Fat Buu looks a lot like Pintar with pink skin, closed eyes, and holes in his body.
I could buy Pure/Kid Buu regenerating/recovering a bit faster since he's a little ball of destruction that doesn't care about much.
Secret SignatureI could be wrong, but he honestly does seem to regen faster?
I agree.
And then there's the thing with being just smoke and still coming back.
That was outright unfair.
One Strip! One Strip! There's one part of the anime that I absolutely love, and it shows just how little the anime writers knew about Toriyama's intentions. It was the "next time on" bumper after the episode where Vegeta killed Zarbon, and it went something like this:
Narrator: "With Vegeta getting stronger fighting Freeza's forces, and Goku on his way training in increased gravity, the fated rematch between the two bitter enemies draws ever closer. Their battleground: Planet Namek!"
Like, they had NO fucking clue what was actually about to happen!
I mean, they both wanted that, kinda.
Because he wanted the drama of "oh no!! We're almost out of time and we just lost a key member of the team!" Like, Buu is very powerful. Losing him is a big deal. If Tien couldn't make it the reaction would be "oh noooo... whatever will we do..." and then they just replace him with Yamcha. But replacing Buu with Yamcha isn't equivalent exchange. They replaced Buu with Frieza because Frieza is insanely powerful, just like Buu.
Anyway, Goku vs Kid Buu rules and I'm glad it made the list.

My favorite thing about Goku vs. Kid Buu is when Buu bites Goku, and Goku immediately retaliates by biting him back.
With how many people Buu ate, there's a delicious bubblegum-flavored irony to him suffering at the teeth of someone else.

You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!I mean, if Tien was going to be pretty much useless anyway, why not just do away with him so that we can get both Buu and Frieza?
Jason has come back to kill for Mommy.
Huh, weird.
