All at once, pretty much.
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice. After seeing the trailer, I was all psyched for the action. When Broly stepped out of his ship, I was on the edge of my seat.
Totally wasn't prepared for that Saibaman to leap out of nowhere and blow him the f*ck up, abruptly ending the film. Well played, Toriyama. Well played.

My Tumblr. Currently side-by-side liveblogging Digimon Adventure, sub vs dub.You know, it just occurred to me how much weaker the Bio-Men are compared to Saibamen. A Saibaman was as strong as Raditz. Who was worlds stronger than Goku, who had left Roshi in the dust at that point.
Yet Roshi could handle... 3? 4? Bio-Men at the same time.
Like, in my mind I thought Bio-Men were stronger because, well, they came later. But no, they must be WAY weaker. Like, I don't even think that self-destruct in TWSA would've taken out Yamcha.

Yamcha was badly hurt, but still alive.
Whether it's because he was stronger than when it happened with the Saibamen, because of what you suggested, or a combination of both is hard to tell.
Though also it's a movie, so Power Levels are a little wonky anyway.
One Strip! One Strip!I mean, not just alive but just basically unaffected.
Yamcha's power level was, assuming no powering up since the Saiyan saga, 1,300.
Roshi's was 148. Assuming the Biomen are exactly the same as Roshi (which given how effortlessly they were trounced, is very generous), Yamcha's got ten times their power level.
Chaotsu vs. Nappa was 610 vs. 4000. Roughly 6.5 times. And he's basically unscratched.
... yes I'm over thinking this. But I'm just... Saiyan.

I'm near positive the Special Beam Cannon shot that killed him was 1440 (or 1480).
Anyway, while Gohan's attack greatly weakened him, it still would have taken an attack higher than his power level. High enough for him to freak out about it before he died.
One Strip! One Strip! The Saibaimen 'rivaled' Raditz in power at 1200. That would suggest they weren't exactly equal.
Furthermore, Gohan at 1,307 was said by Raditz only to stronger than Goku. You'd think it'd come up if he was stronger than Raditz at that time.
We've seen weaker characters/attacks injure stronger characters before. A 1,480 attack piercing a 1,500 person who was already injured isn't outlandish.

Also, there tends to be three "tiers" of damage. Blunt force damage, cutting damage, and piercing damage. The Kamehameha is a blunt force attack, with it's power spread out over a wide area (though this can vary based on how large the Kamehameha is). The Kienzan is a cutting attack, where all of the power is focused into a line, which allows it to hit above its weight class. The Makankosappo is a piercing attack, with all of its power focused into a small point, which should logically make it hit even harder above its weight class than the Kienzan.

For what it's worth, a promotional pamphlet given at the premier of movie 3 states the following power levels for Uiro and his henchmen:
- Dr. Uiro: 39,000
- Dr. Kochin: 8
- Misokattsun (fat yellow guy): 4,300
- Ebifuriya (buff pink guy): 7,500
- Kichime (green guy): 7,000
- Biomen: 1,000

No, they don't. Goku needs to use the Kaioken to beat each of the three henchmen, not one of whom has a battle power of over 8,000?
My Tumblr. Currently side-by-side liveblogging Digimon Adventure, sub vs dub. That would make his need to use the Kaioken even dumber.
So I wouldn't be surprised. Toei's gonna Toei. I'm sure they just had somebody write up those numbers to look cool and ride that battle power bandwagon without any regard for whether it actually fit the series or even the film itself.

Speaking of Super, do you think Episode 60's is going to mention Black in some form?
When can we expect the chapter?
