Just because they are full pro doesn't mean they don't do web shows and such. Kira Buckland still does projects with TFS (She is Aerith in FFVIIM and Heinkel in HUA, after all). It's just that they now typically get paid to do so when they aren't Doing It for the Art.
The powerful play goes on, and you may contribute a verse.I'd be surprised if he didn't. If Garlic Jr. warranted an episode dedicated to how much nobody f*cking cares about the Garlic Jr. arc, then there's no reason not to give one or two to Dai Kaio's tournament.

Yeah, that's apt. Garlic Jr. was an arc turned into a fifteen second joke (which is a shame in my opinion. Would've been nice to see other characters DO stuff). I would call what they did with Garlic Jr. very much NOT doing anything with it.
No.
Trunks was only trying to fix his shit Future and he had no other options.
I like Barry, and I get why he did what he did back at the end of Season 2, but don't compare them at all.
One Strip! One Strip!Considering all the shit it let Thawne get away with (only punished by taking away his powers, which resulted in him just causing more shit to get them back) I can buy that.
Plus, what happened to Trunks wasn't a result of dicking with time (at least not completely) but rather because Goku Black / Zamasu / Fused Zamasu / Wallpaper Zamasu / Zamasu Gundan is a massive prick who takes what Trunks did and used it as a excuse to scratch is genocide itch.
One Strip! One Strip!Trunks is a series of unfortunate events.
An asshole doctor creates two asshole androids, so our poor Trunky has to go back in time to save his friends. Turns out those asshole androids aren't quite the assholes in the new timeline (And stronger for some reason) and then an even bigger asshole android shows up and causes more problems. Also his dad is an asshole
Then he returns to his time, kills all the asshole androids and is done so. Until an asshole Goku shows up. Said asshole Goku is actually an asshole kai and in the end, poor trunky is crying because everyone important to him is dead.
Uni catHonestly, the whole Zamasu thing just felt like a really obnoxious attempt at "fixing" the Android arc. Like Toriyama decided that it was totally uncool for Trunks to have to go back to his broken timeline, so he introduced Zamasu as a roundabout way to remove Multiverse Theory from canon and shunt him over into the fixed future instead.
Zamasu's entire purpose as a character was simply to exterminate Trunks's timeline so that it can never be used again, and then be erased from existence by a Deus ex Machina as soon as it was done.

Then that's a fucking stupid reason.
I mean, Trunks already ended his story. He won. He lost a lot (like his version of Gohan) but he'd done it: he stopped his version of the Androids and even prevented Cell from being a thing. His story was done, and he'd triumphed.
The Zamasu story...it stole that from him. All of it. And while I like the anime version more than I should, I fully acknowledge that it was likely worse about it, since it let him believe he'd managed to somehow pull off the victory, only to then snatch it from in the most mean spirited way possible.
The manga wasn't much better: all the humans except Mai just got killed off offscreen as though they were an afterthought (which isn't a shock, because Earth and it's people don't really matter at all anymore, and haven't since the series went to space, barring their joining in on killing Majin Buu—which happened because he just didn't want to let Gohan do it), but at least the manga didn't pretend Trunks had won only to go ''neener! neener! You still lost! Now go fuck yourself!
One Strip! One Strip!Question, how did the whole Goku Black arc actually end? My understanding was that after all was said and done, Trunks' universe was put back into place, or at least a copy of it, where he could live with everyone who was still alive then and life could go on. Did I miss a meeting somewhere?
I hate a Happy Ending Override much as the next guy, but the way I understood it he got his happy ending back

His universe got erased and it never came back. He and Mai were put into a different timeline that already had its own versions of Trunks and Mai and they just had to deal with it. It might look the same but it still isn't really his per se.

This song needs more love. The actual reason people didn't like the that particular development is that there's simply no reason to have done that if you're just going to plop him in an identical timeline. It defeats the point of destroying his.
There's also the general feeling that the arc is so self-contained it might as well not have happened at all. At least in the original manga the status quo changes were apparent and long reaching.
He probably should've died...
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.

Looking back on it, Goten wasn’t particularly stupid in Z as much as he is more childish (whereas Goku was initially feral and had no idea how the world worked) and had a “follower” personality where he rarely thought for himself.
They’ve since outright dropped a lot of his more childish traits in favor of making him more precociously sensible in Super. Which, amusingly, coincides with him being out of focus.
