Woooooooooooooooooow.... apparently that's something Sasuke has more in common with Goku than Naruto!
Other bits from Super I've come across recently (can't remember if they were posted here and don't care to check):
I don't understand why the "Goku doesn't know what kissing" line agitates people so much.
Dragon Ball has always run on an element of Rule of Funny.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique! With the Super anime it's weird because it's basically a continuation of the Dragon Ball anime in which Toei added at least one scene of Chichi and Goku kissing (you don't see it directly, but that's obviously what they're doing), when Goku recovers from his heart virus, and Chich jumps into his arms.
Because they're emotionally invested in the idea of Goku being a good husband and father, have carried the flag for it in countless arguments over the past couple decades due to it being a hotly contested issue, and don't appreciate Super taking the other team's side.
The same reason shippers get upset if the canon declares an enemy ship canon. Or why Yamcha fans got pissed off when Toriyama straight up said that Yamcha's a cheater. People don't like it when the canon or Word of God Josses things that they're emotionally invested in.
That scene is in the manga too, BTW, so it's not just a dub thing or just an anime thing. Viz's official translation is as follows:
- Goku: What the...?! He's seriously doing something like that?!
- Vegeta: What...! You've never done it before?
- Goku: Huh? Done what?
- Vegeta: Umm...a kiss....
- Goku: Of course I haven't!
- Vegeta: But you're married!
- Goku: Huh? How's that related?
False Dichotomy. Goku doesn't need to be a good husband to at least understand what kissing is, and said knowledge wouldn't imply anything about his relationship with Chichi or whether he liked kissing or anything of the like. It would just be a fact he picked up by living and interacting with normal people, as he has been doing for decades.
Honeslty, Tobias, you seem much more obsessed with "proving" these things than anyone else.

Point of fact: Goku has not been living and interacting with normal people for decades. The closest thing to "normal people" in Goku's life is Bulma, and even she often doesn't see him for years at a time.

My Tumblr. Currently side-by-side liveblogging Digimon Adventure, sub vs dub. This issue has nothing to do with Goku being a good father or husband.
The problem is that they made him into a gigantic moron. Goku is not that stupid.
"Decade". After he meets Bulma in his early teens hes always surronded by friends & family from then on.

You know exactly what I meant. Now you're just going on to be pedantic to salvage your points. That's not good faith argument.
The point being that Goku has gathered a better understanding of things in his life than when we first met him as a jungle boy living alone, and while in many ways he is still that kid, kissing is not something it is reasonable to expect him to be bemused by, for various reasons. Again, that says nothing about his interest in kissing, or his relationship with Chichi.
I'm not actually super bothered by it, but I do get annoyed when people act like going "It's Goku" makes it somehow less stupid. It does not.

Yeah, but I wouldn't call them normal. His teacher is a guy whose title includes the word "Hermit" :-P His other friend's a former tyrant/scam artist shapeshifter, a bandit (also living in the desert), a noseless former monk and fellow student to the aforementioned hermit. A triclops and weird chinese vampire/doll thing who also avoid civilization.
I'd also point out that Tobias, the scene you describe is different from the Anime. In your translation, Goku seems to know what a Kiss is, he's just not done one.

No, he's not. He frequently goes without seeing his friends and family for years at a time. And even when he does, his friends and family are not normal people by any stretch.
We already know that his understanding of marriage is "another person lives in your house" as Krillin explained at the 23rd Tenkaichi Budokai. It's a definition that he's successfully fulfilled but rarely surpassed.
The real mystery isn't why he doesn't know what a kiss is. It's how Gohan and Goten came into existence. The implications of that have never been pretty.

My Tumblr. Currently side-by-side liveblogging Digimon Adventure, sub vs dub.Would people actually be fine with him knowing what "the word for to people locking lips" is and just never having done it?
Also, I don't see how being surrounded by people would make you aware of certain thing...if he didn't know what it was, that would imply he's never seen people do it before.
That's censorship...

Matches Tobias' Manga translation. He knows what a kiss is, has never received one.

That's true.
Goku knowing what a kiss is but finding them disgusting is probably the most reasonable interpretation, now that you guys mention it.
IIRC, Toriyama has said that Goku views his wife and children as friends, about on the same level as Krillin and Bulma, but nothing more than that. Being turned off by displays of affection fits in with this idea of Goku being aromantic.

My Tumblr. Currently side-by-side liveblogging Digimon Adventure, sub vs dub.Yeah I'm gonna go with that too.
Goku's manipulation of Old Kai shows he's very much aware of that stuff, he just doesn't give a damn. Which makes sense as he has spent an extended period of time with resident super pervert Roshi so he's sure to have picked up on some stuff whether he wants too or not.
So I'm now interpreting that when he says he's never kissed anyone, he means he's never been the one to initiate it. Chi-Chi has kissed him but he has never kissed Chi-Chi.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."When you say that, how Goku and Chichi could have two kids without kissing suddenly makes a ton of sense when you realize all Goku knows of sex comes from Roshi.

He's not the "pants" in that manlationship...
Except not even, the most he could get out of Turtle Hermit is groping and peeking...
