Would it? I feel like they've done that joke at least once before now...
They haven't had a character just be dummer than Karrot...
The dumb characters never interact with him anyway...
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice. No they didn't.
Karrot showed up, Over 9000 happened, and Nappa immediately got wrecked...
They didn't even say one word to eachother...
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice. When put that way, Kakarrot has interacted with almost every character...
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.I've always wondered what Cell's feelings towards Gero were. Now I know.
Yeah, I was playing Legacy of Goku II and there's a joke in it about Trunks' parentage that caught me off guard since I thought that was an abridged only thing.
Mandela effect, essentially.

"And when the last law was down and the Devil turned round on you, where would you hide, the laws all being flat?"What josh would that be?
I'm curious.

Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice. Some of hers are more of an exasperated "Oh my god(, I can't believe you're that dumb)."
My interpretation of the (canon only, I haven't watched extra cutscenes yet) DBFZ story seems to suggest a character interpretation I hadn't previously considered for Dr. Gero, when coupled with 16 (and 17 and 18's) post script backstory:
He strikes me as a case of someone who loved, if not fully understood, his mate/partner/"wife". It seems that the Androids 16 through 21, including Cell, may have been an attempt of his to reunite his "family" in more-perfect bodies.
- 21's backstory is explained in game.
- Cell could've been Gero's intended vessel. It's design would've been "ultimate life form" in body specifically, but the personality was pretty much doomed to be uncontrollable and unpredictable based off of the parameters of its creation. His biomass absorption ability, and ability to absorb 17 and 18, could've been a more primitive attempt at the "linking" phenomenon, which he could've intended to perfect for use on himself and his partner (when her body was designed). He died before it was completed.
- Android 20 was him temporarily transferring his consciousness into a more capable body in case it wore out on him before linking could be perfected. It also gave him a stronger body he knew he could control, whereas the others weren't perfected yet.
- Android 19 could've been the prototype for 20, and gave him backup for things he still wasn't capable of. Additionally, it was the first instance of energy absorption, which could've been early linking technology.
- 17 and 18, as twins, could've been his successful models of stable host bodies that already had their own consciousness, to test the ability of a pair of artificial bodies to remain compatible people. The infinite energy generators could've worked as an example of sustained life for himself and his partner in the eventual ultimate life form design. The innate consciousnesses could've proved too powerful in either timeline, which is why they were put on ice in the canon, and why they might've presumably killed him before he finished his work in Future Trunks' timeline.
- The South City attack in either timeline could've been a test-drive that went out of hand. In Future Trunks' because they overpowered him (and 19) early, and in canon because while he waited until he knew he'd outpaced any physical threat Earth had seen prior to Trunks' warning, he wasn't counting on Z-Fighter offworld experience or time travelers throwing off his math.
- Android 16 was the attempt at an artificial human minus the original soul. Perhaps it was stalled until he had himself, his partner, and his son's bodies, and the linking technology, ready, and would've used the Dragon Balls to bring back the souls for insertion.

Something I found amusing is the revelation of why the Ginyu Force is so loyal to Frieza over in Fighter Z.
Turns out Frieza gives out fantastic benefits which includes dental & getting your own planet.
It makes the whole "Pay you to live" joke funnier knowing that.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Abridged also implies that the Ginyu Force isn't just Frieza's personal top team, as both King Cold and Cooler have standing orders to Ginyu that supercede anything Frieza says.
Specifically dances that Frieza has to sit through if he wants to get anything done.

I never caught this before, but in the scene of Bulma playing back the final message of Gero's son
, it's mentioned Dr. Gero was working with Dr. Frappe, the guy the anime made to be the creator of Android 8, back when nobody thought that would ever get brought up again. That's a really neat touch.
