Wow. She does not come across like a Big Bad at all.
Also, Gotenks's voice acting is terrible.
All that aside, still hyped. Don't have the game yet, but planning on renting it.

Remember how he abandoned his pregnant wi- er, mate, and didn't even try to save them from Gero? He got better, but at least Goku always loved Gohan, even if it manifested in weird ways. Like, evil fathers who don't care about their kids is one thing, but even if you do love your kid that doesn't mean you won't seriously mess them up. I can think of two examples.
First, Slade Wilson from Teen Titans. Guy had a wife and two boys, but he went around being a professional mercenary, not that his family knew about it. Because of his occupation another merc kidnapped his youngest kids and held him at knife point. Slade thought he was fast enough to save the kid. He was half right. The kid did get his throat slit, but he didn't die, though he was rendered mute. When his wife found out she was so pissed that she shot Slade in the head with a gun. Slade was fast enough to kind of dodge, so instead of having his brains splattered all over the wall he just lost the one eye.
But if you really want a dad who messed up their kid doing what they though was best for them, look no further than Locke, father of Knuckles the Echidna from the Archie Sonic comics. When his wife laid the egg that would be Knuckles, (Echidnas lay eggs like a Platypus,) the first thing Locke did was secretly expose the egg to large doses of radiation from the master emerald. When Knuckles was three, Locke and his wife had a big disagreement about how Knuckles should be raised. Locke wanted to train him to be a Guardian, but his wife wanted Knuckles to have a normal life. So, Locke pulled rank on her. Since he's Guardian the authorities let him have full custody of Knuckles. He took Knuckles away from his mother to Angel Island, began raising him in the wilderness, and told him his mother was dead. When Knuckles was ten, Locke faked his death and left Knuckles all alone to fend for himself, wanting his son to learn to be self sufficient. Locke thought this was the best way to train Knuckles to be a Guardian and learn to defend himself. He thought this was in Knuckles best interests.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."I think I finally have a good reason for why Cell is like 90% bug. Cell clearly has genetic memory, that is he knows stuff from his genetic parents. Saiyan, humans, and whatever Freeza is don't have genetic memory. But what if Gero found a bug that did? Then Gero would have a way for a clone to know all the techniques of the people whose DNA he was using to make his creation.
In his final form he looks like a combination of Piccolo & Frieza.
The wings, crown, & stinger are the interesting features cause no one shares them. Gero could have added a little bug DNA for whatever reason to helps his absorption traits.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."

Was it a "Blind Idiot" Translation? Because it looked like a "Blind Idiot" Translation.
"You've become stronger! You've really made me proud. ...Finally!" is a line that my gut says was supposed to be, "You've finally become stronger! You've really made me proud." But I don't have any evidence that backs that up. It's just speculation.
It's hilarious, mind you, and was fun to make jokes about while it was a thing, but it did seem more likely to be a translation error than a deliberate characterization choice.
