I always liked Piccolo and his contrast as the "mature" one as well as his physical contrast to all the spiky dudes, and he managed to still participate in fights till the end.
I agree on pretty much everyone else.
I would have just liked more interesting techniques in general. For all the love that Toriyama gets, he really sucks at making interesting fights. You have this wonderful resource like ki, and it's used for almost the exact same things in each fight. Toriyama said the fights aren't about power level, but really, they are most of the time.

Fight. Struggle. Endure. Suffer. LIVE.Piccolo stopped being useful in battle once Imperfect Cell beat him, though. It's nice he still remained relevant in a non-battle way, at least, but it's a bit of a shame. And just after he merged with Kami to become super-powerful, too.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!Piccolo went unmentioned because he's technically a DB character (Since he debuts in the last ark of Dragonball) though yeah, DBZ made him more developed.
I do think it sad since a lot of the characters who were sidelined had cool moves. Tien invented the Solar Flare and Multi Form, Yamcha and his Spirit Balls. Hell, I wish Krillin used his Scattering Bullet more than once. One wishes to see what they'd have come up with on DBZ
Well, Krillin got screen time at least.

... why would you inflict that upon poor souls that hadn't already seen it? Why?!! *curls into a ball and shudders*

| Wandering, but not lost. | If people bring so much courage to this world...◊ |My first thought: 5 minutes? Wow, this is going to suck.
My second thought: everything in this sucks.
- The fact that it's GT
- Everyone's outfits
- Kid Goku is a stupid concept
- Pan was annoying
- Giru was worse
- Those bad guys are just... ugh.
- Again, 5 minutes of this? Really?
- That Salt Shaker reference was hilariously bad.
- "S to the M"
Pan getting knocked around was kinda funny though.

But yeah, it seems "Tri Beam" was a rename because they liked the unique pose Tien takes when prepping it.
I wish Tien had been relevant for longer. I like his moves.
I have a message from another time...
