Who's gonna stop him from just taking the spaceship if he wants it? He's the 1B most powerful being on Earth and the 3B most powerful being in the universe.
My various fanfics.Yeah, but then you still have the problem of Vegetto in both mediums. Vegetto single-handedly kills all sane notions of power-scaling Blue Goku and Vegeta anywhere near Beerus. Also, as Vegeta showed in his fight with Beerus, Mastered Super Saiyan Blue is a sizable power-up over Super Saiyan Blue in its own right.
Well, Blue Vegetto was stronger than Beerus in the manga, so that's not an issue. Though his strength still seems lowballed, as was pretty much inevitable if he returned.
I think it's better off just coming up with an in-universe reason Goku and Vegeta can't fuse (say that the previous defusion has rendered potara inert for them) because Vegetto is such a ridiculous increase in the Boo arc you could never fit him in any sort of power-scaling going forward.
In the original manga/anime, they break the potara because of their pride but ALSO because they seriously underestimate Kid Buu. Before that, Goku refused to fight Super Buu unfused on the grounds that they'll die.
And then while fighting Kid, Goku admits that he underestimated him and wished they had just used potara. In the beginning of BOG, Goku muses on using potara but dismisses it because he thinks that won't even be enough for Beerus, so he needs to figure out what Super Saiyan God is instead.
Super making them more reluctant to fuse doesn't even work because they ultimately DO fuse against Zamasu. It's incredibly lazy to be like 'it makes sense they don't fuse, they never ever ever will again despite previous characterization' but then decide you want Vegetto for fanservice and go 'uhhhh and then Vegeta and Goku decide to fuse but THIS time they really will never ever do it again'.
Occam's razor, there is no way Toriyama is using a logarithmic scale. And the 6 / 10 comparison fits with Godku forcing Beerus to use 70% of his power (so a 7 to Goku's 6, maintaining a decent advantage on him in the fight).

Even in the manga, the 6/10/15 scale can't hold up. Super Saiyan Blue is significantly stronger than Super Saiyan God, Mastered Super Saiyan Blue is significantly stronger than Super Saiyan Blue, and serious Beerus one-shot MSSB Vegeta. The 6/10/15 scale works great as a point of reference for Battle of Gods the movie and nothing past that point.
I don't think anyone is arguing otherwise. Just that it would be nice if the materials post BOG (and RF) had been written to follow the 6/10/15 scale.
I definitely would have preferred it to Beerus' vague 'vastly better than you' power we got for the first 100 odd episodes of Super.

... Bulma. Because how many other people on Earth have FTL spaceships?
Found a Youtube Channel with political stances you want to share? Hop on over to this page and add them.Super nerfed Vegetto significantly. Potara Fusion is revealed to only be permanent when performed between two Kaioshin. Any other type of Potara Fusion is temporary like the Fusion Dance, lasting only an hour. Furthermore, as was the case with Super Saiyan 3 Gotenks, Blue Vegetto is too powerful and burns through all of his Fusion time early, with the implication being that the stronger Goku and Vegeta get, the less they'll be able to use Vegetto.
Edit: Regarding Vegeta just stealing the spaceship, the premise was that Bulma was mad at Vegeta and promptly disallowing him access to the Gravity Chamber. The Gravity Chamber is in the spaceship.

My Tumblr. Currently side-by-side liveblogging Digimon Adventure, sub vs dub. When a Kai is involved in the Fusion...
Not just between two...
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice. It's not just the anime either.
Both the time limit and the power issue exist for the manga as well, essentially making Potara fusion functionally identical to non Potara fusion.
Even though there was a far better way to undo it.
One Strip! One Strip!

He could train on a super heavy distant planet. Or on a spaceship orbiting a black hole.
