Vegeta mentioned shooting at Santa multiple times - "every Christmas eve" was the beginning of the story; he acknowledges he only knew about one hit, but Bad Santa states that one of the others hit.
Piccolo's overreaction was a callback to his annoyance in Broly that no one remembered the Namekian villain.

Then why didn't they have them do non-descript ki blast then?

I could picture that happening...the Trump people part that is.
You know, I think this is most friendly we've ever seen Vegeta. Which is a pretty big accomplishment for him considering he still a raging asshole.
I love how the villains were just in complete disbelief at Bulma coming out of nowhere and screwing things up. And of course, actually seeing Coola and Frieza interact was great.
The Christmas jokes got a little ludicrous after a while, but not in a way that made me dislike the whole thing. All in all, t'was pretty fun.
One Strip! One Strip! The Santa puns were too much, Karrot's were fine.

http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/lb_i.php?lb_id=13239183440B34964700 Alfric's Fire Emblem Liveblog Encyclopedia!Really my only problems with this one were that the Santa plotline meant no tuffle backstories in abridged, ever (since they're likely never going to do GT) and no joke around revenge on the Saiyans somehow includes piccolo as a target and Turles as an ally. Neither point really damaged my enjoyment of it, though. Plus they gave the perfect explanation as to why Vegeta didn't help in the fight (Which the original special could have solved by adding in Broly or 13 for trunks to fight or keeping the Frieza fight a 2 on one.) Tarble reference is good but kind of complicates Vegetas line at the beginning of the cell arc where I'm pretty sure he counts Tarble when correcting Bulma on how many Saiyans he is the Prince of. Then again they keep the movies within their own pocket of continuity, so probably shouldn't worry about it. I was also a little bothered that they took out Goku instant transmissioning back to capsule corp considering how Vegeta (or trunks, one of the two) plops to the ground in that shot would have been great material for comedy.
It doesn't really complicate anything even still...no body, no confirmation seems to be the go to logic point.
Veggie's only assuming he's dead now, when he wasn't before.

Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.Vegeta uses Tarble as Schrodinger's Saiyan. He's alive when his existence can be used to puff up Vegeta's ego, and he's dead when it's funny.

My favorite part of the special is Piccolo pointing out that he sort of is the Holy Trinity.
