What happy ending; the dude got sent to Heaven only because he'd probably like Hell, which means that it'd probably have been torture for him. Though considering all the retcons about the afterlife we've gotten at this point, he was probably actually sent to the same kind of Hell Frieza was sent to, since personal Hells seem to be a thing now, and has most likely passed on into his next life now.
Let's see if you can get past my Beelzemon. Mephiles, WARP SHINKA!Technically, it's only a happy ending because he would have liked going to hell.
Sending him to Heaven was the only way to punish, and he essentially went native.
But that's just my thoughts on the matter really.
One Strip! One Strip!Frieza's Hell isn't a retcon. We're never actually shown what Hell is like in the manga; just told that it's a temporary state in which a person's soul is purified of corruption before they're shuffled into the reincarnation cycle.
While it's not explicitly clear what the little dancing cherubs are doing to Frieza, purifying his corruption isn't a hard assumption to make.
My Tumblr. Currently side-by-side liveblogging Digimon Adventure, sub vs dub.Except he seems to be the only thing in that Hell beyond all the angels, it's implied he's actively stopping his own purification and as such is the only villain who has apparently not moved on yet, meaning Raditz and Nappa don't exist anymore along with Cell and Dabura, and both Frieza calling it Earth's Hell and a comment from King Yemma about him not having to deal with Frieza anymore if he gets taken care of outside of Earth, imply that there are actually multiple Hells, and King Yemma only has jurisdiction of those who die on Earth.
Let's see if you can get past my Beelzemon. Mephiles, WARP SHINKA!Although Freeza having his body in Hell probably is a retcon since someone had to give it to him and I have no idea who or why.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!Frieza being the only visible person in the immediately vicinity of his tree, the only portion of Hell we see, does not indicate he's the only person in all of Hell.
Also, Frieza does not have his body in Hell. He's drawn in such a fashion to resemble himself for the same reason that Bulma, Chi-Chi, Videl, and Dabura's wispy clouds resemble their bodies in the anime filler they appear in: to be identifiable to the audience.
It is actually a plot point that Frieza's body was diced into pieces before being vaporized and thus, upon resurrection, he is restored as the diced pieces. Being vaporized is what killed him, so Shenron only heals that aspect while resurrecting him. The rest has to be handled by his minions, because unlike everyone who got to keep their body, nobody ever repaired Frieza's after he died.

My Tumblr. Currently side-by-side liveblogging Digimon Adventure, sub vs dub.Yeah, see, before, I would have agreed with you. Then Goku went to go get Freeza for the Tournament of Power and that episode blew that theory right out of the water. Freeza has his body.
Of course, that could have just been Toei bullshit since Toei has never cared about how anything in Dragon Ball works and they've been getting the Afterlife wrong from the very beginning. We'll have to see what the manga does.

Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book! That Dabura filler is about as canon as the humans beating up the Ginyu Force on King Kai's planet.
Also, it's been like 17 years since GT ended; do you honestly think this would be the same Toei team that worked on that or Z, or that anyone in that company is as fanatic when it comes to remembering every single detail like we are? Hell, even then Saiga is the only one here I'd put complete faith in, simply because the rest of us have misremembered something about this series at some point in the past.
Let's see if you can get past my Beelzemon. Mephiles, WARP SHINKA!Saying Nappa and Raditz got gyped is silly. They're unrepentant mass murderers. They don't deserve anything.
Neither did Vegeta, but the fact that he was able to turn around doesn't mean that chance had to be extended to anyone else.

That is almost certainly a Toei thing, since the pre-tournament episodes are probably filler to give Toriyama more time to do his scripts. Some parts may have come from him, but overall they seem very similar to Super's other between-arc breather episodes.

The tournament and pre tournament is kinda canon, err well as canon as filler gets. All the major characters were designed by Toriyama including the grand Kai and the 2 Kais we do not see in the manga and the tournament itself was his idea similar to the notes given to Super's staff.
The Grand Kai himself and his job is canon, mentioned by Piccolo since he thought the Supreme Kai was the Grand Kai till the Supreme Kai corrected him.

I've kind of lost all patience for the effort to keep what's really truly in continuity straight anymore. Especially with stuff like Kai keeping things one would expect to be cut, Super being Anime First, and Xenoverse kinda-but-not-really retconning Online, which itself was in a weird position ever since BOG happened. Keeping it all straight feels like more trouble than it's wort these days.
I have a message from another time...Quite a bit. Everything with Frog Ginyu and Gohan fighting Final Form Freeza spring to mind. There's more but it's not like I remember this stuff.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!Majin Boo DOES use magic. And beat several people stronger than him.
Babidi's entourage was great for showing that the Sorting Algorithm of Evil can't keep up with the heroes' escalation.

And then he got a happy ending.
Nappa and Raditz, on the other hand, are still in Hell with all the other assholes not named Vegeta.
