I'm pretty sure Yamucha isn't a tertiary character...

- "Bitch, no! I'm a professional, damnit!"
That's not as noticeable as it should be...

It doesn't quite capture the country vibe that Goku's supposed to have, instead being more of a generic simpleton accent.

My Tumblr. Currently side-by-side liveblogging Digimon Adventure, sub vs dub.Well that's more or less how they portray Goku anyway, so it fits for their interpretation.
I notice every voice Goku has had, or at least the most popular ones, brings it's own distinction to his general personality.
Masako is more along the lines of a childish hick like most have described. Sean sounds more traditionally heroic while still making him sound innocent. And DBZA as described just makes him an all out simpleton.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.Yeah Goku and Chi Chi speak a form of Tohoku Regional Accent, its not extreme to the point it needs subtitles for Japanese speakers but its there. Chi Chi's was rather pronounced in her appearances before the tournament.
The biggest sign that we can pick up is they both use "Ora" instead of "Boku" or "Watashi".
