Now I'm thinking about Dragon Ball characters as Yu-gi-oh cards.
heh.
If played against the card Saibaman, the green plant menace, Yamcha will be automatically destroyed, along with Saibaman regardless of life points.
If fighting along side other cards, Yamcha will draw all attacks away from said cards and be the first card eliminated at all times...unless the cards Invisible Man, Vampire Man, the Muay Thai menace, and Krillin, Bald Monk Hero are on the field.
Mwa ha ha ha ha.
One Strip! One Strip!
Then Zen'o is the same thing but it also destroy both your hands. :-P
Anyway, thinking about it, a Yu Gi Oh DB/DBZ deck would be focused around Goku
So I'd make Goku a low attack card with the special ability that if he's destroyed or removed from the field in any way by opponent monster, traps or spells, he's instead returned to his owner's hands - but he can only return to the field once his attack value increases (Because Goku only gets rematches after increasing his power level via some bullshit manner).
So several minions buff Goku with a bonus when they come into play (they do this even if he's in your hand). These would include Roshi: Turtle School Master, Kami: Guardian of Earth and King Kai: Northern Kai.
Some other stuff can buff Goku, like Field effects such as Korin's Tower. Or The Hyperbolic Time Chamber which would remove Goku from the field for one turn but return him with 1000 attack points more. (If Gohan is in play, he's also removed and buffed).
Of course the most powerful buff card for Goku is Krillin: Bald Monk, who causes goku's attack value to become 10 times larger if he's destroyed. Thus destroying your own Krillin is an important move (Of course, Krillin can only be destroyed by enemy minions, no friendly fire here).
Goku's changing attack value of course affects other cards: Vegeta: Prince of All Saiyans has an attack equal to Goku -200. Coz Vegeta is always juuuuuust behind Goku. But as a bonus if you play Vegeta you can automatically play Nappa: Saiyan Brute. If Nappa and Vegeta both survive 3 turns, Nappa is automatically destroyed.
Family Kamehameha is a spell that requires Gohan: Elder Son and Goten: Saiyan Brat to be the sole monsters in play on your side, and does damage equal to their combined attack + Goku's.
If Goku's attack is bellow 1000, you can play a Full Moon card to replace him with Oozaru. But that stops being possible if Goku's attack is too high, and it only happened earlier in his carreer.
Solar Flare would be a trap that triggers if a monster is attacked. The attack is negated and the monster is returned to your hand.
Spirit Bomb does damage based on how many monsters are on the field.
Man, I can do this all day.

I think Body Change would instead be a spell that exchanges one of your monsters with an opponent's. And Captain Ginyu lets you search your deck for it when he's summoned.
Holstein Shock: quickplay Spell: select one monster you control. It is sent to the graveyard at the end of the turn.
I have a message from another time...Does YGO have sacrifice effects? Where you kill your own creature in order to trigger an effect? Because that might work for Body Change. Sacrifice Ginyu to take control of your opponent's monster.

I guess that'll include merged Zamasu as well (Goku Black / Zamasu).
Also, there are two types of Fusion: The earrings and the dance (which is a ritual spell card that performs fusion).
We're gonna need cards for the Earth Dragonballs, the Black Star Dragonballs, the Namekian Dragonballs, and the Super Dragonballs as well.
Makes sense.
Super Saiyan God can only be used when Goku, Vegeta, Goten, (kid) Trunks, Gohan and Videl, future mother are on the field.
If Videl, Future mother is not available, Pan, child of the ex heroine can be used, but this will only result in restoring life points of the user and increasing the power of Goku instead.

One Strip! One Strip!Well the dragonballs are easy, have 7 of the same set and summon the matching dragon.
Super Shenron requires you to have a god in play too, coz only they can make the wish.
Shenron would be a mass Resurrection that returns all destroyed monsters to your hand or field or whatever.
Porunga lets you take three specific monsters or spells from either your deck or your hand or graveyard and put them on the field.
Super Sheron wins you all the games. Forever.
Dragon Radar allows you to search your deck for Dragonballs.
The black star dragonball make you lose the game, coz fuck GT.
(Alternatively, same effect as Shenron, but you automatically lose in 1 turn if you don't win).
On death, Merged Zamasu turns into some sort of field effect?

Oh. I like that. That works.
One Strip! One Strip!

But oh god, if you do manage to pull if off, it is a thing of beauty.
And if you do it in a tournament format, with witnesses.
