He fought Recoome in filler, and I do believe they have that fight in his Galaxy Mode, but not as the main battle because it only happened in filler and as such isn't as important.
And also because Yamcha being killed by the Saibaiman is made fun of in every video game the two appear in.

Yeah, Recoome is one of his opponents in Galaxy Mode but not the boss.
Also, anyone who gets hit by the Saibaman's ultimate attack is left in the "Yamcha Pose" afterward. It's quite funny.
Also, not only is Yamcha's boss battle against a lone Saibaman, but a previous regular battle of his is against a swarm of (weaker AI'd) Saibamen, and one of his team battles is teamed up with a Saibaman. It's like they ship Yamcha and Saibamen.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!Just unlocked Seal Near Death Start III like you were talking about. I swear, it's like the AI is focused less on winning the match and more on preventing me from fulfilling the perfect actions. Huddling close to me when I'm trying to do one that requires I stand far away, letting themselves get hit by every attack EXCEPT the ones I need, and so on.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique! One thing to note: in the "what if Cell accidentally absorbed Krillin" story from Budokai 1, Yamcha is still soundly taken out by Cellin. He even says that matching him with Yamcha "just isn't fair".
On the subject of What If stories, I really need to get myself a legit copy of Supersonic Warriors, because that as some of the most fun What If scenarios I've yet seen, and because, it being out of print and therefore not sending any money to the developers aside, it simply can't be played properly with a keyboard.
But back on the subject of What If stories. It's ineresting to see that there is apparently a What If for every charater, and then a story mode for what actually happened. Intriguingly, the Goku What If is entirely separate from the canon story.
But the most fun are What If stories for unusual characters. Piccolo's story has him using the Dragon Balls to ressurect his father, so he can merge with him and get strong enough to fight Buu.
Or the story where, after getting murderized by Frieza and resurrected, Krillin is the one to defend Earth from Gero after Goku dies of the heart disease. His story goes so far as to have him defeat Buu, after some Otherworld training with Goku, mind.
But the most hilarious is the Dr. Gero story. He repeatedly tests his androids on simulated hologram things, but when he sends them in to fight the real thing, you control his enemies and beat the oil out of him. Even when he busts out Cell. It gets to the point where, in the end, Piccolo asks Goku why he's letting him leave again, and Goku basically says "he's so pathetic that he doesn't pose a real threat at this point. And I'm actually curious to see what he'll try next." So the moral of Gero's what if is "Gero Sucks"
Just behind that for sheer wackiness is the Gotenks story, where they wind up ripping a hole in space-time and fighting Frieza, among others. Makes up for Gotenks being so overpowered, anyway.
I have a message from another time...I like how Frieza's space tweet of "lol blewed up filthy monkey planet" has a response from Cooler underneath saying "You're a prick". I guess calling each other pricks is what brothers do.
You know, I just noticed Turles has gotta be wickedly strong relative to the time period his movie is set in. Goku's Kaioken x20 fails to even phase him, and given Goku's power level at the time it would suggest Turles had a power level of around 600,000. Before the Namek arc.
...I kinda wonder what Super Saiyan Nappa would look like. Long golden moustache?
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!

Really? Didn't he fight the Ginyu Force? They could've chosen them. Hahaha.
