I never said anything about trying - it was a blanket "Don't kill Rob".
If you're going to destroy the world, then you have to do it in a way that doesn't kill Rob.
Alright, how about this: "Do not partake in any action that might possibly cause the death of Rob."

Oh God! Natural light! You know, fuck it, I'm too tired for this.
Rob, you're on your own. Godspeed, my friend.
Oh God! Natural light!Okay, clearly I let this get out of control when I started this joke.
My bad.
Let's get this back on track with a nice, civil, Dragon Ball related topic.
My various fanfics.Obviously they couldn't have possibly known this would have ever been a thing when they originally made the jokes, but now I wish that instead of a stereotypical pirate captain, Bojack and his entire crew was one extended, sustained Bojack Horseman reference.
You could probably get Will Arnett to do it.
My various fanfics.Just wanted to add before - I know Cell was blow up planets due to how DB's power scaling is linear and much weaker characters can do it, my response was just saying that being so specific about Superman's feats would be like doing the same thing for Cell. DB and DC both get a lot of their strength comparisons from statements/descriptions/comparisons to weaker characters etc.
Idle thought: characters in Dragon Ball are supposed to be moving super fast when fighting and only characters close to their power can follow the action, because having a higher battle power means you can perceive things faster or something.
This is true when they're hitting each other, but what about when they're just standing there staring at each other and trading verbal barbs? Are there ever instances where, like, Frieza delivers a goddamn monologue on how awesome he is while Krillin's just standing there like, "What are they doing? I can't keep up!"

My Tumblr. Currently side-by-side liveblogging Digimon Adventure, sub vs dub.Nope, and we have examples of characters reacting to the monologues of more powerful characters (though it doesn't come up as often in the manga).
The 'too fast to see' concept is one of the things that is not kept very consistent in the series. People in the 25th Budokai can perceive the fight that Goten and Trunks have despite them being way stronger than Goku was when he fought Freeza so fast Piccolo couldn't see it.
Kinetic Action should be used a lot more in this series than it really is...
Unfortunately that'd mean less beam attacks...
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.Or the fact that the characters were moving too fast to see at the 21st Budoukai yet the Announcer and audience could tell what was going on during the 23rd Budoukai just fine.
Really, by the time we get Super Saiyan Goku VS Freeza, the fights should be lasting fractions of a microsecond.
At least we have Goku and Beerus fighting at what I believe to be near light speed in BoG.

Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!Man.
That conversation got crazy while I was gone. Good thing I'm Captain Scarlet now. Indestructible and all that.
Huh. I never realized just how inconsistent the flash stepping and moving so fast no one else can see you is in this series. I suppose that's just how it is.
One Strip! One Strip!

Hell of a pagetopper.
