I would not be surprised if this anime ended after the whole conflict with Manaria is over, mostly because I don't think they've announced a voice actor for Lily, and she is introduced after Manaria. I'd be happy to be proven wrong, but I'm not holding my breath.
I certainly hope that this anime gets a second season, since I really want to see Yu's arc animated. I'm at least happy that the manga adaptation is at that part of the story.
"I squirm, I struggle, ergo I am. Faced with death, I am finally, truly alive."I recently learned of an upcoming game called Witch and Lilies, which seems to be a dungeon-crawling RPG with romantic relationship between girls as a major theme. From the trailer, it looks like the devs took inspiration from Etrian Odyssey and Miitopia, only with a yuri spin to it.
Dungeon Clawler lol.
Artstyle reminds me of Dragalia Lost. I need it! Inject it into my veins!
You are not alone. Not going to lie, I kind of like the dissonance between the playable character artstyle and the monster artstyle.
"I squirm, I struggle, ergo I am. Faced with death, I am finally, truly alive."Apologies for the double post, but the scans for the I'm In Love With the Villainess manga got to the part where Misha confronts Rae about how strange she's been acting since the beginning of the story, and where Rae opens up more to Claire on why she's so adamant about Yu's situation.
Also, I just realized I never really put too much thought into what Salas looked like, so when he showed up in the manga, my thought was "...Huh."
"I squirm, I struggle, ergo I am. Faced with death, I am finally, truly alive."It's very chill.
Although, it's less dumb meeting oblivious, and more No Social Skills meeting Cloudcuckoolander. Sure, being oblivious is Shimamura's problem, but Adachi's isn't being dumb, it's anxiety.
I'd say even then, Shimamura's is not so much oblivious so much as very conflict-avoidant. It's like, Shimamura has the family and friends Adachi never got, but she just passively takes it all as is. She's not depressed, but she's not going out of her way either. And Adachi suddenly being the big thing on her mind is slowly freaking her the fuck out.
I like how even in vol 1 so far, she says she can get over Adachi not showing up in their spot, a month after following Adachi home because she's not answering her calls.
So the manga version of I'm In Love With the Villainess got to the point where Yu finally reveals the truth to the entire kingdom. This was a moment I was looking forward to seeing, and it did not disappoint.
Also, I just learned that Volume 5 of The Magical Revolution of the Reincarnated Princess is now available at my local bookstore. I don't think I've read Volume 4 yet, though, so I have to find that first.
"I squirm, I struggle, ergo I am. Faced with death, I am finally, truly alive."Talking about Ii LWV and Adachi and Shimamura. It really annoys me than they adapt some GL series but stop before any actual GL staff or plot starts. Really, I would rather see a more rushed adaptation tha this.

I actually liked Rae and Claire's little magic fight (I forget which episode it's in). Maybe that's the power of gayness boosting it
