ah why not, here's another

  • Opening Credits: “You're My Best Friend [Backing Track Mix, 2011]" by Queen (aaaaa this song is perfect, not even just for this scene but it's also just a perfect pop song in general)

  • Waking Up: "Ripchord" by Rilo Kiley (Jenny Lewis says to wake up because nobody loves you)

  • First Day Of School: “Half Steering Half Eating Ice Cream" by Spymob (I mean, it's upbeat enough for a scene like this)

  • Falling In Love: “Crazy Bones" by The Four Freshmen (oh myyyyyyyyyyyy)

  • Fight Song: “Shannon" by Buckets Of (ah, yes, the typical hillbilly bar brawl scene)

  • Breaking Up: “So Long, Lonesome" by Explosions in the Sky (couldn't have picked a better song if I tried, to be honest; super somber, beautiful instrumental)

  • Prom: "Rock and Roll Music" by The Beatles (funny, I would've sooner expected "Twist and Shout")

  • Life's OK: “Sense of Doubt" by David Bowie (EYE-RONNIE)

  • Mental Breakdown: “Beans On Pizza" by Grouplove (ahahahaha, I love this song, and this totally fits here)

  • Driving: “Danny Boy (Live) (Prev. Unrel.)" by The Notations (an a cappella version of an old folk song, sure, why not)

  • Flashback: “(You're The) Devil In Disguise" by Elvis Presley (man, I must be flashing back to some awful times)

  • Getting Back Together: “People Get Ready" by Ladysmith Black Mambazo with Phoebe Snow (interesting choice, but good cover regardless, also it makes it more apparent that John Mayer totally ripped this song off for "Waiting on the World to Change")

  • Wedding: “Some-Body-Funk" by Skankfunk from Air Gear (what a groovy wedding)

  • Birth Of Child: “The Four Seasons (Le quattro stagioni), Op. 8 - Violin Concerto No. 4 in F Minor, RV 297, "Winter" (L'inverno): II. Largo" as performed by Emmy Verhey, Camerata Antonio Lucio and Alun Francis (y'know what, some Vivaldi for the birth of a child sounds magical, though the Winter part of the suite is an odd choice)

  • Final Battle: “Midnight City" by Casino Affair
    (A E S T H E T I C
    B A T T L E)

  • Death Scene: “Lucy Can't Dance" by David Bowie (wow, two different eras of Bowie in one movie, we're really covering our bases here)

  • Funeral Song: “Miss Gradenko" by The Police (what a weird choice, hell, this is on the most popular and critically acclaimed Police album but does anyone even care about it? I mean I think it's alright and the hook tends to get stuck in my head every so often, but still, who even cares about this song?)

  • End Credits: “Saturn Valley Caverns" by Keiichi Suzuki, Hirokazu Tanaka, Hiroshi Kanazu, Toshiyuki Ueno from EarthBound
...okay, that'd be a super short credits sequence, so let's add in a second credits song: "Kitchen" by The Lemonheads (it's a shame about these credits)

  • The Stinger: “Moon Dreams [Live]" by Miles Davis (a very strung out way to end, but I like it)

Insert witty 'n clever quip here.

I created a special playlist of all my favorite albums. The list has 273 songs and is 20 hours long.

  • Opening Credits - "Sheep" by Pink Floyd
  • Waking Up - "Daydreaming" by Radiohead (slightly fitting, thanks to the dreaming aspect, but lyrics wise... just no)
  • First Day of School - "Cherub Rock" by Smashing Pumpkins
  • Falling in Love - "Any Colour You Like" by Pink Floyd
  • Fight Song - "Disarm" by Smashing Pumpkins (used my skip here because "Here Comes the Sun" just doesn't fit)
  • Breaking Up - "The Fool" by Neutral Milk Hotel
  • Prom - "Leper Messiah" by Metallica (badass prom, huh?)
  • Life's OK - "The National Anthem" by Radiohead (ha ha you're lying to yourself)
  • Mental Breakdown - "Casimir Pulaski Day" by Sufjan Stevens
  • Driving - "Oh Sister" by Neutral Milk Hotel
  • Flashback - "Two-Headed Boy" by Neutral Milk Hotel (I have only two of their releases in this playlist what is going on)
  • Getting Back Together - "Weissensee" by Neu! (strange choice, but okay...)
  • Wedding - "It's Summertime" by Flaming Lips
  • Birth of Child - "Good Morning Good Morning" by The Beatles
  • Final Battle - "Present Tense" by Radiohead (this has got to be a boring battle)
  • Death Scene - "Waitin' for a Superman" by Flaming Lips
  • Funeral Scene - "Reservations" by Wilco
  • End Credits - "Luna" by Smashing Pumpkins (these last two are actually good choices)

and i did it again because why not

  • Opening Credits - "Bodysnatchers" by Radiohead
  • Waking Up - "Shine On You Crazy Diamond (Parts I-V)" by Pink Floyd (well that's one way to start the day)
  • First Day of School - "The King of Carrot Flowers, Pts 2 & 3" by Neutral Milk Hotel (IIIIIIIIII LOOOOOOOVE YOOOOOOUUUUU JESUUUUUS CUH-RIIIIIIIIST)
  • Falling in Love - "Poor Places" by Wilco (no. just no.)
  • Fight Song - "Nude" by Radiohead
  • Breaking Up - "A Baby for Pree" by Neutral Milk Hotel
  • Prom - "Smells Like Teen Spirit" by Nirvana (skip used)
  • Life's OK - "Geek U.S.A." by Smashing Pumpkins
  • Mental Breakdown - "Decks Dark" by Radiohead
  • Driving - "April 8th" by Neutral Milk Hotel, Ferris Wheel on Fire version (where are you driving to?! 0_0)
  • Flashback - "She Came In Through the Bathroom Window" by The Beatles
  • Getting Back Together - "Jacksonville" by Sufjan Stevens
  • Wedding - "Hang On to Yourself" by David Bowie (sounds like something I'd play at my wedding, sure)
  • Birth of Child - "Within You Without You" by The Beatles
  • Final Battle - "Knives Out" by Radiohead
  • Death Scene - "Identikit" by Radiohead
  • Funeral Scene - "Ego Tripping at the Gates of Hell" by Flaming Lips (what are you implying??)
  • End Credits - "Breaking Glass" by David Bowie

"If you spend all your heart / On something that has died / You are not alive and that can't be a life"

Might as well do another one too.

  • Opening Credits: "Giorgio By Moroder" by Daft Punk (Starting off with nine minutes of opening credits seems like something I would do, so why not.)
  • Waking Up: "Caramel" by Blur (And now an nearly 8-minute long waking up sequence. This is gonna be a long movie.)
  • First Day Of School: "Ten Cent Pistol" by The Black Keys (Can't say I like the implications here.)
  • Falling In Love: "In My Room" by The Last Shadow Puppets (Alright, that's perfect-ish.)
  • Fight Song: "Bow" by Kasabian (skip used, I got a pretty lame electronic Bloc Party song at first. But yeah, this works.)
  • Breaking Up: "Dead Man" by Pearl Jam (I do have a knack for overdramatizing things, so sure.)
  • Prom: "Something Like Happiness" by The Maccabees (YES)
  • Life's OK: "(Girl We Got A) Good Thing" by Weezer (Yep, that's about right.)
  • Mental Breakdown: "Whoo! Alright-yeah... Uh-Huh" by The Rapture (Can't say I've ever really listened to this album, but judging from the title, this works.)
  • Driving: "The Ministry of Defence" by PJ Harvey (Um, no. Unless I'm driving through the remains of a war-torn Kosovo, I'm not feeling this.)
  • Flashback: "Poppy" by Tv on the Radio (Yes please.)
  • Getting Back Together: "Just" by Radiohead (Hell yeah)
  • Wedding: "Piss Off" by FFS (Oh boy, not sure my wife will appreciate that)
  • Birth Of Child: "Alone" by Pearl Jam (Come on, Lost Dogs is probably the Pearl Jam album I've listened to the least, but it's the only one I keep getting songs from.)
  • Final Battle: "The Haunting Idle" by The War On Drugs (That can't be an exciting battle.)
  • Death Scene: "Moebius Trip" by Monomyth (Great.)
  • Funeral Song: "Citizen Erased" by Muse (Sure, just blow the faces off everyone who attends my funeral. "I used to be SO FREEEEEEEEEE."
  • End Credits: "My Wave" by Soundgarden (Pretty damn good. This was my best run yet probably.)

I feel like the implication behind this list isn't necessarily that you're using the whole song. Most of the time when movies use popular music, they don't tend to use the whole thing, just an excerpt to set the mood or tone of a scene, unless that song is the point of the scene.

Insert witty 'n clever quip here.

Okay! Time for the trashiest Life Story Ever!

WENDY'S LIFE STORY

  • Opening Credits: Passion - Utada Hikaru, KINGDOM Orchestra Instrumental Version (Wow, an opening for an opening. How fitting!)
  • Waking Up: g a r d e n - DM DOKURO (ah yes, waking up to an extra demonic remix of an already demonic song of f e a r. Already I'm going to hell.)
  • First Day Of School: Hikari - Utada Hikaru (Another Utada Hikaru song?!)
  • Falling In Love: Throw it in the Bag - MC Melod¥ Doll (Obviously, I would fall in love with the latest Angelic Pretty print and not an actual person)
  • Fight Song: Look To The Sky - System S.F. feat Anna (Eh...too techno for a fight song)
  • Breaking Up: 100 Years in Darkness - Steampianist (I guess?? If you stretched the meaning of it and made it more symbolic it might work?)
  • Prom: Count My Mood - Arm Sleeves P (Somehow, I was appointed DJ at my own prom, and picked an awful song to whip nae nae to)
  • Life's OK: Formalin Sea - Deadball P (NON NOONO NOTHING IS OKAY IN THIS SONG N O T H IN G IS)
  • Mental Breakdown: Sis Puella Magica Orchestra version - ICE (...kinda fitting to be honest)
  • Driving: Caramelldansen (Speedycake Remix) - Caramell (I still have this song on here?? Why didn't it give me any of the eurobeat on here??)
  • Flashback: When a Man Cries - The Divine Comedy (I GUESS??)
  • Getting Back Together: Shut Up and Dance - Walk the Moon (oh yeah I can jam to this)
  • Wedding: Shadowcatcher, Movement II. Among the Aspens - Eric Ewazen (oooh...tribal)
  • Birth Of Child: Shiokara Bushi, Yunosuke remix as sung by Denki Sai (I don't even know how to feel about this one)
  • Final Battle: Spicaterrible - Kotori Minami (Lyrics Hata Aki, Composed Fujisue Miki) (FINALLY A LOVE LIVE SONG, I THOUGHT WE'D NEVER FIND ONE- and the most fitting for a fight scene too!)
  • Death Scene: Mommy feat Daina - Krypt Creeper/Eyeris (that's...creepy)
  • Funeral Song: Paradise - Coldplay (sounds introspective tbh)
  • End Credits: Luna (Nightmare Mode) - Eurobeat Brony (Well...)

I was expecting a lot more of my trashy idol music to pop up in here but OH WELL.

EMMA'S LIFE STORY:

Opening Credits: Life On The Nickel- Foster The People (Was this movie made on drugs? Christ.)

Waking Up: Hollow Moon (Bad Wolf) - AWOLNATION (*sings into hairbrush* MOTHERFUCKER, I'L BE BACK FROM THE DEAD SOON!)

First Day Of School: Island In The Sun- Weezer (My school is not this peaceful, but alright.)

Falling In Love: She Came In Through The Bathroom Window- The Beatles (I'm straight, but otherwise this is pretty good...)

Fight Song: Secrets- One Republic (Anything involving One Republic is automatically not a fight song. Sorry, nope.)

Breaking Up: Kristy, Are You Doing Okay? - The Offspring (Awww, this is just sad.)

Prom: Wake Up- AWOLNATION (Lots of AWOL today. Great song, though.)

Life's OK: Trip Switch- Nothing but Thieves (Yeah, this is a good happy rock song.)

Mental Breakdown: Migrane- Twenty One Pilots (Most appropriate song yet! Nice job, Spotify!)

Driving: The River- Imagine Dragons (I might have chosen some Arcade Fire or No Devotion for a somber drive, but this is an alright tune.)

Flashback: Carissa- Sun Kil Moon (From the king of melancholy heritage flashbacks himself.)

Getting Back Together: 10,000 Summers- No Devotion (Geoff Rickly actually got his girlfriend back with this song. This is a good sign.)

Wedding: Dollhouse- Melanie Martinez (....well then. I suppose this was not a happy marriage?)

Birth Of Child: Wild Heart- Bleachers (Nice happy music. Good. [up] Apparently I'll need it.)

Final Battle: American Beauty/American Psycho- Fall Out Boy (The lyrics don't fit, but this might be a decent fight song.)

Death Scene: Paint It Black- Rolling Stones (I swear to God, that was completely random. I didn't use my skip, it just came up with that!)

Funeral Song: Planetary (GO!)- My Chemical Romance (This IS probably what my friends would play in my honor, let's be real here. I hang out with too many emos.)

End Credits: Yellow Light- Of Monsters And Men (*cries*)

I enjoy doing this way too much.

  • Opening Credits: “8th Avenue Serenade" by Green Day (Not a bad opener, also I forgot how much this musically sounds like an emo song)

  • Waking Up: "Now and Forever" by Carole King (what a saccharine-sounding breakup song to wake up to)

  • First Day Of School: “Clarabella" by The Beatles (school won't let me be her baby)

  • Falling In Love: “It Is Is It?" by Pas (so what am I falling in love with a yandere or something?)

  • Fight Song: “Writtin' Rhymes" by Timbaland and Magoo (what a weirdly smooth beat to be beaten to)

  • Breaking Up: “On the Way" by Eric Johnson (this is hilariously dissonant and cheery for a breakup scene)

  • Prom: "I'm a Panic Bomb, Baby!" by Bomb the Music Industry! (wow, this is an awesome prom)

  • Life's OK: “Dr. Livingstone, I Presume" by The Moody Blues (surprisingly fits, sorta)

  • Mental Breakdown: “The Pallisers" by Herb Chappell (THIS WORKS AMAZINGLY, cheery classical music for a mental breakdown)

  • Driving: “Sunloathe" by Wilco (calm, peaceful drive while hiding from the sun; feels like a slightly suicidal drive, though, also I didn't realize Wilco sounded so much like OK Computer-era Radiohead)

  • Flashback: “Little Prelude In C Major" as performed by Karl Brazda & Philharmonia Slavonica (I like this for scoring a short flashback scene)

  • Getting Back Together: “Turn! Turn! Turn! (To Everything There Is A Season) [Live]" by Pete Seeger (this works amazingly; "a time to cast away stones")

  • Wedding: “Toute Cette Histoire" by Louise Attaque (what a grungey wedding)

  • Birth Of Child: “I Got Rhythm" by Judy Garland (my child came out of the womb tap dancing)

  • Final Battle: “[Theme from] New York New York" by Bill Lanphier (...what a demented cover; I kinda like the idea of this being played over a battle scene, though)

  • Death Scene: “Santa Ana" by Bruce Springsteen (IS THIS SONG ACTUALLY ABOUT A FUNERAL? *a couple verses later* oh, no it's not, oh, that's a hella mournful sounding opening for such an upbeat song)

  • Funeral Song: “Smells Like Teen Spirit" by The Flying Pickets (AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH I love it; if you don't know this version of this song, please look it up, because it's certainly something)

  • End Credits: “There She Goes Again" by Vitamin String Quartet (I'd love for my movies to have the VSQ throuhout their entirety, tbh)

  • The Stinger: “Here, wait a minute! Damn it!" by Cloudkicker (this stinger just kinda punches you in the face, don't it)

  • Opening Credits: “A Book of Love Stories" by The Killing Moon (actually does have a very "opening" feel to it, despite being the fourth song on its EP)

  • Waking Up: "He's From Goshen" by The Electric Amish (I must have been waking up to a morning zoo radio show—this is a parody of "Sweet Emotion" with bad jokes about the Amish and really bad vocal production)

  • First Day Of School: “Board ~ Starship Mario" by Koichi Sugiyama from Fortune Street (these synth horns are getting on my nerves and making me less want to go to school)

  • Falling In Love: “A Simple Desultory Philippic (Or How I Was Robert McNamara'd Into Submission)" by Paul Simon (I forgot how much more I enjoy the Simon & Garfunkel version of this song—this version just sounds like bad standup comedy—not that the other version doesn't also give a similar impression; anyway, I guess I fell in love at a folk club in the '60s)

  • Fight Song: “Dancing At The Foot Of Angels" by Ugly Americans (why do I always get smooth, slow, slightly sultry songs for fight songs)

  • Breaking Up: “Eatin' My Heart Out" by Elastic No-No Band (huh, an acoustic, upbeat, country folk-styled breakup song, surprisingly works)

  • Prom: "Ticket To Ride (1965)" (live at the Hollywood Bowl) by The Beatles (yeah, all that screaming sounds accurate to my prom; also, wow, Ringo is putting in zero effort on those drums for most of it)

  • Life's OK: “Let's Put Out The Lights" by Mel Henke (life's okay because I had a one night stand with a really shrewish lady)

  • Mental Breakdown: “Sweet Escape" by Gwen Stefani feat. Akon (honestly, I like the use of this song for a mental breakdown)

  • Driving: “Resuscitate the Worm" by Sacchrine Trust (seems more like a drunk driving song)

  • Flashback: “Happy Birthday, Broken Heart" by Barry Mann (WOW, THIS WORKS AMAZINGLY ACTUALLY, also this song has the same melody as like 4000 other songs from the '50s)

  • Getting Back Together: “Oh Father" by Madonna (a mournful song about getting away from an abusive father...sure why not for getting back together; never actually listened to this song before now, though, and this is fantastic)

  • Wedding: “Band 6" by The Monkees (wat)

  • Birth Of Child: “God Only Knows [Live]" by Brian Wilson (oh crap, this would fit way better for the wedding because some of the lyrics are a bit weird sung from a parent to a child)

  • Final Battle: “Let Her Know" by Big Sandy & His Fly-Rite Boys (an Elvis Presley-esque number about expressing your feelings to a girl you take an interest in...I mean I guess to be fair, that's kinda like a final battle for some people)

  • Death Scene: “Driven To Tears" by The Police (why yes, death does drive people to tears, thank you, Sting)

  • Funeral Song: “Cantata No.133: Ich freue mich in dir (3rd Day of Christmas), BWV133: vi. Chorale: Wohlan, so will ich mich" as performed by Vienna State Opera Orchestra, Vienna Chamber Choir & Michael Gielen (ironic, a piece about birth in a scene about death)

  • End Credits: “Could It Be Another Change" by Sean Kelly (I like this as an end credits song, very light, very nostalgic while simultaneously "looking toward the future")

  • The Stinger: “I'll Be You" by The Replacements (interesting song to end off on)

Insert witty 'n clever quip here.

Using here a playlist I put together to test streaming last night.

  • Opening Credits: “...Baby One More Time" by Fountains of Wayne (a bit of a languid, mournful cover, somehow)

  • Waking Up: "The Ballad of El Goodo" by Big Star (there ain't no bed going to turn me 'round)

  • First Day Of School: “Starman" by David Bowie (didn't know what time it was / was late for the bu-u-us)

  • Falling In Love: “Please Please Me" by The Beatles (whoa, dude, think you're being a bit forward there with your approach)

  • Fight Song: “Goodbye Moonmen" by Jemaine Clement (ha, this is actually super fitting)

  • Breaking Up: “Snowdin Town" by toby fox (what a cheery little town in which to break up, guess I can hang out at Grillby's to drown my sorrows)

  • Prom: "Team Plasma Battle" by Drpez 12 (prom was great until the terrorists showed up)

  • Life's OK: “Kiss Off" by Violent Femmes (y'know, I don't think it sounds like life is okay here)

  • Mental Breakdown: “Dummy!" by toby fox (eh, you know what, the original context of this song was kind of a mental breakdown anyway, so I'll accept it)

  • Driving: “Vremya Luny" by Аквариум (so the lyrics seem to be hinting at an existential crisis and wanting to make a change, works for driving I suppose)

  • Flashback: "PEPSIMAN" BY JAMES & GANG (PEPSIMAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA)

  • Getting Back Together: “Feel" by Big Star (uh I'm pretty sure this is a breakup song)

  • Wedding: “Twist and Shout" by The Beatles (okay, let's be honest, this is totally a song you'd hear at a wedding party)

  • Birth Of Child: “Here Comes the Sun" by The Beatles (WHAAAAAT, THIS FITS SO WELL)

  • Final Battle: “The Ballad of John and Yoko" by The Beatles (this got suddenly very Beatles-heavy here; to be fair, though, the way things are going, they're gonna crucify me)

  • Death Scene: “Suffragette City" by David Bowie (hey man / aw just let me die)

  • Funeral Song: “Rebel Rebel" by David Bowie (rebel rebel / you are now dead)

  • End Credits: “Alone Together" by Aivi & Surasshu (surprisingly bubbly ending credits music for what just happened)

  • The Stinger: “Theme for an Endless Romance" by Aivi & Surasshu (I feel like these last two should be reversed here)

now using songs that came up when I was playing GTA IV the past couple days with my own music.

  • Opening Credits: “Leo" by Failure (a good way of setting the tone)

  • Waking Up: "Juno" by Tokyo Police Club (but this song has tons of lyrics hinting at being tired and going to sleep)

  • First Day Of School: “I'll Be Rested When the Roll is Called" by Blind Roosevelt Graves (Well, fitting)

  • Falling In Love: “It's Only Love Doing its Thing" by Barry White (maybe a bit hot and heavy for a school setting, no PDA allowed)

  • Fight Song: “Blowin' in the Wind" by Elvis Presley (Yeah, Elvis did a cover of this song, who knew? It's weird.)

  • Breaking Up: “The World is Filled" by The Notorious B.I.G. ("The world is filled, with pimps and hoes / We'll just talk about those I knows")

  • Prom: "London Dungeon" by The Misfits (damn, prom got awesome)

  • Life's OK: “DJ Hero" by JD Z-Trip (yeah this sounds neutral enough for Life's OK)

  • Mental Breakdown: "Whenever Wherever Whatever" by Maxwell (eh)

  • Driving: “Taking Time Takes Time" by Pteradon (link since it seems impossible to google this song, but anyway this fits super well)

  • Flashback: "A-Punk" by Vampire Weekend (never been the biggest fan of this particular song of theirs)

  • Getting Back Together: “That's the Way it Is" by Céline Dion (Ever notice how much this song and a lot of songs from its era sound like songs from a 4kids Pokémon soundtrack?)

  • Wedding: “Under the Milky Way" by The Church (what a moody wedding scene)

  • Birth Of Child: “Penny Lane (Rarities Mix)" by The Beatles (the trumpet signals birth)

  • Final Battle: “It's Working" by MGMT (intense enough to work)

  • Death Scene: “Provider" by N.E.R.D (I mean it starts out with a goodbye so)

  • Funeral Song: “Remedy" by The Black Crowes (wow, what an awful funeral)

  • End Credits: “Video Girl" by Jonas Brothers ("OMG did u hear i'm dating the ending credits, it's SOOO HOT)

  • The Stinger: “Change Your Mind" by The Killers (I like it, but not sure it fits there)

Insert witty 'n clever quip here.

  • Waking Up: Lucas Hamming - Never Let You Down (I can dig it.)

  • First Day Of School: Slaves - Do Something ("Your worries and your fears manipulating you" is a pretty apt first lyric for a first day of school.)

  • Falling In Love: Balthazar - Blues For Rosann (This seems like more of a break-up song, but I can live with it)

  • Fight Song: Queens Of The Stone Age - Better Living Through Chemistry (That's gotta be a drug-induced fight then.)

  • Breaking Up: dEUS - Intro (I always like to soundtrack my break-ups with excerpts from French educational tv-programs)

  • Final Battle: Smashing Pumpkins - Silverfuck (This is great battle music.)

  • Death Scene: The White Stripes - The Same Boy You've Always Know (This sounds sad enough, I suppose.)

  • Funeral Song: Iggy Pop - Paraguay (This is a really, really angry song. Perfect for a funeral)

  • End Credits: Deftones - Prayers/Triangles (Great.)

  • The Stinger: The Last Shadow Puppets - Used To Be My Girl (This definitely has a mysterious feel to it, which makes it a suitable Stinger song.)

Well, I haven't done one of these in a long time. My taste in music, not surprisingly, is still terrible. The only change is more artists and more video game and anime music.

Opening Credits: Step Right Up- The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus (Eh, could be worse)

Waking Up: Kami-iro Awase- Binaria (from the Dangan Ronpa 3 anime. This could potentially work)

First Day Of School: Trigger Happy Havoc- Masafumi Takada (which is from the Danganronpa OST and, of course, does not bode well)

Falling In Love: This is How I Disappear- My Chemical Romance (uh...)

Fight Song: Snow Halation- u's (I don't think I can top this as far as unfitting music goes)

Breaking Up: It Was You- The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus (Again, not sure how I feel about this)

Prom: Beat in Angel- u's (A bit too fast for a prom song, but okay)

Life's OK: Vermillion Carousel- Sentive (This honestly works better as a fight song)

Mental Breakdown: Stronger than You- Estelle (NOPE)

Driving: You're Gonna Go Far, Kid- The Offspring (This one could potentially work)

Flashback: Garasu No Hanazono- u's (Apparently this is some sort of romantic flashback)

Getting Back Together: Cat and Mouse- The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus (okay?)

Wedding: Miss Jackson- Panic! At The Disco (I'm pretty sure the woman in this song is one that sleeps around, which doesn't bode well for this marriage)

Birth Of Child: Quietus- 999: 9 Hours, 9 Persons, 9 Doors (I guess that triggers a bad ending)

Final Battle: Famous Last Words- My Chemical Romance (Yeah, I can dig this)

Death Scene: Headstrong- Trapt (A little late for a fight song, don't you think?)

Funeral Song: Mr. Monokuma After Class- Masafumi Takada (Wow, some funeral)

End Credits: Thnks Fr Th Mmrs- Fall Out Boy (Um...)

If someone picked this specific set of music for any movie, I'm pretty sure I'd fire them on the spot. For whatever reason, my phone decided to try and find the most inappropriate song it could for a lot of these and succeeded.

Life's OK: (Skip used) Shop (Undertale OST)- Toby Fox

Flashback: Shannon's Funeral (LOST Season 2 OST)- Michael Giacchino

Getting Back Together: Wrong Enemy?! (Undertale OST)- Toby Fox

Wedding: Remembrance of the Daleks Suite- Keff Mc Culloch

Funeral Song: Respite- you guessed it, the same as above

End Credits: The Choice- oh gee I wonder who/what it is!

So thigs were fine for a little bit there but then Undertale came in and ruined everything.

Opening Credits: While My Guitar Gently Weeps - The Beatles (Damn. This isn’t gonna be good.)

Waking Up: Nothing Else Matters - Metallica (How the fuck am I supposed to feel about this?)

Fight Song: The Man Who Sold the World - Nirvana (Hell yeah!)

Breaking Up: Lay Down Sally - Eric Clapton (That doesn’t make any fucking sense whatsoever.)

Life’s OK: I Won’t Back Down - Tom Petty (Finally something appropriate. Also RIP Tom.)

Mental Breakdown: Ball and Biscuit - The White Stripes (What? Why?)

Driving: (Don’t Fear) The Reaper - Blue Oyster Cult (Okay. I’m fine with that.)

Flashback: Hey Fear - Rich Robinson (That’s actually pretty cool. I could see it.)

Getting Back Together: Black Magic Woman - Santana (That’s cool but weird.)

Wedding: Wake Me Up When September Ends - Green Day (Doesn’t sound like a good time.)

Birth Of Child: Myxomatosis - Radiohead (HAHAHAHAHA!)

Final Battle: Jack and Sally Montage - Vitamin String Quartet (Okay…)

Death Scene: Silk - Wolf Alice (Pretty touching.)

Funeral Song: Lola - The Kinks (What. The. Fuck.)

This is going to be a weird fucking movie.

(Before I start, I really like Mental As Anything, which will quickly become fairly evident here)

MURATAKU'S LIFE STORY

Opening Credits: One Little Slip - Barenaked Ladies (Sounds about right...)

Waking Up: Nigel - Mental As Anything (Considering this is a song about a dead guy nobody really liked...ouch)

First Day Of School: Shake Off Your Sandals - Mental As Anything ("...and come back to bed." ...I question my family situation here.)

Falling In Love: (skip used) Little Lion Man - Mumford & Sons (Goody, crappy relationship ahoy!)

Wedding: Don't Dream It's Over - Crowded House (It's a bit of a worry if we've got this song at the wedding)

Final Battle: That Girl - Mental As Anything (Fighting a nasty girl who hates me. Fair enough)

Death Scene: Ex's & Oh's - Elle King (Murdered by exes?)

Funeral Song: Live It Up - Mental As Anything (Someone's crying, someone else is comforting them. Sure. But who gets stood up at a funeral?)

End Credits: Resurrection Shuffle - Jimmy Barnes Feat. The Living End (Hah! I LIVE!)

Wedding: Frou-Frou Foxes in Midsummer Fires by Cocteau Twins (I hope the Wedding happens in the evening. It would make this song better)

Final Battle: Collude-Intrude by Company Flow (Fighting up in Brooklyn)

Death Scene: Super Rich Kids by Frank Ocean (Died falling off a roof)

Funeral Song: Sweetheart by Suicide (I must have died with my lover)

Well, time to see how my shuffle mix fares:

Opening Credits:Van Halen-Cant Get This Stuff No More (so apparently the credits include me dating a supermodel) Waking Up: Europe-The Final Countdown (well, I suppose it would be a decent clock radio wake up song) First Day of School: Marvelous 3- This Time (works, if you disregard the lyrics) Falling In Love: Megadeth-Lying In State (what kind of love is this?) Fight Song: Motley Crue-You're All I Need (I guess it could be musical dissonance. I'm sure glad THIS wasnt what the love song ended up as) Breaking Up: Shinedown-Cry For Help (and it doesnt sound like a pleasant breakup) Prom: Savage Messiah-Shadowbound (wow, pretty heavy prom) Life's Ok: Warrant-Uncle Tom's Cabin (Well, the acoustic opening works at least) Mental Breakdown: Falconer-Humanity Overdose (yeah, this fits) Driving: Def Leppard-Two Steps Behind (must be after another breakup, unless you use the interpretation that this is a stalker with a crush song, then it gets really creepy) Flashback: Extreme-Money (Cant see how this would work) Getting Back Together: Eminem-Stan (Uh, no, i'm going to cheat and redo this with the next song) Getting Back Together: Bryan Adams-Dont Leave me Lonely (now this fits much better) Wedding: Green Day-Letterbomb (darn it, why do i keep picking extremely innapropriate songs for romantic situations?) Birth of Child: Slick Shoes-Rusty (guess we know what the kids name is, even though "rusty" is never mentioned in the lyrics) Final Battle: Goo Goo Dolls-Disconnected (Works better than you'd expect) Death Scene: Skid Row-18 and Life (sounds like it wont be a heroic sacrifice) Funeral Song: Motley Crue-If I Die Tommorow (I usually skip if the same band comes up twice, but this was just too perfect) Closing Credits: Y&T-All American Boy (Works if we mix with a montage)
