- Broken Pedestal: Jane has had a crush on Paulo Avelino from the start. While Jane is still enamored with Paulo when she meets him in person, by the end of the movie she wants nothing to do with him afterward. Not only is he inconsiderate, but he also sexually assaults her and puts her life as well as his son's life at risk near the end of the movie.

Hello worldAwesomeMusic.Sonic The Hedgehog
- For Sonic's 30th anniversary, Masato Nakamura (the original composer of Sonic the Hedgehog 1 and Sonic the Hedgehog 2) and his band, Dreams Come True, composed "UP ON THE GREEN HILL
"note , a glorious and grand vocal arrangement of his very own Green Hill Zone that even adds an entirely new section to the classic song. Too slow and not Sonic-y enough? Well, Dreams Come True later released the MASADO and MIWASCO version of the song
note , which is a more faithful rearrangement that is just as glorious.
YMMV.Elemental 2023:
- It's the Same, So It Sucks: Even as far back as the teaser's release, many fans and critics have criticized the film for reusing the "What if X had feelings" gimmick (making films with anthropomorphized non humans) that many feel has become increasingly tired due to how overused it has become by Pixar, with many calling it uninspired (it didn't help that it came out right after the likes of Puss in Boots: The Last Wish and Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, both of which were praised for their mature and bold storytelling and animation). The film's premise has also received flak for being a typical Star-Crossed Lovers story that brings little outside of the element gimmick.
- Cliché Storm: A common criticism that many have made towards the film is that outside of the element gimmick, the film is just a typical Star-Crossed Lovers romance film with most of the clichés and tropes associated with that genre present.
- Broken Base: The film's Lighter and Softer tone and low stakes premise compared to other Pixar films. Some don't mind the lack of Pixar's deep, mature, and emotional storytelling and considers the film's lighter tone to be a refreshing change of pace for the studio. Others, however, are disappointed for that very reason, finding the film to be "immature" and considers the low stakes plot to be underwhelming and below what should be expected from a studio like Pixar.

Spawn is considered to be image's answer to both Venom and Ghost Rider from Marvel comics, <- comma with the latter having a similar Backstory of making a deal with the devil <- no comma and the former having a symbiotic suit.
^ Blue Linking Backstory is not an English correction.
Malebolgia is often considered to be this to Marvel's Mephisto, <- comma being a demon lord who made a deal with the protagonist to turn them into a superpowered anti-hero who went on to betray them.
Clown aka Violator is a mix of The Joker (being an evil clown) and Blackheart (evil demon who is the enforcer of a greater demon).
^ Blue Linking The Joker is not an English correction.
Plague Spawn can be considered to be Spawn's version of Carnage, <- comma what with them being a black, red, and evil <- spaces symbiotic entity.
^ Again, you must always have a space after a punctuation mark.

Which is gramatically correct ? "At Lila's orders, she willingly accepts the Deal with the Devil" or "On Lila's orders, she willingly accepts the Deal with the Devil" ?
..story that brings little to the table outside of the element gimmick.
^ You could also change this to "..story that offers little to the table outside of the element gimmick."
...finding the film to be "immature" and considering the low stakes plot...
...the expressive faces and what not come off as unnatural and "ugly" looking...
The Grand Inquisitor is head of the Inquisitorius and Darth Sidious’s right hand. He leads Inquisitors in crushing any opposition to the Empire’s rule, leaving a trail of death whatever they go. Working with Grand Admiral Thrawn, Grand Inquisitor plans to attack rebel base on Yavin IV and wipe rebelion out, while giving Viceroy Gar Saxon idea to provoke another Mandalorian Purge.
^ Since "Grand Inquisitor" is a title, not a name, the word "the" should be added before it each time it's used, the same as it is in the first sentence.
Headmaster is a cruel man in charge of the Inquisitor Academy. Introduced almost shooting a young girl for crying and beating Ezra when the boy protests, Headmaster drops kids into a jungle on Dromund Kaas, making them either come to the Academy in five hours or die. In the Academy, the Headmaster subjects kids to constant mental and physical torture, having no problem with his staff or Inquisitors taking sexual advantage of children, in order to break them and make them into puppets of the Empire. When Ezra and his friends plan to escape, Headmaster shoots Dev Morgan in the gut, making Ezra beg for him to Mercy Kill Dev or watch him suffer for days.
^ You're using Headmaster as if it were a name (like "Joseph"). If it's actually a title (like Grand Inquisitor above), it should have a "the" in front of it too.
Viceroy Gar Saxon is the treacherous Governor of Mandalore Sector, who oppresses his people on the Empire’s behalf and lets Inquisitors steal their children. He falsely befriends and manipulates Sabine into going to Sundari Academy, planing to use the girl as a hostage should her clan turn against him. During the Fifth Uprising, Gar works with the Grand Inquisitor to regain control of Mandalore, uncaring about all Mandalorians who died, even introducing Sabine to an Inquisitor. After Sabine joins The Rebellion, Gar Saxon makes her young brother Tristan one of his commandos, threatening to massacre the whole Wren clan if the boy turns on him. When the Mandalorians continue to prove rebellious, he plans to fake a terrorist attack to kill clan heads and call forth a new Purge.
"At Lila's orders" and "On Lila's orders" mean the same thing, so both of them are correct.

Recap.Black Mirror Loch Henry:
- If It Bleeds, It Leads: Pia changes the subject of their project from bird conservation to the Iain Adair case, saying murders, especially the brutal ones, attract more viewers and prizes than nature documentaries.
- Naughty by Night: Villainous example: the straight-laced housewife Janet is also a torturer, a sadist and a serial killer.
- Torture Cellar: Serial Killer Iain Adair has a torture cellar under his parent's house where he and Davis's parents torture eight people to death.

"Now it's starting to feel like a game!"The Powerpuff Girls S 2 E 8 Mo Job Pet Feud
- Cardboard Prison: Prisons in Townsville are always shown to be bad, given they can never hold any of the recurring villains, but this episode is especially egregious as Mojo breaks out right after he was arrested.
- Complexity Addiction: Mojo develops a laser that can either give a target the combined powers of the Powerpuff Girls, or remove said powers. His plan is to give Princess superpowers and then depower the Powerpuff Girls. Only the former half of the plan was necessary as the empowered Princess proves more than capable of defeating the Powerpuff Girls on her own. Naturally, this plan backfires as trying to fire the laser to depower the girls causes it to get redirected at Princess.
- Curb-Stomp Battle: Mojo makes Princess as strong as three Powerpuff Girls combined, allowing her to defeat them with no difficulty.
- Dumbass Has a Point: While Mojo is the one who comes up with the plan, Princess notices that his laser bounces off reflective surfaces, realizes the Powerpuff Girls are going to reflect it and warns him to fire. She loses points since she only flies in a straight line to dodge it.
- Fiction 500: Princess' father pays Mojo by offering a literal ton of money, and this is implied to be a drop in the bucket for him.
- The Juggernaut: Gaining superpowers makes Princess invincible. The only reason she loses is because the laser that removes powers is redirected at her.
- Nice Job Fixing It, Villain!: Mojo's plan to give Princess superpowers makes her too strong for the Powerpuff Girls. The villains only lose because Mojo attempts to remove the powers of the Powerpuff Girls, and the superpower removing laser he was firing gets redirected at Princess.
- No-Sell: Right after Princess reveals she lured the girls into a trap and has powers, the Powerpuff Girls all wale on her. Their blows have no effect.
The Powerpuff Girls (S2 E12): "Speed Demon"/"Mojo Jonesin'"
- Curb-Stomp Battle: The entire confrontation between Him and the Powerpuff Girls. He lets them pummel him till they exhaust themselves, then shows that nothing they have done has actually hurt him before turning into a giant demon creature. Rather than attacking in return, he calls in the tortured citizens of Townsville who call them out for not being there to protect them, hammering in that he has already won and they cannot defeat him.
- Evil Only Has to Win Once: Without the Powerpuff Girls to stop Him, He has taken over Townsville and likely the rest of the world. Defeating him in the Bad Future is impossible, nothing hurts him, so all the girls can do is return to the present to ensure he never takes over in the first place.
- Gone Horribly Right: Him goes out of his way to hammer into the Powerpuff Girls that he has already won and there is nothing they can do to defeat him. Once they realize it, they return to the present to prevent him from taking over.
- The Juggernaut: Him is completely invincible in the Bad Future. The Powerpuff Girls exhaust themselves pummelling Him, and their attacks do nothing. He does not even bother fighting back, he simply turns into a giant demon to show how outclassed they are.
- Just Toying with Them: Him confronts the Powerpuff Girls to gloat about how he has taken over without them being around to stop him. He doesn't bother to hit them back when they attack Him, because nothing they do hurts Him. After proclaiming he has already won he turns into a giant monster for no reason other than to hammer in that they cannot win.
- Nice Job Fixing It, Villain!: Because Him insisted on breaking the Powerpuff Girls by showing they cannot defeat him and how they failed to protect Townsville, they get the message and return to the present
- Sanity Slippage: Whatever torture Him inflicted on the citizens of Townsville in the fifty years the Powerpuff Girls were gone has taken a toll on their sanity. The professor has lost it so much that he thinks the girls are hallucinations when he sees them.
The Powerpuff Girls (S2E13): "Something's a Ms."/"Slumbering with the Enemy"
- Moral Event Horizon: Sedusa already established herself as an all-around Jerkass in her debut appearance, but she really shows how evil she is in this episode when she disguises herself as Miss Bellum and dresses up Miss Bellum as her with the intent of getting Bellum sent to prison in her place.
The Powerpuff Girls (S3E7): "Jewel of the Aisle"/"Super Zeroes"
- Affably Evil: Steve is a giant monster attacking Townsville, but rather than being out to hurt anybody, he is doing it because monsters who fight the Powerpuff Girls and survive are considered heroes among their kind. After getting fed up with their attempts to be something they are not, he encourages them to be themselves because they do not need to pretend to be something other than who they are to save the day.
The Powerpuff Girls (S3E6): "Three Girls and a Monster"/"Monkey See, Doggy Two"
- Affably Evil: The monster attack Townsville is rampaging kaiju but apparently isn't as bad as it appears since all it takes to stop it is asking it to leave.
- Attack of the 50-Foot Whatever: The monster's size varies depending on the scene, but it is always a giant. At its largest, it crushes city hall with a single footstep.
- Invincible Villain: The giant monster is indestructible, and its rampage is only stopped because Bubbles asks it to leave.
- The Juggernaut: The monster is too powerful to be stopped by fighting and can only be stopped by asking it to leave.
- No-Sell: Nothing the giant monster is hit with does any damage.
- Not Zilla: The giant monster is a huge dinosaur-like creature that walks upright and has a row of spikes going down its back, having all the basic Godzilla appearance traits aside from being orange and having horns.
- Surrounded by Idiots: Bubbles of all people has this reaction to her sisters continuing the same ineffective attacks on the monster over and over again.
The Powerpuff Girls Twas The Fight Before Christmas
- Beware the Nice Ones: Santa is a Nice Guy who wants everyone to be good and is devastated when Princess fools him into thinking everyone in the world besides her was naughty. When he realizes the list was switched, he is pissed and takes away the superpowers he gave her.
- Entitled Bastard: Princess has always been this, but her self entitlement peaks in this episode as despite being reminded of her MANY acts of villainy, she still feels she deserves to get superpowers for Christmas.
- Even Evil Has Standards: Mojo Jojo makes a cameo preparing for Christmas, giving the hint that he has a rule of not doing anything evil on the holiday.
- Godzilla Threshold: In addition to his naughty and nice list, Santa has his Permanent Naughty Plaque that is reserved for people who do something especially abhorrent. Only four names are on it prior to Princess being added.
- Money Is Not Power: After Santa puts Princess on the Permanent Naughty Plaque, she flies off to tell her father in hopes of getting revenge. Santa takes away the powers he gave her and causes her to drop into the snow.
- Reality Warper: In addition to being able to give out presents, Santa can give people superpowers. As Princess learns, he can also take them back.
Big Bang Theory Sheldon Cooper: Jerkass Has a Point: In the episode "The Excelsior Acquisition", Sheldon was fined for driving without a license and running a red light to get Penny to the hospital for her fractured arm. While Sheldon stubbornly refuses to accept he was guilty of the crime and paying the fine, he was right to be angry at Penny that the ordeal was her own fault for denying responsibility for the ticket on her car and throwing him under the bus so she herself wouldn't get into trouble.
Breakout Character: Sheldon became immensely popular amongst the case to the point he's regarded as the most well-known of the main cast. His obnoxiously arrogant behavior, fundamental lack of social skills, tenuous understanding of humor, and difficulty recognizing irony and sarcasm in other people, along with his own quirky demeanor provide with a lot of the humor of his character amongst the main cast. His popularity was so great he even got his own spinoff series, Young Sheldon which features him as a child growing up in Texas.
@DCEU: Gotham Vigilantes charaer file about Renee Montoya (Had to repost this example because I wasn't sure if it got checked or not)
- Of Corsets Sexy: Near the end, Harley rips Renee's shirt open to reveal that she is wearing a corset that Harley made her wear that is actually bulletproof. Harley notices how sexy she looks with that corset.
- Harley: Oooh! Aren't you glad you wore that? Sexy and bulletproof!
