- 'Cheaper By The Dozen'': In order to demonstrate his methods could train ayone to be a fast typist, Frank Galbraith Sr. trains up volunteer children to fast typing, using emulation. - When Buffy confronts a trio of father, son, and grandfather vampires, the grandfather is the first one to attack her and get a stake through the chest. The elderly vampire just straightens up, gripes about "snot-nosed kids" not respecting their elders, and manages to get in one more swing at her with his weapon before turning to dust.
- The final Mêlée à Trois between a group of arrow-shooting fairies, the Scooby Gang, and various vampires (with the latetr two groups swatting at the fairies with blunt instruments).
- Non-Protagonist Resolver: Inspector Monroe and Griz figure out who the culprit is several scenes before Fletch (mostly with evidence they gather themselves) and show up to save the day during the climax when Fletch is about to get shot. They are quick to point out Fletch's Pinball Protagonist status when he tries to say all of them solved the case together.
- Pinball Protagonist: Fletch goes around looking for clues and stirring things up but is Entertainingly Wrong with his summation and needs the police to save his life.
Monroe: We solved the case ... You came barefoot into my office and woke up my child with a list of suspects that Horan wasn't even on! ... You got your ass kicked on the boat and almost got shot in the face. That's what you did.

- He's Just Hiding: Even though Ninth Sister gets decapitated by Cal, the character's previous return from near-certain death on multiple occasions and Made of Iron tendencies cause some fans to hold out a little skepticism about whether they are truly Deader than Dead and won't come back, especially given how the character essentially gets a Death by Cameo despite their earlier prominence.

For Complete Monster
- Diagnosis: Murder:
- "X marks the Murder": Michael Dern is a misogynistic Serial Killer who due to his own self piting has made it his mission in life to hunt down and kill women. Using his job as a has station attendant, Michael charms women into letting him near them before murdering them. Gaining an obsession with police consultant Dr. Mark Sloan, Michael targets his friend Dr. Andrea and gleefully reveals how he plans to kill her. - "Murder x4": Ernst Rogin is the head of Mogul Mail insurance company which acts as a front for his assassination business. Rogin forces terminally ill patients into being his pet assassins or else their insurance won't be paid to their families and is perfectly happy running the lives of desperate people who just want to provide for their families. Rogin's assassins end up cutting a path of destruction across the city from a drive by shooting that kills a woman, a bludgeoned real estate agent and the shooting of a travel sales agent that leads to an entire room taken hostage and threatened. When Rogin is confronted by Dr. Mark Sloan and his son Steve to try and stop his latest killer from taking out their victim, Rogin shrugs and holds it over their heads in an attempt to weasel out of consequences stating that her death "won't be on my conscience. He doesn't have one".

Operating for years, Meeks' operation is only discovered by Dr. Mark Sloan finding discrepancies in his cases and as a result Meeks tries to off him. Framing his old friend Lou as the killer, Meeks frames his death as a suicide in a way to escape punishment. Ultimately when confronted Meeks admits that he kills for the sheer thrill of it.
- The Hardy Boys: Dr. Douglas Carrini is an amoral psychologist obsessed with finding the perfect childhood for kids after his own Parental Abandonment. For over a decade, Carrini has been kidnapping children from flawed but loving parents and sending them to his personal bunker "Happyland" to create the perfect childhood. Carrini has them drugged constantly into submission that leaves the kids in an eternal state of mindlessness and whose horrible effects have led to one child even dying. After one of his patients escape, Carrini orders the deaths of anyone that could discover the truth of his operation leading to the stabbing of the grandfather of one of his victims and death via venomous rattlesnakes of another person looking into the truth. Capturing Frank Hardy for his collection, Carrini tries to gaslight him into dropping the investigation into his crimes and when that fails is fine simply murdering the kids and starting anew. Ultimately despite his claims that he's helping children, Carrini really only cares about forcing his own twisted beliefs on others and shocks even Frank Hardy in how callously he's willing to kill even the kids he says he wants to help.

Haplif frames a refugee ship from Sunrise as enemy combatants leading to the slaughter of everyone onboard and subdjication of the system the refugees flee too. Hired by Jixtus to destroy the Chiss ascendancy, Haplif plans to manipulate a colossal conflict between the various ruling houses to destroy it that will wipe out countless people all so Haplif can profit.

Legends of Idleon: Characters (Mage)
- Fireballs: It can shoot a fireball with a spell.
- Teleportation: It has a teleportation spell, though it can only uses it when walking and it only teleports for a few pixels so it just serves to travel slightly faster.
Grow
- Spiritual Sequel: Invoked for Grow Valley which is officially considered a sequel to Grow Island. It's not a sequel in a story sense since both game don't really have plots. Both games also serve as advertisements for the same company.

"No matter how bad the heroes can get or how bad the situation is, we're sure we can overcome it and get our happy endings..."Not adding this til May 8.
- Broken Base: This is a Sonic game after all, so this is to be expected.
- The Titan bosses. Many fans found them to be one of the major highlights of the game due to their grandiose scale and Awesome Music, while others found the bosses to be boring button mashers who are too reliant on style over substance.
- The plethora of Continuity Nods and the game's tendency to reference past games and other media. Some don't mind it and enjoy the various references to past games, while others found the references to be shoehorned and obnoxious Pandering to the Base.
- The added lore to the Chaos Emeralds, including the reveal that they are extra terrestrial in nature. Some like the added lore and don't mind that the Chaos Emeralds being from space, while others found it to be dumb and for it to ruin the intrigue and mystery of the Chaos Emeralds.
- Dr. Eggman being a father figure to Sage. Some found the relationship to be heartwarming and love a great way to humanize Eggman, while others found the relationship to be forced and underdeveloped, on top of finding the idea of Eggman being a father figure to Sage to be out of character for him, since in past games, he is shown to be a narcissist who doesn't care about anyone but himself, and has previously shown no qualms about hurting children to get his way. That said, some have countered this by arguing that Eggman, while egotistical, has shown to be a fatherly figure to his own creations in the past, particularly with Metal Sonic in cases like the IDW comics, meaning him growing fond of Sage is not entirely out of left field.
- Roger Craig Smith's performance as Sonic has always been a point of contention amongst fans, but it is at its most divisive here, due to Roger's noticeably deeper performance for the hedgehog compared to past games. Some dig the deeper voice and prefers it over his previous performance for being more natural sounding compared to his older performance, which many felt was too "try-hard", while others utterly despise the new vocal performance for lacking energy and not sounding like Sonic, arguing that it it only exacerbates a long-standing criticism that many detractors have had with Roger's performance for years, that being his naturally deeper voice doesn't suit someone who is supposed to be a young teenager.

- Old Cop, Young Cop: The middle-aged Inspector Monroe is a serious and thoughtful analyzer of evidence, while his young assistant Griselda "Griz" is an eager-to-please Bumbling Sidekick who nonetheless is good at finding useful evidence and also shoots the killer in the climax.
