I got a message for this from Negan's entry for Tekken 7 You Have GOT to Be Kidding Me!: His response to Bob declaring "Speed and weight!" while doing his intro and this causes Bob to start crying while Negan gives a "Well that just happened..." look.
Thing is, that's copied from Funny/Tekken: Bob doing his intro, complete with Catchphrase "Speed and weight!" Negan just responds "Speed? You?! (laughs) You better be jokin'!" Bob starts crying and Negan turns away with a "Well, that just happened" expression on his face.
Hi!Thanks Arivne.

- Even Evil Has Standards: Insane and Ax-Crazy martinet or not, Trico balks at the notion of abandoning a hundred pilots to die when his men suggest that the capital ships retreat. He also refused to stop worshipping his gods even when this could have cost him his career if anyone found out (the Empire restricts worship to the state and a few dark side sects), unlike many other Imperials like Grand Admiral Syn.
- In the rewrite of The Secret Warning, a young watchdog who the boys try to have follow the scent of a housebreaker sniffs on the ground, and then goes charging back into the house … to hungrily sniff their refrigerator. Even more hilariously, the dog is a Great Dane and the book was written three years before a far better-known food-obsessed Great Dane began gracing the airways.

Trivia. The Legend Of Zelda The Wind Waker
- No Port for You: The Wind Waker HD, along with the later The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD, are among the few first-party Wii U titles that were not ported to the Nintendo Switch. This also means they're the only 3D mainline Zelda games before The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild to be unavailable on the system in any capacity.note
YMMV.The Legend Of Zelda The Wind Waker:
- Continuity Lock-Out: While playing it is not necessarily required and the game stands well enough on its own that it can be enjoyed without playing it, some aspects of the setting and story won't make a ton of sense unless one is familiar with The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, given that it directly alludes to and builds upon that game's events.
- Tough Act to Follow: While Ganondorf's later appearances are well-liked in their own right, many fans have expressed the opinion they don't stack up to his appearance here due to lacking the complexity and depth he has in this game, which was one of the most widely-praised aspects of the game.
- Fandom Rivalry: Within the fandom itself, there is a fierce rivalry between fans of this game and fans of its successor, The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, due to their contrasting tones and aesthetics (with The Wind Waker being Lighter and Softer and having a unique cartoony aesthetic, and Twilight Princess being Darker and Edgier and having a more realistic looking aesthetic on par with Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask), on top of both games being released for the Nintendo Game Cube. Even today, there are constant debates and arguments over which game is better and which of their tones is better suited for the series.
- Unnecessary Makeover: Many fans largely prefer Tetra over her true identity, Princess Zelda, and hate the design for getting rid of the tanned skin and unique aspects of her character in favor of a more traditional design. It doesn't help that once Tetra becomes Zelda, she gets sidelined hard in the game, going from a badass pirate captain Action Girl to a submissive Damsel in Distress, only showing signs of her former identity in the final confrontation against Ganondorf. It seems Nintendo has caught onto this, given that in Phantom Hourglass she doesn't turn back into Zelda at all and hates it when she is referred to as such by her crew.
- Alternate Character Interpretation: Some fans theorize that Zelda is actually a different character from Tetra who happens to share her body. They often point out how different she looks from Tetra (with their only shared trait being the blonde hair), the different names, her noticeable shift in personality (becoming less snarky and more submissive on par with most other portrayals of the princess), and her not realizing that she is Princess Zelda at all until the king reveals it to her. It helps that in Hyrule Castle, there is a portrait featuring the royal family that features Zelda exactly as depicted in the game, adding to the idea that Tetra and Zelda are different people. There's also the ending, in which Zelda turns back into Tetra once they escape Hyrule and back into the world above. It also helps that in Phantom Hourglass, she refuses to be acknowledged as Zelda and gets angry whenever she is referred to as such, with Spirit Tracks even having a stained portrait of her and not Zelda.
- I Knew It!: Given Sonic's appearance in Lego Dimensions and the release of the LEGO ideas Green Hill set, many fans saw a LEGO Sonic the Hedgehog theme as inevitable. They would be proven correct, as LEGO would go on to announce a Sonic theme on April 19, 2023
YMMV.Mario Kart 8
- Broken Base: While many love the addition of Link, fans are conflicted about the use of his more realistic design (specifically his Skyward Sword and Breath of the Wild design). Some find the design to be out of place in a cartoonish go-karting game, arguing that the more stylized Toon Link would've been better suited for a Mario Kart game, while others are fine with the design and argue that it makes sense to use the more realistic design since it is more widely recognizable, not to mention him being realistic makes him all the more charming.
- Narm Charm: The more realistic Link design looks very out of place in a cartoony racing game like Mario Kart, and it can look ridiculous to see him ride on many of the karts (especially the more small vehicles like the Mr. Scooty
◊), but for many fans, that's precisely part of the charm of having Link be present.

Bloon Tower Defense: Characters (Druid Monkey) (It's similar, but it's not the same example as last time)
- Lightning/Wind Juxtaposition: His top path upgrades allow him to use thunder magic and tosummon tornadoes. The last upgrade of that path allows him to summon electrified tornadoes.
Madness Combat: Character (Deimos)
- Non-Standard Character Design: When he gains his new rock form, his facial cross is still made of straight lines, even though his new form is introduced in the same episode that change the general character artstyle which notably gives characters' facial crosses a sketchy look. So him keeping an old design element ends up making him more non-standard.
Age of Empires 1
- Animation Bump: It's minor, but units introduced in the Rise of Rome expansion have smoother animations than units from the base game.
- Improbable Infant Survival: The BabyPrez chat unit, which is an infant on a tricycle is the only unit in the game that doesn't die when it's out of HPs. It just falls out of the tricycle and cry.
- Non-Lethal K.O.: The BabyPrez chat unit, which is an infant on a tricycle does not die when it's out of HPs, it just falls out of the tricycle and cry, though it still counts as a dead unit.

Thank you Clare
- In multiple scenes, the locals don't blame the main characters for the death of Karin and reject Sinister Minister Pylum's rants blaming them for everything. It's mitigated by how they eventually do form a Torches and Pitchforks mob as things get scarier, though.
- The owner of a seedy cantina is polite and respectful to Tash when she makes a complaint about being threatened by one of his customers. He refuses to take action against that customer (a dangerous mass murderer), but he is still polite and reasonable about it and warns Tash to stay away from the guy.
Tash, Zak, Hoole, and DV-9 achieved Canon Immigrant status in 2021, when the Disney canon featured them in an issue of Star Wars Adventures.
- Doomed Predecessor: In Ghost of the Jedi, as the main cast explore the space station, they find the dead body of a man they chatted with earlier on, and later they find many more bodies of treasure hunters said to have vanished over the past few months. In a twist, none of them are dead, but they look dead due to the Mad Scientist and his essence-stealing machine, with the victims recovering after the machine is deactivated.
- Dwindling Party:
- Often, a group of several minor and often largely unnamed characters (including treasure hunters in Ghost of the Jedi, Rebel commandos in Army of Terror, Asteroid Miners in Spore, Captain Hajj and his repair party in Doomsday Ship, and Platt's smugglers in ''The Hunger) face the same dangers as the main cast and any previously established guest stars. They inevitably gradually experience misfortunes that remove them from the main action until there are few if any of them left. Sometimes, they are only injured or incapacitated, but usually, at least some of them are killed by the main threat.
- In the Backstory of Eaten Alive, Captain Bebo and the other nineteen survivors of a starship crash began vanishing in groups of one to three at a time. About a quarter of them lasted long enough to take refugee in an abandoned laboratory that provided some safety, but some of them left to check their distress beacon and never came back. By the time of the book, only Bebo (the only one who can safely go outside thanks to a protective amulet) and his Not-So-Imaginary Friend Lonni are left of the original twenty. Neither of them makes it to the end of the book.
@ Characters Watchers and Slayers
- Adventure Archaeologist: By the time of her final appearance (the post-season 7 novel Dark Congress), she is exploring the tombs of demons and deities on behalf of the remnants of the Watcher's Council.
- Belligerent Sexual Tension: In Dark Congress, she finds one of her colleagues both insufferable and strikingly handsome, and alternately wants to punch or kiss him as they argue about a course of action.

Film Appearances: Ghidorah, the Three-Headed Monster
The people of Venus, who were savaged by King Ghidorah in the Backstory.- Homeworld Evacuation: The only ones to survive Ghidorah's rampage did so by fleeing their planet.
- Racial Remnant: Some of them conceived Half-Human Hybrid children after going to Earth, but the pureblooded Venusians are long-gone and their remaining descendants are indistinguishable from humans and don't even seem to be aware of their heritage.
- Token Good Teammate: They are the only aliens in the franchise to never have the remotest intention of harming or subjugating anyone on Earth. Part of the reason Ghidorah hurt them so badly was because they were a peaceful people unprepared to defend themsleves.
- Ensemble Dark Horse: Beth and Tom the EMTs are only in one scene (and one additional Deleted Scene) but are very well-liked for being among the more likable and relatively level-headed characters while still having some hilarious Freak Out moments as they flee from the bear.
- He's Just Hiding: Liz, Beth, and Tom all feel like they might have potentially been able to survive their injuries in the ambulance sequence, and Liz does in fact show up alive in the alternate ending.
- Spared by the Cut: Liz seemingly dies from falling out of a moving vehicle in the Final Cut but is seen bandaged, alive, and vengefully hunting the bear in the alternate ending.
- Dr. Parlay Thorp and former Rebel pilot Quip Fargil each only make brief appearances in Millennium Falcon, but are the best-remembered of the Falcon's past owners due to the nature of their past adventures with the ship, and how Fargil was the one to name the ship in the first place.
- Living Weapon Eppon (who has a terrifying range of powers but a fundamentally innocent personality) is one of the best-liked One Shot Characters in the Galaxy of Fear books.

- The Nene Valley Railway is the only heritage railway in the UK to have an official replica of Thomas that is not affiliated with Mattel, as the NVR's Thomas replica had received permission and Approval of God from The Railway Series creator Wilbert Awdry in the 1970s instead of Thomas' later owners, Gullane Entertainment, Hit Entertainment, and Mattel. Because of this, the NVR's Thomas is exempt from the mandates Mattel imposes on other heritage railways officially using Thomas replicas (for example, his face is based on his original Railway Series appearance instead of the depiction in the TV series) and remains the only heritage railway to use Thomas regularly instead of special Day Out with Thomas events (due to the replica predating those events). Hit Entertainment did try to sue the Nene Valley Railway in 2005 due to alleged copyright infringement, but the lawsuit was dropped after they found out about Awdry's involvement.
- Base-Breaking Character: Aloy herself. Some find her to be one of the most well-developed female protagonists in all of gaming, as well as a very likable and Adorkable protagonist, while others view her as a bland Vanilla Protagonist with few stand-out traits. Her base would only shatter further come Forbidden West due to her more aloof personality, with some either hating it and finding her to be unlikable in that game due to constantly rejecting those who are trying to help her, or still enjoying her and arguing that her more aloof attitude in that game is the point given the events that transpired in this game, and that growing out of it is a part of her Character Development.
CommonKnowledge.The Legend Of Zelda:
- It's common knowledge in the fandom that Link's name is meant to represent the "link" between the player and the character, signifying his status as a Blank Slate. However, there is no evidence to support the claim. According to Shigeru Miyamoto in a 2012 interview, the name "Link" is actually a leftover from a scrapped plan for the original NES game that would you have you switch from the past to the future, with the name Link being based on the idea of him traveling back and forth through time (serving as a link between the past and the future). That said, this is contradicted by Hyrule Historia, in which Miyamoto claims that Link got his name due to his ability to "connect people together" and says that "he was supposed to spread the scattered energy of the world through the ages."
