Le Génie des Alpages

  • Comically Missing the Point: One short story is about a woman coming to see the shepherd to asks him if she can get some milk from one of his female sheeps. Romuald, who is a ram, politely proposes himself to be milked, to which the woman sarcastically answers "With horns like these, you sure must give good milk." Romuald then spends the rest of the story assuming that having horns means he produces bad quality milk, not realising that he's unable to produce milk at all since he's a male.
  • Iconic Sequel Character: While Athanase is one of the main character and shares the protagonist role with the dog, he's introduced in the third book to replace the original shepherd.
  • Pale Females, Dark Males: Almost every female sheep in the herd has white wool, while Romuald, one of the only male, has black wool.

Madness Combat: Character (Sanford)

  • Iconic Sequel Character: Along with Deimos, he's one of the main antagonist and is considered an integral part of the series ever since his introduction, but he and Deimos wouldn't be properly introduced until "Aggregation", the ninth episode. While both characters had an early cameo in "Depredation", the fifth episode, their role was minor and we originally didn't even know that the two duos were actually the same.

Zelda CD-i: Trivia

  • Celebrity Voice Actor: The French dub surprisingly has popular voice actor:
    • Link is voiced by Thierry Wermuth, who is known for being the French voice of several South Park main characters and the voice of a lots of other characters from other medias.
    • King Harkinian is voiced by Benoît Allemane, who is known for voicing most of Morgan Freeman's characters.

Jeremiah

  • Omnidisciplinary Scientist: Devon is a brilliant virologist and is also a good radio engineer who sets up communication systems in multiple locations.

Teen Power Inc.

  • In The Case of Crazy Claude, the kids realize someone may be stealing from inventor Claude Craze. (period, superfluous word - cut) Claude's brother and lawyer Chris (remove comma, parentheses) (one of the suspects) (remove comma, parentheses) drives a very expensive sports car and has good suits. He is innocent and his spending ability comes from being a successful lawyer who also inherited money from his father.

  • Honest Corporate Executive: Nick’s father runs a prosperous import business for all kinds of products and while his business rarely gets much attention, (move text, remove comma) when (parentheses) (in The Case of Crazy Claude) (parentheses) he learns that one of his associates is a thief, he helps trap the man, spreads word about his untrustworthiness, and helps the victim of the thefts get the money and success that should have been his all along.

Planetary

  • Gate Guardian: The immortal Doc Brass is first introduced standing guard by a portal to another dimension in case Invading Refugees ever come though and try to slaughter the people of Earth like they did during the incident which killed Brass's team and left him with broken legs which still haven't healed in the thirty years he has been at his vigil.

Proposal Thread

  • Land of the Lost: The t-rex known as Grumpy is a cunning predator who shows no favoritism to humans despite having some understanding of sentience. He becomes a Super-Persistent Predator determined to kill Dr. Rick Marshall after Marshall harshly mocks Grumpy's intelligence and says his brain is the size of a walnut. Grumpy dumps a melon-sized walnut outside of the cave the humans are hiding in to emphasize his understanding of that comment and anger over it, but he also (superfluous word - cut) shows patience while stalking his prey, avoiding dangerous areas and hiding too far away for the humans to notice him. He can see through deceptions meant to avoid him, and forms a brief, coordinated Enemy Mine alliance with a rival dinosaur to try to trap and kill Rick. He finally swallows Rick, (comma) but lets him live after Rick clears up an internal obstruction in his stomach, with Grumpy then acting as The Big Guy for the humans when they fight a group of sinister aliens and developing a mutual respect with Rick before they part ways.

I can't find anything wrong with the English in those examples.

However:

  • Ensemble Dark Horse: Tangle has become popular with Sonic fans. This is due to her being funny, brave and awesome. She even appears outside of comics in the form of plush toys and even appears in two Sonic apps.

^ This is a Partial-Context Example because it doesn't say how Tangle is "a relatively minor or undeveloped character", which is a required part of Ensemble Dark Horse.

^ The word "sheep" is both singular and plural. E.g. one sheep, ten sheep.

While Athanase is one of the main characters and...

^ Whenever you write "one of the...", the noun that follows must be plural.

...while Romuald, one of the only males, has black wool.

^ If you meant to write "while Romuald, the only male", then delete "one of" instead.

...he's one of the main antagonists and has been considered...their roles were minor...the two duos were actually the same.

^ You might want to explain how "the two duos were actually the same", since you only mention two characters, not four.

The French dub surprisingly has popular voice actors. <- period

^ Why is it surprising that the French dub has popular voice actors? If it isn't, then just delete everything after "dub".

[up][up] I'm saying that Sanford and Deimos are later revealed to be the same characters that appeared earlier in the story. Basically, it seems like there are four characters at first, but there are only two, the two duos that appear in multiple point turn out to be a single duo.

It's surprising that the Zelda CD-i games have popular French voice actors because these game have a low budget and were obscure when they came out. Should I add this precision?

Trivia.Goofy:

  • Creator's Pest: Walt Disney reportedly hated Goofy and considered his cartoons to be nothing but "stupid cartoons with gags tied together" akin to many of the cartoons from the 1920s and 30s, which was something he had wanted to distance animation from in favor of more serious and artistic fare. He even considered axing Goofy altogether at one point because of his distaste for him, but he didn't go through with it since it gave his animators (who, unlike Walt, loved Goofy) something to work on. While it's not confirmed to be a contributing factor, it likely didn't help that Goofy was created by then-Disney animator Art Babbitt, who Walt grew to have a hatred for after the former led the Disney Animators' Strike in 1941.

YMMV.Goofy:

  • My Real Daddy: While Goofy had already appeared in a couple of shorts prior, many felt he didn't truly come into his own and become a true Disney star until Art Babbitt came along and completely transformed him from the one-note "Dippy Dawg" stock character that he was in his earlier shorts into the ditzy but lovable goof he is today. Because of how integral Babbitt was to Goofy's overall development, he is often regarded to be Goofy's true creator by most.

VideoGame.WarioWare:

  • Depending on the Artist: The appearance of WarioWare, Inc itself tends to change every time it appears. In Mega Microgame$/Mega Party Game$, it was depicted as a massive building perched at the top of a mountain. However, when it reappeared several years later in D.I.Y, the building would be moved to the ground and was drastically changed to have a smaller and nose-like appearance, and in Get It Together!, the building's appearance would be altered again to look like a tilted office building. The latter implies that this is because they are different buildings, as one of the unlockable gallery pictures showcases Wario overseeing the construction of Get It Together!'s incarnation.

  • Early-Installment Weirdness: Kat and Ana don't share a story in Mega Microgame$ as they do in later games. Instead, Kat is made the central protagonist, with Ana being a supporting character who only appears in the beginning and epilogue cutscenes (due to being a Damsel in Distress). It is only beginning with Twisted that Kat and Ana would start sharing a story like the rest of the duos.

YMMV.Wario Ware

  • Fanon Discontinuity: In the minds of some hardcore Wario Land and Super Mario fans, Wario never founded a video game studio, he never lived in a house in a city, he never had a group of "friends" to do his bidding, and he most certainly never wore a biker outfit. It doesn't help that outside of some minor continuity nods, WarioWare is very isolated from the Wario Land and the Mario series, with little crossover between them (not counting the Nintendo microgames), making it easy to ignore Ware altogether or dismiss it as a non-canon alternate continuity as some have done.

  • Fanon: In Japan, Nintendo would publish a one-shot webcomic starring Ashley, Red, and a group of peculiar monster-based characters not featured anywhere in the games (and Tibby). While it is unknown who these monsters are, as the comic features no dialogue, fans (and even the Super Mario Wiki) theorize they are the so-called "Ashley's Spooky Crew" mentioned in the character credits in Touched!.

Hi fellas. It's me again. Let's have another try.

Character tropes for Total Drama:

    Ferocious Trout
  • Axel: An army brat who can become crazy occasionally./Ax-Crazy: For as-of-yet-unknown reasons, she can adopt a "Commando Zoey-like" persona during challenges, possibly if driven over the edge enough./Perpetual Frowner: She never seems to smile, as far as we have seen.
  • Chase: An easygoing and friendly boy who seems interested in forming friendships during his time on the show./False Friend: Priya accuses him of pretending to be nice so he can recruit her and Millie as his allies, even though that doesn't seem to be his intention./Nice Guy: He seems to be a nice and cordial young man, but his attempt to befriend Millie and Priya results in the latter accusing him of trying to win them over as allies for his game.
  • Damien: A cool guy who dresses in a rapper-like fashion./Wheel o' Feet: Does one while trying to escape from a shark's jaws.
  • Millie: A nice girl who quickly befriends Priya.
  • Priya: A nice girl who quickly befriends Millie.
  • Ripper: A not-so-friendly guy who can react violently if annoyed too much./Butt-Monkey: In almost all challenges he participates, he gets hurt./Meaningful Name: He is called Ripper and he incidentally rips his shirts off when annoyed too much.
  • Scary Girl: A deranged and lunatic girl who apparently just joined the show to cause as much chaos as she can./Ax-Crazy: Using a jackhammer for a ride and attacking a bear with your bare hands proves that she doesn't fall into the definition of "sanity"./Cute and Psycho: She is a Genki Girl, but can react in deranged ways when excited too much with the possibility of using dangerous things like a chainsaw or a jackhammer./Expy: Of Harley Quinn without doubt: both are lunatic madwomen who love causing chaos and destruction wherever they go./Foil: To Izzy, taking her place as the flagship Ax-Crazy character of her generation. Both are crazy girls who have no problem in using weapons for chaos and can cause trouble for their teammates if not kept in check. However, while Izzy has more restraints and behaves calmly enough for her teammates to not grow scared from her, Scary Girl doesn't seem to really care for the safety of her teammates and isn't above scaring them for the sake of her own amusement./The Nameless: She has the distinction of being her team's only member without a known name, only being adressed by Chris with her nickname.
  • Zee: A tall and lean boy who enjoys soda./Geek Physiques: He is an extremely thin geeky young boy.

    Frogs of Death
  • Bowie: A fashionable and campy boy who befriends Emma./Camp Gay: He is really flamboyant and likes guys./Gay Best Friend: Becomes Emma's best friend over their time in the same team./Meaningful Name: He is named after the influential LGBT figure David Bowie, a flamboyant singer who was known for being as campy as Bowie is.
  • Caleb: An attractive and strong young man who quickly becomes the center of attention for all the girls at Camp Wawanakwa... and possibly for some guy too.../Even the Guys Want Him: Despite having many female admirers, Bowie looks to be the only guy romantically interested in Caleb./Mr. Fanservice: As soon as he arrives, his beauty stuns several and makes many contestants fall for him, such as Emma, Millie and Priya... and Bowie, unexpectedly.
  • Emma: A nerdy-like girl who occasionally teams up with Bowie for some challenges./One-Steve Limit: Averted. She shares her name with one of Total Drama Presents: The Ridonculous Race contestants.
  • Julia: An ambitious influencer who believes herself to be famous, even though others may not consider her as such./Iconic Item: Her phone, though considering she is an influencer, that's a given./Ms. Fanservice: Tall, leggy, beautiful and often shows a fair amount of skin with her short shorts./Small Name, Big Ego: She claims to be famous in social media, hence her excitement at being in the same team as Nichelle, but according to Nichelle, Julia isn't famous in social media, or at least to the extent she believes she is.
  • MK: A normal and reserved girl who apparently has a secret nature./Slasher Smile: She sports one while exploring the boathouse, apparently having discovered something important to the game.
  • Nichelle: A popular Internet celebrity who joins the show likely for more fame./Alpha Bitch: She acts like a a friendly girl, but is truly a fame-seeking celebrity who just wishes fame for the sake of it, not even trying to make friends and deeming those not famous as less important than herself./False Friend: She acts like she wants to be friends with Julia due to both being Internet celebrities. However, in the confessional, she privately admits that Julia isn't famous as her and it's very apparent she doesn't really stand her.
  • Raj: A hockey player who is Wayne's teammate./Heterosexual Life-Partners: He and Wayne regard themselves like "brothers-in-arms" due to how many times they have worked together to win hockey games, now aiming to do the same to win the competition.
  • Wayne: A hockey player who is Raj's teammate./Heterosexual Life-Partners: He and Raj regard themselves like "brothers-in-arms" due to how many times they have worked together to win hockey games, now aiming to do the same to win the competition.

Oh, and one more Headscratcher for Disventure Camp:

  • As they sit on the bench after losing the water challenge, Tess asks Ally about her tattoo and she mentions that she had that tattoo made in honor of her late grandfather, who was a gamer like her. If the drawing made by Ally's creator is any indication for his canon appearance, isn't it a bit strange why would Ally's granddad be a "gamer" like her if the word itself is commonly used for video game players of today's console and computer games? The guy's appearance highly suggests he was definitely no longer a teen by the time video games started becoming a popular thing around The '80s.

Prehistoric Beast

  • Curb-Stomp Cushion: While the Tyrannosaurus wins the fight the Monoclonius does inflict a stab wound on the carnivore's leg.
  • Only a Flesh Wound: The Monoclonius drives its massive horn through the leg of the Tyrannosaurus. The predator is merely angered by the injury rather than bleeding to death.

Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun - Other Characters

Mr. & Mrs. Suzuki

  • Laughably Evil: The two are rotten parents with no empathy for their son's pain. At the same time, they put Iruma through such hilariously cruel situations that their abuse of him becomes downright comedic.

Eternal Darkness

Anthony - A.D. 814

  • Failure Is the Only Option: His efforts to save Charlemagne are doomed to fail. Even though he inadvertently takes the curse intended for his Emperor, the conspirators have already assassinated him by the time Anthony reaches him.

The Ancients

  • Asshole Victim: Chattur'gha, Ulyaoth, and Xel'lotath are to conquer Earth, their actions would lead to different but equally horrifying fates for humanity, and they are shown to view their underlings as nothing more than tools for their ambitions. So no tears are shed over their gruesome deaths.
  • Curb-Stomp Battle: As the Ancients counter each other's abilities, their fights result in this.
    • Chattur'gha relying on brute force means Xel'lotath's insanity-based attacks do not affect him while he freely rips her apart.
    • Xel'lotath's mental abilities counter Ulyaoth's magic, even turning his lasers back on him before using a blast of pure insanity to fry him.
    • Ulyaoth's use of portals turns Chattur'gha's predictable attacks on him, cutting off both his claws before killing him by cutting him in half.
  • Jerkass Has a Point: When Pious explains he has found Mantorok's essence, his Ancient warns him against underestimating the power of Mantorok. Chattur'gha and Xel'lotath outright belittle Pious, saying Mantorok's power is beyond their understanding. Ulyaoth is less condescending but warns that while Mantorok's essence appears unguarded, being easy to take means it could be stolen from underneath Pious. All of their concerns are proven right. Mantorok turns out not to be as powerless as he looks and drives off Pious. Ulyaoth's about the essence being stolen is spot on as Lindsey finds it before Pious and escapes with it, thanks to Mantorok's intervention.
  • Kick The Son Of A Bitch: Chattur'gha, Ulyaoth, and Xel'lotath demonstrate their cruelty when they fight, but they inflict it on another Ancient who more than deserves it.
    • Chattur'gha cuts Xel'lotath in half while she struggles in vain to break free from his grip, then rips off her arms before finally apart her entire torso.
    • Ulyaoth cuts Chattur'gha's right arm off and then cuts him in half while he struggles to escape.
    • Xel'lotath fries Ulyaoth with a blast of pure insanity, leaving him a charred corpse.
  • Sadist: Xel'lotath is the most blatant with her fondness for mentally torturing her foes, but based on how Ulyaoth and Chattur'gha prolong the misery of their foes when facing them, all three of the villainous Ancients delight in the suffering of others.
  • We Have Reserves: When Pious informs them of the destruction of the Guardians in Ehn'gha, all of the Ancients dismiss his concerns about the manpower loss for their own reasons:
    • Chattur'gha doesn't care as he has his vision of killing Xel'lotath and is sure of his victory as a result.
    • Ulyaoth knew of the massacre as it occurred and is irritated that Pious feels the need to inform him. Regardless, he doesn't care, seeing the Guardians as mere tools and inevitable casualties.
    • Xel'lotath explains she has other Guardian colonies, and losing one doesn't affect her plans.

Chattur'gha

  • I'm a Humanitarian: Chattur'gha claims in his vision of killing Xel'lotath, he eats away at her body until nothing is left, showing he has a fondness for consuming his enemies after beating them.

Thanks. T His is pretty long so yoiu can put half of it off for tommorow if you want.

@ Star Wars Legends

  • Imperial administrator Tol Sivron only appears in the Jedi Academy Trilogy, but most fans of that trilogy and even some of its haters consider his actions in the third book to be a highlight of the series. Specifically, he becomes a Not-So-Harmless Villain once he starts flying around in a Death Star prototype, but remains a comically bureaucratic Pointy-Haired Boss throughout it all.

@ A Far Off Place

  • Adaptational Badass: Nonnie is a tough and plucky Tomboy who has lived in the bush for most of her life, but in the original book, she is younger, shyer, more of a Proper Lady, and only recently came to the area.
  • Adaptational Villainy: In the original book, the perpetrators of the Hunter's Drift massacre are rebel soldiers who are at least loyal to an ideal (even if it isn't portrayed too sympathetically). In the film, their actions are done to cover up a poaching operation and their leader is willing to kill people who view him as friends, including children.
@ Checkmate (Anla'Shok)
  • Affectionate Nickname: Johanna likes to call Finnick, her closest friend among the other victors, "boytoy".
  • The Baby of the Bunch: Phoenix, the youngest of the "family" of District 2 victors, is also described as being the most chipper and "offensively sane" (she rarely directly interacts with a POV character) and spends a lot of time playing music on a flute she carved or making snow angels in the winter.
  • Badass and Child Duo: There are a few alliances in the games between twelve-year-olds and 17 or 18-year-old volunteers: a Career victor named Magister and an acrobatic young girl, Mags' first mentee (a naive twelve year old who volunteers while not understanding the games) and an unhinged girl from District 1 whose Only Friend was allies with Mags the previous year.
  • Betrayal by Inaction: President Coin has an opportunity to rescue all of the 3rd Quarter Quell tributes before the games start (and has told those of them involved in the rebellion that she will save them), but she makes the cold decision to do nothing until Mags is dead in order to eliminate a potential rival and arouse more anger against the Capitol.
  • Bullying a Dragon: President Achlys learns the hard way that when punishing and threatening victors for acts of defiance, it really pays to make sure they have enough sense of self-preservation not to do something about it. When she arranges for a friend of unhinged and anti-authority District 4 victor Tang to die in the arena, he breaks into her house one night and tries to kill her husband, with Mags having to pull a pragmatic Save the Villain rescue (Tang killing Achlys or her husband would bring massive retribution down on the districts) that forces her to kill her first ever victor.
  • Captured on Purpose: Chaff and Seeder spend the weeks before the 3rd Quarter Quell openly stirring up rebel activity, leading raids and sabotage. They let themselves get caught before the reaping (and let a rebel peacekeeper "capture" them to get an ally promoted) so they can help with the arena plot without letting Snow know they don't fear going back into the arena.
  • Death by Irony: Invoked in the 72nd Hunger Games interviews when Caesar asks each tribute what their greatest strength is. When the Games begin, instead of having an opening bloodbath, each tribute is put in a situation where they have to live up to that boast about their greatest strength (the ones who said they are smart have to solve riddles or venomous insects will be sicced on them, the two tributes who said they were lucky have to cross a minefield, etc.), claiming six lives.
  • False Flag Operation: Once President Achlys, the creator of the Hunger Games, finally realizes Mags is a rebel, she plots to kill her in a staged rebel attack to crush sympathy for the rebellion. She ends up Out-Gambitted and is killed herself by a genuine rebel during the attempted assassination.
  • Fight Unscene: Mags sleeps through the end of the 10th Hunger Games (which are Outdated by Canon and thus do not feature Lucy Gray Baird) and another mentor, Vicuña, wakes her up to tell her that sociopathic District 2 tribtue Mordred (who terrifies Mags) won. Vicuña starts to describe how he he won, but Mags sadly says that all that matters is he did and she doesn't want to know what happened to his last two opponents (Little Miss Badass Skye and Stealth Expert Cally).
  • Hidden Supplies: Johanna Mason keeps several loaded guns under her floorboards. She isn't in a position to use them during the rebellion, but her fellow District 7 victor Keith is when he decides to take on 20 peacekeepers singlehandedly.
  • I Never Told You My Name: A corrupt peacekeeper who burns down a house as part of a Protection Racket is caught when he refers to his victim by name. He is unable to name any other District 4 citizens his suspicious Reasonable Authority Figure boss points to in a crowd, his claim that the arson victim has been in trouble with the law before is quickly disproven by a records check, and these circumstances give probable cause for an arrest and search.
  • Involuntary Battle to the Death: The Hunger Games is this in general, with the one victor premise, but Mags' memories of the Second and Third games' emphasize the "involuntary" part of the trope. Both years, every single tribute refused to fight or kill anyone until they either got parachuted messages threatening the tribute’s families or the gamemakers threatened to have carnivorous mutations eat them alive.
  • The Last Dance: When the 3rd Quarter Quell is announced, several victors feel that they have nothing to lose and stop holding back at lashing out against the Capitol in the weeks before they will go back into the arena.
    • Gloss and Cashmere vandalize the Academy of Evil where they were raised and kill the headmistress (a victor who consented to Snow pimping out her mentees).
    • Whittle from District 9 schemes to blow up a Peacekeeper barracks, although he abandons this when his withdrawn and depressed death-seeking sole victor Scythia comes out of her shell enough to spend time with him and he decides he would rather have one normal and healthy friendship in his last weeks.
    • Chaff and Seeder lead a bunch of raids, Johanna sneaks out of her house to spray anti-Capitol graffiti, and and Beetee poisons the soldiers in a peacekeeper barracks (although they are only partial examples, since they think they will be rescued from the arena).
  • The Poorly Chosen One: The decision to make Katniss and Peeta joint victors is the culmination of Mags and her allies constantly trying to bring attention to duos of tributes (including Finnick and his District partner, a Tragic Bromance between Wolfe of District 2 and Sawyer of District 4, a Badass and Child Duo, and twins from District 3 who Beetee rigged the reaping for in the hopes that the Capitol would spare them both). However, all of those previous efforts ended in failure and tragedy (although they helped Finnick, Wolfe, Magister, and possibly others win), especially with the twins from 3, who were murdered by their supposed ally, Bale of District 10 (who wins and later goes on to be the only non-District 2 victor to fight for the Capitol in the Rebellion).
  • Public Secret Message: During the 3rd Quarter Quell, Cashmere wounds Beetee at the Cornucopia while screaming "Where is your plan now, genius?" Only Plutarch and the rebel tributes within earshot realize that her rebuke is actually for the rebels who had earlier promised her that they would rescue all of the tributes but didn't keep that promise.
  • Screw the Rules, They're Not Real!: The 72nd Hunger Games are played as a series of elimination rounds, with some traps and some combats, rather than a straight up free-for-all, and sponsor gift breaks between each round. However, no one actually said the tributes couldn't attack each other during the breaks between rounds. When the final 5 becomes the final 3, Moire from 8 (who just tricked two other tributes into attacking each other and then pushed them off a cliff as they grappled) stabs another tribute as soon as the end of the round is announced and the others are relaxing. Since all three of those people are unrepentant multiple murderers and Moire's last opponent is a Death Seeker, no one minds too much.
  • The Shut-In: The unnamed victor of the 47th Hunger Games has a hard time interacting with people without unwillingly imagining ways to kill them, although he doesn’t act on those thoughts. For the last twenty-three years, he has only come out at night to get food and wander the areas between District 10's farms and slaughterhouses. He once had prostitures come over, but for the past six years, hasn't trusted himself to be around anyone.
  • Suicide Pact: Mags' second year as a mentor is the first year with the landmines and countdowns. Her male tribute (who was forced to volunteer by the peacekeepers in lieu of being executed for trying to destroy her career academy) makes a speech about the injustice of the Games and then he and his three allies all use the mines to blow themselves up. After a brief stunned paused, one of the other tributes follows their example.
  • Un-person: She never gets to follow through with it, but as the rebellion approaches, President Coin vows to dismantle the Capitol brick by brick once she wins, scatter or kill the residents, and outlaw any mention of the Soiled City on a Hill’s name.
  • Walking the Earth: After killing her boyfriend during a PTSD attack, District 5 victor Victoria spends most of the year aimlessly walking through the woods surrounding her district, not caring if she lives or dies but always coming back in time to mentor for the games.

@ Jeremiah

@ The Golden Age
  • Ensemble Dark Horse:
    • Captain Comet only appears in the final issue, but his role as a brave emerging hero who initially isn't given the respect he deserves impressed a lot of people. It helps that he is one of the better fighters against Dynaman, although that isn't saying too much.
    • Ted Knight only appears for about two pages per issue, but his trauma over helping make the atom bomb and the beautifully drawn scene of him first using the cosmic staff in issue three make him a standout character for fans.
    • Amnesiac Hero Paul Kirk and Retired Badass Bob Daley only have small roles until about halfway through the story, but their accomplishments against the villains and warm moments of friendship make them highlights of the comic.

@ Krypton They Wasted a Perfectly Good Character

  • Dru-Zod's fellow Black Zero renegade Kiyo. She gets an interesting Made of Iron action scene and it would have been interesting seeing how she learned the truth about Zod's goal to stop Brainiac and if she approves of his endgame of conquering the planet he first wants to save. However, she gets little background or characterization before being killed halfway through season one.
  • Mal, Jax-Ur's lieutenant from the last episodes of season one. He has some good moments displaying Screw the Money, I Have Rules!, has bad blood with the Vexes, and shows Undying Loyalty but not Blind Obedience to Jax-Ur during some tense and pivotal scenes. It might have been interesting seeing him get a bigger role in the rebellion in season 2, but he vanishes without a trace between seasons.

@ Buffy the Vampire Slayer

  • In a good bit of Dramatic Irony, Snyder writes in Buffy's yearbook that he finds comofrt in the knowledge that the school will still stand long after she leaves it, not knowing that the high school will get blown up as part of the battle with the Mayor.
@ Teen Power Inc.
  • Hidden Heart of Gold: Nick and Richelle are the most materialistic and irritable of the kids and the least prone to doing good deeds for the nothing. However, some of the books from their perspectives show that their private thoughts can be a lot nicer than what they say out loud, such as in The Case of Crazy Claude, where Nick's father wants him to quit the gang and he want to and is determined to stay with the others withotu ever telling this to them.

For Crossover Ship:

  • There's a relatively large fanbase for shipping Dana Scully (The X-Files) and Stella Gibson (The Fall) especially on sites like AO3, mainly due to both being played by Gillian Anderson.

Any corrections?

For The Trickster

  • Pedro Malasartes is a traditional character in Portuguese and Brazilian folklore popular in several folktales, as a cunning, picaresque and inescrupulous countryman who uses his wits and creativity to get by. Many humorous folk stories lead with Pedro disguising his craftiness with naivety to trick the more powerful, the rich and the miserly, such as telling a stingy old woman he was cooking a delicious "rock soup" so she would offer her own ingredients to eat it too, to the point the soup was so full of food that Pedro could remove the rocks and eat his share. Another trickster is João Grilo, a folk character famous in the Cordel literature of the Northeastern region who even became one of the main characters of the play and subsequent film O Auto da Compadecida.

Change "...that the two duos were actually the same." to "...that the two characters who appear in the 5th episode are the same two who appear in the 9th episode."

^ That should make it clear.

"The French dub surprisingly has popular voice actor"

^ If you're just making an off-hand comment that doesn't have anything to do with the trope, I would delete it because the part about the voice actors is unnecessary and goes against Word Cruft - This Example Is an Example.

^ If you decide to include it anyway, you need to give that explanation.

All of your character entries with multiple tropes violate Example Indentation in Trope Lists because you have multiple tropes on the same line. Each trope gets its own entry on a first level (one asterisk) indentation below the character name.
