Lanfeust: Character (Qam)
- Entitled to Have You: When meeting Lanfeust, she insists on trying to marry him during a whole comic, despite Lanfeust's refusal and the fact that he already has a fiancée. She grows out of it by the next comic and ends up respecting Lanfeust's loyalty to Cixi.
Grow
- Sick Episode: The goal of Grow nano vol.3 is to heal a sick Onky who serves as an Author Avatar for the game's creator.
Joueur du Grenier: Cowboy BeBop at His Computer
- In a video where Fred presents different Youtube channels, he describes Mister Flech's channel. However, his description about Mister Flech's series contain two notable unacurraccies:
- He says that Wrecking Games is the main series of Mister Flech's channel, when in reality, it's a secondary series. The main series is actually Reset System.
- He says that Reset System is a series where Mister Flech talks about consoles with occasional lore scenes. In reality, Reset System is a video format where Mister Flech talks about various video games and video games-related subjects. Not all Reset System episodes contain lore. And while there is an episode dedicated to the Ouya, this is the only episode that focus on a single console and it's the 31th episode.
For future Broken Record examples in films:
- The Killer Robot from Zathura only ever speaks the following five words:
Gentle Gorilla: Donkey Kong, who shows up wanting to play tennis with the Mario Bros. When he learns that isn't possible due to the magic sweaters making them sleepy and Peach being kidnapped, DK tears the sweaters and off accepts the brothers can rescue the princess and accept they will play tennis another day.
Intelligible Unintelligible: When Donkey Kong shows up he only speaks in ape noises, but everyone can understand him regardless.
Metronomic Man Mashing: Kammy suffers this at Bowser's hands as punishment for trying to overthrow him before being tossed into a wall.
- Peach, when she isn't being kidnapped is shown to be attending to running the Mushroom Kingdom.
- Bowser, besides being a Benevolent Boss who gives his minion an extra week of vacation, and is actually kidnapping Peach because their two kingdoms used to be at war. While he had her hostage, it boosts the morale of his kingdom and prevents the Mushroom Kingdom from attacking.
Running Gag: Throughout Kammy Kalamity the characters bring up that kidnapping Peach is normally only done on Thursdays, so everyone is surprised when a kidnapping happens on a different day of the week.
Serious Business: Mustaches are this to the Mario family, and going in public without one is considered shameful. So much so that Luigi refuses to show his face after his mustache is shaved off.
Smug Snake: Kammy views herself as a superior villain to Bowser. While she's smarter than Bowser, she overrates herself and puts too much stock in one plan succeeding while assuming nothing could derail it.
Stupid Evil: When Wario and Waluigi are hired to rescue Peach, Kammy gets rid of them by bribing them. Her bribe however turns out to be trash instead of real, causing them to go after her for revenge.
For My Ideal Academia.
- Executive Meddling: In-Universe. The Hero Commission meddles in the U.A. practical exam by sending Endeavor as Shirou's proctor to investigate whether Shirou is a traitor or not.
- Graceful Loser: Even though Bakugo hates the fact that he loses to Shirou in their rematch, he still acknowledges he is falling behind Shirou, so Bakugo decides to join in Shirou's training sessions to push himself.
- Intelligible Unintelligible: Recovery Girl completely understands Hound Dog's gibberish-sounded growls, unlike most people, due to working with him for many years.

To provide additional context for an already existing Truth in Television trope:
- Cats Hate Water: Zig-Zagged:
- Played Straight with domestic cats booking it upon being shot with water pistols.
- Downplayed with lions, tigers, leopards, cheetahs, cougars, bobcats, and lynxes. They're all great swimmers, but if they don't have to get in the water to catch their prey, they generally avoid doing so.
- Inverted with jaguars frequently hunting caimans in and around the waters of the Amazon River.

- "Open!" Says Me: Unlike in the past Fire Emblem games, you can choose to attack doors to destroy them. You can still use Keys or lockpicking to open them so that you don't waste a turn.
- Memetic Loser: There are several videos of different characters beating up Jean in the Arena due to the mere idea that you can beat up an actual child. His overall shy attitude makes him getting wrecked by his opponent funnier.
- The Plague: The Black Plague card inflicts 1 damage to a random white piece at the end of each turn. The card only becomes available if you have Crow's Nest and Ravenous Rats cards.
(Nitocris (Alter))
- Clothing Combat: She can launch her mummy bandages as projectiles or wrap them up in the shape of a khopesh sword.
- Vapor Wear: Her Third Ascension is almost as revealing as swimsuit Kama's Third Ascension. Her breasts are only covered up by her usekh collar, while her crotch is covered up by flames.
(Alm)
- Signature Move: Windsweep, a Combat Art that prevents opponents' counter-attack. While Alm can only use it with an Iron Sword, he appears in both Heroes and Engage with the Windsweep skill.
(Fomortiis)
- Dub Name Change: He is called "Fodeth" in the original Japanese version.
- Forced Sleep: His Nightmare "staff" inflicts sleep on all enemies surrounding him.
- Good Old Fisticuffs: Fomortiis is capable of casting devastating dark magic such as Demon Light, but he also possesses a mean right hook with his Ravager weapon.

"The creepypasta was created in 2019 by an anonymous user on 4chan, when posting the aforementioned quote in response to a slightly tilted photo of an empty yellow-colored hallway in a discussion about unsettling images. The concept of one suddenly getting stranded alone in an abandoned maze beyond reality and the eerieness of the image — depicting a familiar environment like an office, but without any people or furniture — led many internet users in the following years to delve into the story and expand the original premise in social media, such as adding antagonistic supernatural entities and different landscapes trapped travellers could face, sometimes called "levels"; the latter often similarly plays with the juxtaposition of nostalgic, recognizable and often crowded places depicted as abandoned, claustrophobic, surreal and dream-like instead."

oh hey how are you doing?Men of Sherwood: The military forces responding to the zombie outbreak are only briefly seen but evacuate a lot of townspeople offscreen, contain the outbreak, and have a couple of effective Big Damn Heroes moments. Based on the lack of zombies wearing military fatigues, none of the soldiers sent to the town die besides one Zombie Infectee who is still competent before succumbing.

For future Zathura YMMV entries:
- What An Idiot:
- Danny discovers a magical board game in the basement, and he immediately wants to play it with Walter.
You'd Expect: Danny to read the instructions before starting the game.
Instead: Danny screws in the key and presses the start button straight away.
The Result: Danny and Walter become stranded in outer space until they complete the game. - Danny and Walter get a reprogram card when the Zorgons first appear.
You'd Expect: Walter to remember the Killer Robot, head down to the basement, reprogram him, and have him take care of the Zorgons.
Instead: Walter attempts to use the reprogram card on the Zorgons' Retro Rocket.
The Result: The Zorgons are allowed to attack Danny and Walter for the next few turns. - Walter sees Danny's game piece in a different location than where it stood when Walter's future self first appeared.
You'd Expect: Walter to leave the game piece alone and assume Danny to have already taken his most recent turn.
Instead: Walter moves the game piece back to where it stood before Danny's most recent turn.
The Result: Walter gets Thrown Out the Airlock for cheating at the game, forcing his future self to rescue him.
