Micro Monarchy: In Parts 3-5, in mainland Asia there's Bhutan, just like in Real Life! Bhutan is a Meritocratic Monarchy surrounded by bigger nations like India and China. As a result, Bhutan is a Micro Monarchy in comparison to the other nations surrounding it. Bhutan's existence in this timeline starts as a puppet of China after World War 1 ends. It began life as a constitutional monarchy with the size of Bhutan in Real Life. Bhutan joined in the size of the Tianxia (Allies) in World War 2 against the Axis Powers and the Central Powers. In the modern day, Bhutan didn't grow in size and in the modern day, is a Nationalist Conservative Meritocratic Monarchy attacked by the Pallauist Republic of Nepal.

For future In-Series Nickname examples in Web Originals:
- Many Go Animate text-to-speech voices mispronounce "Caillou" as either "Kay-loo", "Kay-low", or "Kay-i-you."
For future Two Guys and a Girl examples:
- Featured with the Budwing siblings from Zathura. Walter, The Hero and middle child, blames Danny for everything from their parents' divorce to stealing their father's exclusive attention from him. Danny, The Lancer and youngest child, wants to play a magical board game with Walter and not get mistreated by him all the time. Lisa, the Cool Big Sis, mediator, and eldest child, regularly breaks up the brothers' fights with one another.

For future Gag Boobs examples:
- Starla from Regular Show sports massive boobs that Rigby accidentally faceplants into in "Muscle Woman."
For future Truth in Television tropes:
- Damsel in Distress: Real Life women are no more immune to getting captured by their enemies than fictional princesses.
YMMV.Mickey And Minnies Runaway Railway:
- Unexpected Character:
- Although an attraction based on Mickey Mouse was far from unexpected and had been rumored for years, nobody had expected the ride to use the Paul Rudish incarnations of Mickey and the gang. Especially not over the more iconic and recognizable portrayal of the gang from the Classic Disney Shorts.
- Not in the ride proper, but one of the posters in Disneyland's queue features a High School Musical 3: Senior Year parody that features, much to the surprise of fans, Max and his friends (plus Roxanne and Stacey)
from A Goofy Movie. The presence of Max's supporting cast is especially a surprise, given that, unlike Max, they are barely acknowledged in most Mickey Mouse media.
Trivia.Thomas And The Magic Railroad:
- Pop-Culture Urban Legends: There is a rumor that David Mitton (the director of the main Thomas and Friends show) had his own pitch for a Thomas the Tank Engine film that was rejected in favor of Magic Railroad, with the pitch allegedly being a lot more faithful to the original show, and a crossover between Thomas the Tank Engine and its sister show TUGS. However, no evidence points to this rumor being real. This likely stems from the (genuine) fact that the characters from TUGS were planned to make a cameo in the film, which was scrapped due to legal circumstances and a feud between Mitton and Allcroft (who allegedly hated TUGS at the time) over their usage.
YMMV.Thomas And Friends:
- My Real Daddy: While Britt Allcroft is the one who created the original show, many fans argue that David Mitton was the true mastermind of the classic run instead. Largely due to him having directed and written the first seven seasons, while Britt Allcroft mostly acted as a producer/executive producer for the series up to her departure in Season 6.
Fandom Heresy:
- The Lion King: Unless you want to be thrown to your death at the hands of the fandom like Mufasa did at the paws of Scar, don't ever praise the 2019 remake or suggest that you prefer it to the original animated film.

- Posthumous Sibling: Dick Diver was born after the deaths of his two sisters. Assuming that his mother will try to spoil him because of that, Dick's father became a moral guide for him.
For future trope examples in Minecraft:
- Curb-Stomp Cushion: When running from a swarm of hostile mobs, if a player can reach a safe place (such as the opposite side of a lava river or an empty pocket in a cave that can be sealed up with cobblestone blocks) without any hostile mobs also reaching said safe place, he may survive his predicament.
- Dwindling Party: Occurs among players whenever becoming the Sole Survivor is the main goal of a server minigame.
Sensual Phrase
Aine and Sakuya
- Living Emotional Crutch: As Yuki explains, since meeting and falling in love with Aine, she has become everything to Sakuya. The thought of her actually brought him back from the brink of death. Being with Sakuya has not only made Aine more confident and mature, but it has also granted her happiness she never thought possible when she was just a lonely and demure high school girl neglected by her parents. She can't stand the thought of being apart from Sakuya or being a burden to him or the band, wanting to be stronger for the people she cares about.
For future trope examples in The Loud House:
- Affectionate Nickname: Lynn Junior sometimes calls Lincoln "Stinkin'."
- Borderlands 3
- During "Psycho Krieg and the Fantastic Fustercluck," the Vault Hunter has to deal with Sane Krieg and Psycho Krieg, with Sane representing his calm, rational side and Psycho being his violent, bloodthirsty one. It's when you open the way to Benediction of Pain that Psycho have a moment of utter fear.
Sane Krieg: What could you be afraid of?
Psycho Krieg: The whiteness of his coat!
Sane Krieg: Oh... yeah...
For future trope examples on the Regular Show S1E4 "Death Punchies" page:
- Convection, Schmonvection: During the episode's climax, when the lava seeps into Mordecai and Rigby's sinkhole, it doesn't cause them any ill effects whatsoever.
For "Ray of Hope" Ending Video Games:
- The Kindaichi Case Files: Hoshimijima Sorrowful Revenge Demonnote : Inverted. Both culprit protagonists, Nao Katsuragi and Takuya Asagiri (the producer of idol entertainment shows), have mutually exclusive scenarios that serve as two alternate timelines. In each protagonist's only Good Ending, they successfully murdered people (particularly Akiko Kudo) who were genuinely responsible for the "suicides" of their loved ones, without getting caught, leaving evidences and making suspicions by the titular hero and his friends. However, after that, Hajime approaches them, admits that he can't figure out who the true culprits are (or rather, he suspects them but lacks clear evidence), and wonders if the true culprits are happy with it as they escape scot-free. Since the protagonists are sympathetic murderers (although they obviously don't reveal themselves to Hajime that they are) and they clearly show unhappy expressions, it hints that their victories won't probably last long.note

"No matter how bad the heroes can get or how bad the situation is, we're sure we can overcome it and get our happy endings..."- Honor Before Reason: He agrees that revealing how he did his magic tricks would prove his innocence and make it easy to find who really stole a robot dog that he made vanish for his act, but he persists in abiding by the magician's code against exposing the secrets behind tricks.
- Last-Name Basis: Everyone, even his girlfriend, calls him by his last name except in formal scenarios like when Ingrid and Fillmore are looking at his file.
- Reformed Criminal: He shows no signs of wanting to return to being a disruptive thief and even uses his talent show prize to repay one of his past victims.
@ Fillmore! Foes Don't Forgive
- When Stage Magician Linus Santiago asserts his innocence in a theft, he makes a live dove appear in his hands while illustrating a point about how magic and innocence can both be hard to prove. The awesome part is how he has been under questioning for minutes and may have been searched before then, but there's still no hint of the dove's presence until he makes it appear.
Codename: Electric Haircut
- A tied-up Fillmore uses a CD to cut his bindings and then uses the severed ropes to restrain his assailant.
- When Ingrid tries to race out of a room, the Forced into Evil accomplice is revealed to be a former member of the cheerleading squad who rolls and cartwheels across the desks to get ahead of her and then does the splits between the desks on either side of the door to block her from getting out.
- Mistaken Confession: In multiple episodes, Fillmore and Ingrid chase a nervous suspect and exchange heated words with them about the crime that provoked the pursuit without realizing that the person is running for a different reason.
- In "Test of the Tested", the search for stolen test answers leads to two chases where different suspects (one of whom even rants about how unfair the test is) are carrying boxes they won’t turn over. One box has stolen tartar sauce from the cafeteria and the other has cheat sheets for the test.
- In "Cry the Beloved Mascot", the lobster mascot is missing and one suspect has a book about ways to feed kidnapped animals. They chase him down and demand to be taken to the stolen mascot. He complies, only for them to learn that he actually kidnapped a rival school’s goat mascot. When he realizes they had no clue about that, he is initially confused about what they were after him for. Then he puts the pieces together and screams out that their beloved mascot has been stolen, alerting the whole school when the heroes were trying to keep that a secret.
@ Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse
- Girly Girl with a Tomboy Streak: Kendall is a Damsel in Distress with lots of pink and girly clothes and personal items, but she is also plays lacrosse and has several trophies.
@ Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse
- Safe Zone Hope Spot: One of the first things the main characters do after encountering zombies is drive to the police station. They find it abandoned, with a sign on the front door saying the town has been evacuated and a set of directions to the nearest military checkpoint outside of town.
