Blazing Inferno Hellfire Sauce

Folder->Web Original

  • In this stream, Vesper Noir of Holostars TEMPUS takes on a series of hot sauces starting from the Classic Hot Sauce being the mildest at 1,700 SHU (Scoville Heat Units) to the hottest one being "The Last Dab," which is made from the Carolina Reaper and clocks in a 2 million SHU. It's the Last Dab that nearly does him in and makes him hallucinate Calliope Mori is here to take him away.

For Magnificent Bastard

  • Day Shift: Bud Jablonski is a charming Vampire Hunter looking to score big in profit from his Vampire kils in order to help his family. Bud is a genius trap master who always knows how to set up the defeats of various vampires, often tricking them into their deaths. Bud is ruthless in his quest for the money he can obtain and is both fine with endangering civilians and gunning down even helpless vampires. Bud can easily change tactics on a dime and uses it to expertly outrace a group of vampires that are chasing him. Clashing with the leader of LA's vampires Audrey San Fernando, Bud is eventually able to after a tough fight defeat her with one last trick and ride off into the sunset.

Thanks

@ Recurring Extra

  • Dick Tracy: The Club Ritz backup singers perform onstage along with Breathless in two scenes and get yelled instructions by Big Boy Caprice during rehearsals, but none of them get names or interact with the other characters whenever they're not singing or rehearsing.
  • Justice League: In the Unlimited era, there are three instances of this trope being at play.
    • Lots of the same Watchtower medics and mechanics are often shown working in the background while having little to no interactions with the regular cast.
    • Several superheroes in the expanded Justice League like Obsidian, Hourman, Doctor Mid-nite, Waverider, Ice, Gypsy, Atom Smasher, and the Creeper are regularly seen during briefings or cafeteria scenes but rarely appear in the field and never get any dialogue.
    • The Legion of Doom contains dozens of recurring super villains, including many characters who never get named and barely do anything besides sit around at meetings and (in some cases) get a few seconds of fighting during the Enemy Civil War.

@ Dick Tracy Ensemble Dark Horse

  • The six dancers/back-up singers get no dialogue outside of their singing and are all unnamed but are decently popular for being the source of some Funny Background Events and becoming noticeably better singers throughout the movie after sounding Hollywood Tone-Deaf during the rehearsal montage.

@ FunJungle

8. Whale Done (upcoming). A vacation to Malibu takes a dramatic turn when a whale turns up dead and explodes before it can be autopsied. Additionally, someone seems to be stealing sand from a local beach.

@Superman – Rogues Gallery (Phantom Zone)

Eventually, Superman becomes savvy enough to release paroled convicts to Kandor instead of Earth, and those ones tend to stay out of trouble.

Even when an amnesiac Quex-El has a short-lived Then Let Me Be Evil moment and tries to de-power Superman, he still forms a brief truce with Superman to save an innocent bystander.

  • Token Good Teammate: The Phantom Zone is filled with dozens of mass murderers, Mad Scientists, and surly career criminals, but there are some decent inmates, although they rarely if ever show up at the same time.
    • Thul-Kar, like Mon-El, is a complete innocent who enters the Phantom Zone voluntarily (to escape the destruction of Krypton) rather than being sentenced there for a crime. He is very helpful to Superman when they meet in The Phantom Zone miniseries.
    • Ak-Var gets sentenced to the Phantom Zone for 30 cycles for stealing a sacred jewel, but he claims it was just a prank and becomes a superhero inside Kandor and friend of Superman after his sentence is up.

@ Wolves

  • Ambiguously Human: Three or four trashy women are seen hanging around the werewolf pack members at various points, but never transform or accompany the male werewolves in battle.
  • Bonding over Missing Parents: Cayden and Angel have a brief drink together after each learns that the other is an orphan.
  • Clashing Cousins: The Wills brothers and Cayden are second cousins and Cayden and Larson trade some ugly words over Cayden threatening to instigate a turf war and Larson being unwilling to fight the mountain werewolves. More notably, Wild Joe Wills initially seems like a mentor to Cayden, but they fight to the death after Cayden learns Joe killed Cayden’s adopted parents.
  • Familial Foe: A (possibly) single generation version with bad people on both sides appears. Connor is on bad terms with the three Wills brothers: he harasses, kills, and cannibalizes Carter Wills with little provocation and ran Wild Joe out of town years ago after blinding him him in one eye. Joe (who was run off for being Eviler than Thou to Connor) holds a grudge, and engineers a Long Game to kill Connor in revenge. The third brother, Larson, is too cowardly to fight Connor no matter how awful his actions are, but still dislikes him.
  • Even Evil Has Loved Ones: Wild Joe Wills is a Manipulative Bastard and Fully-Embraced Fiend, but he goes from Evil Gloating to a brief Unstoppable Rage when he hears that Connor killed his brother, Carter.
  • Friendly Sniper; John is a caring, laidback old man who is a deadly shot with a scoped rifle.
  • Interspecies Romance: John, a pureblood werewolf, is married to the human Clara, who jokes that she likes men with lots of chest hair.
  • Monster Town: Lupine Ridge was founded by werewolves centuries ago. Most of their descendants (of whom only nine who can still change forms remain) intermarried with humans, live peaceful lives, and haven't transformed in years, but Connor has bitten a bunch of rowdy roughs and has a pack in the hills that runs roughshod over both the town wolves and their human neighbors while barely bothering to hide their true nature.
  • Screw This, I'm Outta Here!:
    • Larson Wills, Mayor Robinson, and the human townspeople all flee town offscreen shortly before the fight between Connor and his opponents comes to a head.
    • The Ambiguously Human women who hang around the werewolf pack disappear during the fight around the campfire, apparently running off.
  • Tangled Family Tree: The three Wills Brothers and Cayden are second cousins, but it is unclear whether they are related to him through his father (Connor), his maternal grandmother (the sister of John Tollerman) or his paternal grandfather. Neither Connor nor John indicates any closeness or kinship with them, but they could just be estranged.

@ Karma Houdini

  • Wild River: Racist thug Bailey is ultimately forced to stop his beatdown of Chuck but isn't humiliated, arrested, or really thwarted in any way and just leaves casually.

@ Liquid Courage

  • Wild River: Chuck goes over and gives a blunt, heartfelt speech to Ella after drinking a jar of moonshine and being on the verge of passing out.
@ Reasonable Authority Figure
  • Wild River: The local mayor provides some aid and advice to Chuck about how to expedite building the dam and doesn't seem personally opposed to hiring black workers, although he warns him that it might cause trouble with the local bigots.
@ Stout Strength
  • Wild River: Joe John Garth is not a thin man. But after Chuck calls Mrs. Garth senile, Joe John is capable of picking up Chuck head over heels, marching him several feet and throwing him in the river.

@ Would Hit a Girl

@ Police Are Useless

@ Good Cop/Bad Cop

  • Wild River: Not cops, and they may not be working together, but Sy Moore and R.J. Bailey have this dynamic in dealing with Chuck and trying to keep him from hiring away their underpaid African-American laborers for the dam. Moore arrives at Chuck's house making polite requests, but warns that he and his companions deliberately excluded Bailey from the meeting because he'll be rougher. When Moore's overture doesn't work, Bailey does show up and is willing to rough up and threaten Chuck.

Faux Affably Evil

  • Wild River:
    • Sy Moore is very polite towards Chuck and offers to negotiate with him to make the dam project go smoother before drawing the line at paying blacks and whites the same wages.
    • RJ Bailey says that Chuck and Carol make a nice-looking couple and thanks Carol for asking about his wife even as his tone and language gets ambiguously threatening. Later, he makes a point to offer him a cigar and chat with him for a while before delivering his racist ultimatum and then beating Chuck up.

@ Scream (1996)

  • Additionally, the girl in the gold sweatshirt is dancing with Randy when Sidney and Tatum arrive, although Randy quickly leaves to greet Sidney.
  • Perpetual Smiler: The girl in the black shirt is constantly smiling and enjoying the party.
  • Shes Got Legs: The girl in the black shirt is seen pulling her short skirt down a little further after getting up from the couch in a background moment.

@ House of the Dragon

Archmaester Vaegon Targaryen will appear and comment on Rhaenyra being the heir.

@ The Batman

  • Riddler introducing himself to the other two arch criminals by hacking the electric signs on a building instead of just tagging them is also impressive. Then he dramatically emerges from hiding and issues the challenge to see who can defeat Batman, and his rivals realize that no matter who wins, Batman will be the big loser.
@ The Batman
  • It's Short, So It Sucks!: As well-liked as "The Night and the City" is, many fans agree that it tries to fit way too much (the three-way competition between the supervillains, Commissioner Gordon showing up, and Batman and Yin’s partnership) into a single episode and could have been truly great by stretching all of that out over a two-parter. The fact that three other seasons end with two-part episodes increases this feeling.

  • The King Nobody Wanted
  • Related in the Adaptation: The fat High Septon from the first two books is a nephew of the High Septon who tried to get Aerys to be a faithful husband to his wife.
  • Short-Lived Leadership:
    • The decade before the current High Septon (who is approaching his 28th year in office) got the job saw twelve other men reign for periods ranging from one week to two years.
    • Lucaeyn Tregaelyn's father was only Prince of Pentos (being selected after the Tattered Prince fled the city rather than take the job) for five months before being sacrified to the gods. The man after him only lasted two months.
  • You Can't Go Home Again: Lucaeyn Tregaelyn and his sister have spent years unable to return to Pentos because their Impoverished Patrician status and descent from a relatively recent Prince of Pentos nearly guarantee that Lucaeyn
will be forced to become the Prince of Pentos and end up a Human Sacrifice.

@ Familial Foe

The Wills' Tangled Family Tree (their second cousin is Connor's son) means that either they and Connor are Clashing Cousins or their familial feud with Connor goes back a generation further. If they aren’t Connor's cousins, then they are nephews of either John Tollerman (who fights Connor in the present) or John's late brother-in-law (who Connor still hates for keeping him and John’s niece Lucinda apart, regardless of whether their relationship was consensual).

  • Star Wars Legends: Nom Anor and Warmaster Tsavong Lah from New Jedi Order, Lady Lumiya from Legacy of the Force, and Thrackan Sal-Solo from both series (as well as The Corellian Trilogy) are all evil people who have long-running and very personal feuds with the Skywalker-Solo clan (Luke, his sister and brother-in-law, his wife and son, and his niece and nephews). They target members of the family for violent death, The Corruptor efforts, or both.

@Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2003): Other

    The Mogura Ninjas

The Mogura Ninjas

Tunneling mole ninjas from Usagi’s dimension who serve Lord Hebi as kidnappers and thugs.

  • Elite Mooks: They are good fighters and their Fast Tunneling lets them make sneak attacks and fast escapes. They capture good guys (including fierce combatants Genosuke and Tomoe Ame) each time they appear.
  • Fast Tunneling: They can dig through the ground at rapid speeds.
  • What Happened to the Mouse?: They are never seen again after capturing Gen and Lord Noriyuki.

    Chizu and the Neko Clan

Chizu and the Neko Clan

Voiced by: Caren Manuel (Chizu)

A group of humanoid feline ninjas who work for Lord Hebi.
  • Adaptational Villainy: In the comics, Chizu and her clan are honorable warriors and allies of Usagi. In their sole appearance in the show, they fight Usagi on behalf of an odious villain who wants to kill a young child and usurp his feudal position.
  • Cats Are Mean: They are cat-like assassins and thugs with no apparent depth.
  • Consummate Professional: Chizu shows deep focus and no emotion while accepting orders to attack the heroes and then giving her men orders during the attack.
  • Faceless Mooks: Most of them wear face-concealing black masks and they act as enforcers.
  • Screw This, I'm Outta Here!: The ninjas present for the climax of their one episode run away after The Cavalry arrives at Lord Hebi's castle.
  • What Happened to the Mouse?: Chizu is last seen delivering a message to the heroes halfway through her one episode.

@ Planet of the Apes (Original Series)

    Jake and his friend

Jake and his friend

Portrayed by: Michael Stearns and John Landis

Appears In: Battle for the Planet of the Apes

Two humans who live in Ape City and perform a lot of hard labor.
  • Friend to All Children: Jake‘s friend is seen giving an Ape child a ride on his shoulders.
  • Manly Facial Hair: Jake does a lot of the physical labor around the settlement and has a prominent mustache and stubble on his chin.
  • Nice Guy: Jake thanks Aldo for helping him with some work and his friend is happy with entertaining children.
  • No Name Given: Jake‘s friend never gets a name.
  • Recurring Extra: They only appear a few times, but barely speak or interact with anyone else beside being bossed around and locked up by Also and the gorillas.
  • Those Two Guys: They constantly appear together, being pushed around by the gorillas.
  • The Worf Effect: No fight is involved, but Jake, the burliest human in Ape City, is unable to lift up a loaded wagon to replace a broken wheel, while a sinister gorilla does so with no trouble at all, emphasizing the physical superiority of the gorillas.

Okay, I just had a few negativity removal discussion and as a result, I need to put something in Jerks Are Worse Than Villains in the YMMV page of Live A Live.

It's a new bullet point so excuse the double indentation.

  • The Distant Future chapter's main antagonist is OD-10, a mother computer and incarnation of Odio that only follows its protocol to maintain order in the ship, resorting to Kill All Humans to achieve said goal. Its reasoning turns out to be very solid, since the humans in the ship are mostly a bunch of squabbling people. As a result, several fans chose to despise the token Jerk Jock Kirk Wells instead. This is due to the fact that he's antagonistic towards Huey Trumbull, acting as The Bully against him, reminding him why his previous girlfriend dumped him for Kirk himself, and eventually accidentally justifying OD-10's decision to kill everyone with his impatience, followed by arguing with Huey (with Kirk incidentally becoming OD-10's first victim). While he is a jerk with a short temper, Kirk is not malicious at all; he never meant to kill Huey despite the conflict between them. However, bullying is often seen as an extremely relatable antagonism, and Huey is considered The Woobie by the fandom. Therefore, it's a lot easier for these fans to just hate Kirk instead.

Any fix needed?

  • Missing Parts The TANTEI Stories: In the Rank A ending of the sixth/final case "The Pendant of Remembrance", Yikai Wei's helicopter gets destroyed and then sunken anti-climatically at the hands of Kouki Suwa, the Amoral Attorney who is revealed to be the leader of PARTS. In the Dénouement, however, it isn't explicitly shown or explained that Yikai is dead. Instead, the police only finds his arm, while the rest of it (including Ryuutarou Kurato, Yikai's minion), according to Kyosuke's words, appears to remain under the sea, accompanied with a reused sinister close-up face of Yikai as a background picture.

  • Co-Dragons: Ben and the Butcher are Jeff Kingsworthy's bodyguards that Babyface has to go through before facing him in Level 39, "Office." Droney tells Babyface he personally trained them before he went away.
  • Dead All Along: In Mission 37, it's revealed all this time that the real Droney, Babyface's son, has been dead since his first attempt at Kingsworthy.
  • Embarrassing Nickname: Mikhail "The Snail" claims his nickname is cause he's slow to the draw, but it was from leaving a trail of diarrhea after getting salmonella.
  • How We Got Here: The game starts with Babyface being interrogated by Agents Smithman and McCloon about the events of the game leading up to his arrest, with the game finally catching up at Mission 37.
  • Organ Theft: Level 13, "Civilian Evacuation Center," has the Pirates harvesting organs for the black market by killing unlucky refugees.
  • Pay Evil unto Evil: Babyface sees the worst kinds of scum committing violent acts to innocents and makes sure they die in the most violent ways possible. One example is the Psycho Pirates who are just butchering their victims for the sake of violence.
Droney: Okay! That does it. Let's eye-for-an-eye these guys and see how they like having THEIR organs on the outside.
  • Trojan Horse: The Russian Mafia's plan of Operation Neo Dawn, Mission Kilitary, is to take a plane, fly it to a military base which they'll believe will be filled with civilian refugees escaping from the violence, and then attack the base.
  • Wretched Hive: The City of Tomorrow is one of the worst places to be in, and made so by Jeffrey Kingsworthy. Gangs run rampant all over the city, and the cops and firefighters are just as crooked as the mafia.

Jerks Are Worse Than Villains

  • The Distant Future chapter's main antagonist is OD-10, a mother computer and incarnation of Odio that only follows its protocol and resorts to Kill All Humans to achieve its goal of maintaining order in the ship (remove comma, move text). Its reasoning turns out to be very solid, since most of the humans in the ship are quarrelsome. As a result, several fans chose to despise the token Jerk Jock Kirk Wells instead. This is because he's antagonistic towards Huey Trumbull, bullying (superfluous word - cut) him, and reminding him why his previous girlfriend dumped him for Kirk. (period, superfluous word - cut) His impatience, followed by his argument with Huey, (comma) eventually accidentally justifies OD-10's decision to kill everyone (superfluous word - cut, move text, unnecessary detail - cut). While he is a jerk with a short temper, Kirk (superfluous words - cut) never meant to kill Huey despite the conflict between them. However, bullying is often seen as an extremely relatable antagonism, and fans consider Huey to be The Woobie (superfluous words - cut). Therefore, it's a lot easier for these fans to (superfluous word - cut) hate Kirk instead.
^ The way you wrote it, this is full of Word Cruft such as "due to the fact that", which has resulted in it becoming a Wall of Text. I've rewritten it to cut down on unnecessary words and I've also moved stuff around to make it flow better.
