for Five Nights At Freddys 3

  • Killer Rabbit: Springtrap is an animatronic rabbit.
  • Animated Armor: Springtrap is more of a animatronic suit than a suit of armor but it is possessed by the Purple Man and even has his rotting corpse in it.

Video Game Long-Runners Call of Duty is now old enough that a squeaker who picked up the first game could have reached puberty by the time of Call Of Duty Ghosts

For the The Sims 3, due to it's sandbox nature with the Sims the following tropes are possible.

  • Action Fashionista: you can be a stylist and have the athletic trait at the same time.
  • Girly Bruiser: various traits can result in this when combined with athletic.
  • Nature Lover: one trait is "loves the outdoors".
  • Shy Blue-Haired Girl: the amount of customization this game allows means you can literally make a "shy blue-haired girl".

[up]Hi, Conservative Pip,

  • I think the mention of Bonnie isn't needed her if he/she doesn't appear in game you're troping.
  • Girly Bruiser: "combined with athletic to result" or "various traits can result in this when combined with athletic."
  • Nature Lover: "one trait is 'loves the outdoors'" (with '' signs).
  • Shy Blue-Haired Girl: "blue-haired girl", as in the trope name.

Rejoice!

Ok, let's finish entries for this flick. As always, please post after checking

Everly

  • Obvious CGI: In every action scene with him, Banzai the dog is replaced with a CGI model. The CGI is suprisingly good, but still visible.
  • Only a Flesh Wound: Played With. Everly get shot in the kidney and later in her shoulder with apparently no ill impact on her performance and she's even hit directly in her punctured side a few times without sustaining disabling pain or any serious blood loss. But when Taiko puts his finger into one of the wounds, she screams at the top of her lungs and winces in pain like mad. She also suffers trendemous, but relatively slow blood loss during the film and near-death experience by the end.
  • The Only One Allowed to Defeat You: Taiko beheads the mook who almost killed Everly with a LAW rocket without a single word.
  • The Peeping Tom: There are cameras all over the building, since Taiko likes both to be in control and "to watch". It's even briefly discussed between Everly and one of the mooks.
  • Rule of Cool: Sai-wielding hooker with an attitude, Torture Technician assisted by four people in kabuki costumes, SWAT-disguised mooks on zip lines, Yakuzas, katana duel... you get the picture.
  • Spiritual Licensee: Of Neil Marshall's and Bharat Nalluri's Killing Time, where a single hitwomen is defending herself in a hotel room from a few waves of thugs trying to take her down.
  • Stray Shots Strike Nothing: Averted. Zelda's client was accidently shot when few bullets penetrated a plaster wall separating two apartments.
  • Throw-Away Guns: Justified, as all weapons Everly get are those collected from killed enemies - she has no way to reload any of them.
  • Token Good Teammate: The unnamed mook shot in the abdomen, who assists Everly and helps her as much as he can.
  • Token Minority: Zelda, the only black character.
  • We Have Reserves: Taiko couldn't care less about his men.
  • Why Don't You Just Shoot Him?: Invoked. Taiko is deliberately toying with Everly to make her suffer as much as possible before personally killing her.

for Western Animation in the My Little Pony entry there should be a mention how users on Deviant Art have ponified popular characters before Friendship is Magic including characters like Cthulhu, Batman, and Toph Bei Fong.

Done... So, Wasteland 2?

  • Air-Vent Passageway: One of the ways to navigate under Darwin Village requires from entire Team Echo - up to seven grown up people with tons of military equipment - to crawl in ventilation duct. And doing it silently.
  • Back Tracking: So much and done in such blunt way it's sometimes entirely possible to go and brew some tea while your Rangers are busy running from point A to B in bigger locations. Maze-like level architecture only makes it worse, since it takes few all-around circles to traverse relatively short distances.
  • Battle in the Rain: It's always raining upon entering Damonta and facing the small army of robots.
  • Butch Lesbian: Hopi and Magee, the lesbian couple from Damonta. They both are tough as nails and are explicity noted for their manly attire. It also turns out Magee has unladylike real name - Bernice.
  • Crapsaccharine World: Angel Oracle is prosperous community ruled by good manners and everyone is very polite. They also practice ritual cannibalism and kill people for such things like not keeping your bunk clean or having a dandruff.
  • Cure for Cancer: Doctor Tidemann jokingly remarks that's the only thing that could save him at this stage of his lung cancer. You can find a full cabinet of literal universal cure for cancer in Darwin Village, created many years ago by Finster. If you provide Tidemann with them, he will not only be cured, but reverse-engineer those pills.
  • Child Soldier: Ralphy Parker, one of recruitable NPCs, is a teen somewhere between 13 and 16.
  • Disappeared Dad: Ralphy Parker's dad, Rannel, left his family many years ago. You can meet him later in the Canyon of Titan.
  • Divided We Fall: If Rangers won't interfere in Rail Nomads' conflict in any way, both tribes will wipe each other out. This will also leave Arizona without any mass transportation.
  • Dump Stat:
    • Luck is widely acclaimed as one, since it's better to be predictably good than have a random chance to be great.
    • Believe it or not, but Coordination, the main provider of Action Points, is a complete waste during character creation. It's entirely possible to make characters with dumped Coordination and have as much AP as with high starting one, all while enjoying the benefits of other stats being higher.
    • The only thing Charisma is used for is radius of Leadership skill and for recruiting NPCs. Since it can be temporary increased for the recruitment and NPCs may be trained with Leadership...

Gushing About Characters You Like / Anime and Manga

  • Wolfs Rain
    • Kiba, on top of being a drop dead gorgeous Bishonen, he's cool-headed, sweet, fights to protect his friends and his determination to find paradise as well as his love for Cheza make him a down right poignant character. So sad that he had to watch all his friends die and then had to die all alone, he deserved a much happier ending.

Female Gaze under Anime and Manga

  • The opening of Wolfs Rain provides us with a nice shot of Kiba's rear.
    • Within the series itself, we also get the scenes of a wounded and recuperating Kiba with his shirt off.

Quick question

Why do some characters say "I am magic" instead of "I am magical"?

"Magic" and "magical" are both adjectives in common usage. For example, "magic weapon" — that's the adjective form. A strict pedant might insist on it being called a "magical weapon", but grammar is defined by its usage, and nobody but a pedant would consider that wrong.

I have seen it mostly in fiction. For instance steven universe from his namesake show said "I am magic" and I don't recall other example but I have heard other characters saying it like that. I am pretty sure I have heard phrases like "she is magic" rather than "she is magical".

I am just wondering if it is acceptable for writing.

...Well in my case I got confused because I am not a native english speakertongue. I hope I didn't come as a pedant.

EDIT: Thanks for clarifying! btw

You're welcome. I think the boat sailed on "magic" as an adjective way back at the start of the Dungeons & Dragons era.

I wish some edits to be made to the tropes i proposed to The Sims 3

Here is a edit i feel should be included in Heteronormative Crusader

Why do some characters say "I am magic" instead of "I am magical"?

"Magic" and "magical" are both adjectives in common usage. For example, "magic weapon" — that's the adjective form. A strict pedant might insist on it being called a "magical weapon", but grammar is defined by its usage, and nobody but a pedant would consider that wrong.

Technically using magic that way is grammatically correct, because of the English rules on using nouns as adjectives (See Here). It mainly works because it's an analytical language, so word meaning can be defined by syntax (so if you put a noun where an adjective should be in a sentence, the clever thing'll take it in its stride and work as an adjective as best it can). For example: "Show me the squirrel book." works just as well as "Show me the green book."; "I can't stand the puddle boy." works as well as "I can't stand the young boy." and so on (as long as you know or can guess what squirrel and puddle mean in that context).

So not only would they be pedantic, they'd technically be wrong. tongue

Because they double check on the text in their addpost function before clicking "Send", presumably.

Alright, I will try. Here is some tropes that I would like to add to the Fallout 2 page:

  • Anti-Frustration Features: Most of them are improvements over the first Fallout, such as:
    • You can now issue more orders to your companions, including weapon preferences and combat behaviour.
    • Your companions also scale with levels, making them more useful in the lategame than in Fallout.
    • There is an immensively helpful "Push" command, which pushes NPCs out of your your way.
    • Inventory was made more practical by increasing money counter by one digit (no you can move up to 9999 dollars while bartering) and by inclusion of "Take all" button.

  • Bag of Spilling: If anything goes wrong during an Optional Sexual Encounter in Modoc, your entire inventory will end up on the floor; for extra cruelty, ammo and the healing items must be picked one by one.

  • Deep South: All over the place, but especially Modoc. It's a small farmer town, where you get a Brother–Sister Incest, a Shotgun Wedding, random encounters with the Moonshiners, and Torches and Pitchforks if they attack the Slags.
    • Redding mixes this with Western mining town, completely with The Sheriff and an Abandoned Mine. On the other hand, Broken Hills come out more like a subversion.

  • Enemy Scan: The Awareness perk, which shows you enemy's Hit Points, type of armour equipped and curently used weapon.

  • Last of His Kind: Goris after the Enclave kills all intelligent deathclaws from the Vault 13.

  • The Dead Have Names: Parodied with the Golgotha and The Den graveyard - inscriptions on the graves are among the most funny things in the entire game.

  • Timed Mission: You have to get Chip's spleen within five days - otherwise he will die from an infection.

Enemy Scan and Last of His Kind need to be expanded. You forgot the capitalization on the last two.
