Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness
- Victor Gains Loser's Powers: One of the Darkhold's rituals allows a mage take their victim's powers, which would kill them. Wanda comes dangerously close to claiming America's powers, but is thankfully stopped by Strange and Wong.

All right. Streak resets...
Streak: 0
Now, for this thing in Live A Live - Middle Ages and Spoiler Characters, it's basically a new section, a new character that hasn't been added.
The King of Lucrece
The beloved king of Lucrece. He’s looking for a suitable heir to inherit his kingdom. For that, he holds a tournament of arms where the winner will become Alethea’s husband and thus be the next in line to rule the kingdom.
- Hundred Percent Adoration Rating: He is greatly loved by everyone in Lucrece. Tragically, it’s for this reason that the people are so utterly angry with Oersted when they think that the young knight killed him.
How does this one go? If this goes well, the next parts will be about adding one or more extra tropes for him.

Chidori Takase
- Four Eyes, Zero Soul: She wears glasses and is willing to use Tatsuki as a guinea pig for her AIS experiments. She's also willing to use her AI system to cheat during Gunpla Battle Tournaments, which makes her the next antagonist after Touma moves on from being Ryūsei's main rival.

Grace Augustine's folder
- Cynical Mentor: When Jake signs up for the Avatar program, she was initially cold to him and deemed him less capable than his deceased older brother. Over the course of the film, she lightens up to the paraplegic test subject.

I used 'presents' because we see the backstory itself, as opposed to just being told about it. "The backstory is" would probably be better English.
Bow to the Prototypesome tropes for Momonosuke
- Holding Out for a Hero: Inverted. After Luffy defeats Kaido, Momonosuke is aware that the Straw Hats have to leave Wano and can't remain to protect it, so he confronts Admiral Ryokugyu alone to prove that his country can defend itself without help.
- Instant Expert: Downplayed. Forced by dramatic circumstances, Momonosuke has to learn how to use his powers, such as flying and creating clouds, in a very short time, but his first attempts are clunky at best. Notably, after a first failed attempt, he quickly figures out how to shoot a Blast Breath as strong as Kaido's, which makes Admiral Ryokugyu visibly panic.
- Person of Mass Destruction: Momonosuke's Devil Fruit is extremely powerful, just like Kaido's. When he masters Blast Breath, he shoots multiple attacks at once, burning to the ground an entire forest created by Admiral Aramaki.
- Warrior Prince: After becoming Wano's new shogun, Momonosuke also becomes his country's main defender. When Admiral Aramaki goes to the Flower Capital, Momonosuke and some of the Akazaya Nine confront him to prove that Wano can defend itself without the aid of the Straw Hats.
for Kyros/Thunder Soldier
Introduced as a one-legged toy soldier, who is also a criminal in Dressrosa, with a grudge against Doflamingo and plots with the Tontatta to remove him from the throne. He quickly aligns with the Straw Hats and offers to help Franky take down the Smile factory. He also shares a past with Rebecca, having taken care of her after her mother's death and trained her to fight without hurting people.
He's later revealed to actually be Kyros, the legendary champion of the Corrida Colosseum and Rebecca's father, turned into a toy by Sugar. In the past, he used to be a violent criminal, until king Riku talked him into a better person. After saving Scarlett, Riku's eldest daughter, she fell in love with him and the two had a secret marriage, from which Rebecca was born. Unfortunately, it ended in tragedy after Doflamingo usurped the Riku family.
Kyros is a formidable warrior, the best of all Dressrosa, and fights using a sword. He's very loyal to Riku and cares a lot for his daughter, whom he wishes to not take his path as a killer. Kyros is also full of doubts because of his past as a rebellious teen and can't forgive himself for having murdered people.
- An Arm and a Leg: Similar to The Steadfast Tin Soldier, Thunder Soldier is a toy soldier with just one leg.Ten years befor the events of Dressrosa, he was still a human, Kyros cut off his own leg to rush at Doflamingo, but was touched by Sugar and transformed into a toy, while also forgotten by everyone.
- Badass Cape: Kyros wears a red cape that makes him more imposing and, with its color, indicates that he can be violent in combat.
- BFS: As a human, his main weapon is a sword nearly as large as him, fitting for a skilled gladiator.
- Broken Ace: He's Dressrosa strongest fighter and the best gladiator ever seen in the Corrida Colosseum, but he's also full of regret and self-loathing for his murderous past and considers himself unworthy of having a loving family and a happy life. It didn't help that, when he was a gladiator, the crowd kept hating him for the same reasons.
- Foil: Kyros acts as a contrast to Diamante, who is also his arch-enemy for having killed his wife, Scarlett. Both are champions in the Corrida Colosseum but, while Kyros fights fairly with only his sword, Diamante uses his Devil Fruit to set traps and tricks to win. This is emphasized in their fight, where Diamante keeps Kyros on the edge by using said tricks. After Diamante decides to engage fairly in direct combat, he gets struck down bywith a single strike from Kyros.
- Living Legend: He's actually Kyros, the strongest gladiator in the history of the Corrida Colosseum, holding an undefeated streak of 3000 victories — including fighting a giant and a Fish-man, the latter while underwater — and has a bronze statue to honor his "memory". During his entire career, he was only hit once, and only because he recognized that his latest opponent was King Riku in disguise. He's so strong that Doflamingo gives him a bounty as high as Zoro's.
- Once Done, Never Forgotten: Nobody, including Kyros himself, would let him live down the fact that he murdered someone in his youth to avenge his friend. In his entire gladiatorial career, people kept booing him in spite of his huge victory streak.
- Rugged Scar: Kyros has a single scar on his forehead, the only one he received in his gladiatoral career, which shows that he's a tough and experienced fighter.
Thanks a lot!

Macron's notesThe Flash 2014 S 8 E 19 Negative Part 1
- I Knew It!: Many fans have guessed that Deon hasn't been pulling a Face–Heel Turn — the Deon that Barry encountered during the last few episodes is really the Negative Still Force.
- Fury-Fueled Foolishness: The moment Barry learns of Nora working with Thawne, his hatred for his nemesis completely overwhelms him to the point that he locks her in the Pipeline without a second thought and later banishes her to the future, which leads to her using the Negative Speed Force. Barry realizes how he behaved horribly and works with Iris to make things right Nora.

- Played by: Nicholas Sidi

- Karma Houdini Warranty: His State Sec job lets him do whatever he wants to innocent people without fear of punishment...until Beria's downfall, which quickly leads to Kobulov's death during Krushchev's coup.

- Played by: Ruslav Neupokev
The father of a nuclear family. He is arrested during one of Beria's purges and is identified by his own son. He is later released during Beria's efforts to seem like a reformer.
- Allegorical Character: He's in the film to represent the scores of unnamed Soviet citizens who were arrested and dragged off into the night for little to no reason, and often after being denounced by a relative.

- Seen It All: As the wife of a major Soviet leader, she's familiar with the cutthroat world they live in and is barely fazed to hear about Molotov being on a list for the next purge (although she does show some sympathy for him).

Reposting my post after being buried in the thread and not getting a response.
Creating a new Trivia subpage for My Ideal Academia.
- What Could Have Been: In chapter 19 - "Sword in the Forest'', the author's note reveals that the author had rewritten the chapter's scenario many times before deciding on one. The iteration that doesn't make the final draft, for example:
- An iteration where Angra Mainyu doesn't use his new ability.
- An iteration where Midoriya rushes off recklessly Out of Character.
- An iteration where All-Might finds the Nomu and uses Gae Bolg for just a second.
For My Ideal Academia.
- Animal Jingoism: Kenji, the dog-headed chief of the Musutafu police forces, and Ragdoll, the cat-themed professional hero, can't stand each other and start bickering when near each other. When Yu asks why Aizawa says it's just a quarrel between a cat and a dog.
Folder->Wide Open Sandbox
- Elden Ring has the Fingercreepers, which look like ten-fingered hands. They are the size of dogs at their smallest or car-sized at their biggest. They're also worthy of being a Lightning Bruiser, able to speed towards players and kill them quickly. They hide above players as well as below for stealth attacks.
- Abusive Parents: Carmen does love her daughters, and much of her beliefs stem from her poor, uncultured upbring, but this doesn't change the fact that she doesn't respect them, she keeps shifting between the Manipulative Bastard and the The Bully, and when they stand up for themselves, she sees it as an insult against her. Not to mention how she underestimates Estella's authority on the job, while berating Ana for being overweight, over and over.
- Hypocrite: Ana and Estella's mother is this to them.
- She doesn't approve the fact that Ana is overweight, pointing out this trope whenever she can. This would almost be reasonable if it wasn't that Carmen's reason for wanting Ana to lose weight is only for her to be, in her opinion, more attractive and so more likely to find a man, as Carmen herself is overweight, but she feels justified, being already married.
- She keeps berating Ana also for not being like Estella, but the truth is that she sees the latter as a failure as well for not having got married.
- Ignorant of Their Own Ignorance: Carmen is so ignorant that her character's role can be seen almost as comedic, despite the film being a drama with her acting as the antagonist.
- Her views of life are so outdated, especially regarding the future of an 18-year-old girl living in the 21st century United States, that many other characters struggle to truly argue with her, knowing how she truly can't understand why Ana's academic ambition is normal.
- In her fifties, she realizes she is out of her period. Her conclusion? She is pregnant! It is necessary to argue with her daughter and a visit to the doctor to accept that she is not and to learn something about menopause.
- She is convinced that Ana would learn much more from her than from any university, as Carmen believes that what matters is to learn to work and be a proper wife and mother. This makes the situation even more ironic, as Carmen is far from being perfect in both things.
- It's All About Me: Carmen wants her daughters to behave... so to not embarrass her; and just after she finds out she can't be a mother to any more children, she quickly declares that Ana should... so she can be a grandmother, much to the girl's chagrin.

more tropes for Kyros/Thunder Soldier (NOTE: Kyros's criminal and gladiatoral life, Rebecca's birth, Scarlett's death and Thunder Soldier growing up Rebecca happened before the story started and are shown only in flashbacks, that's why those events are written in the past tense)
- Action Dad: Kyros is the Champion of the Corrida Colosseum as well as Scarlett's husband and Rebecca's father. With the death of his wife at the hands of Diamante, Kyros, while turned into a soldier, dedicated his life to his daughter, raising and training her even if Rebecca doesn't have any memory of him. During the climax of the Dressrosa Arc, Kyros fights Diamante to protect Rebecca and avenge Scarlett.
- Curb-Stomp Battle: His fight with Diamante lasts for a while because he tries to protect and prevent Rebecca from soiling her hands. The moment Robin arrives and keeps Rebecca safe, nothing Diamante throws at Kyros works, and the moment the latter gets in range, Diamante goes down in one hit.
- Determinator: He gets hit by a lot of falling Spike Balls of Doom during his fight with Diamante and keeps on going, saying that no real warrior would be intimidated by such attacks, while Diamante looks on in shock.
- Disappeared Dad: Played with. Rebecca doesn't have any memories of Kyros, her father, and thus believes herself to have grown up fatherless, not counting Thunder Soldier. In truth, she lost her memories pf him after he got turned into a toy, the same one that took care of her after her mother died. When Kyros is turned back into a human and Rebecca regains her memories, she bursts into tears at the sudden realization that she always had her father at her side.
- Doting Parent: In Rebecca's childhood, Kyros at first refused to touch her, not wanting to soil such a pure angel with his dirty hands, and cried from happiness whenever he played with her. Following Scarlett's death, Kyros, transformed into a toy, .took care of Rebecca as she grew up even if she didn't recognize or even remember him.
- Earn Your Happy Ending: As a teen, Kyros was a criminal who lived on the streets, then became a gladiator but was hated by everyone because of his past crimes. He found some happiness when he became a royal guard and then married Scarlett in secret and had a daughter with her, and, while he kept self-loathing and thinking himself to be unworthy of it, he had an happy life. Unfortunately, when the Donquixote Pirates arrived, he was turned into a toy and forgotten by everyone, including his wife, who got killed shortly after, and his daughter. After enduring and fighting Doflamingo's tyranny for ten years, Luffy ends Doflamingo's rule, Kyros is turned back into a human and gets to live happily with his daughter, who chooses by her own will to stay with him rather than being a princess.
- Forced Transformation: Like all living toys, Thunder Soldier is one of the many victims of Sugar's Hobby-Hobby fruit, although he remains a fearful warrior.
- Heartbroken Badass: Kyros' wife was killed ten years before the events of the Dressrosa Arc, when the Donquixote Pirates invaded Dressrosa, and he still mourns her death. He finds some peace after he defeats Diamante, the man who killed her, and avenges her.
- Morphic Resonance: Kyros cut off his left leg to free himself and rush at Doflamingo but got turned into a toy soldier that misses its left leg as well, making clear to everyone who he is when he's turned back.
- Never Got to Say Goodbye: Tragically, despite his wife dyingied in his hands, Kyros was turned into a toy and forgotten by everyone, which meant they couldn't properly say goodbye. To make it even more tragic, as a toy, Kyros couldn't even cry or feel Scarlett's body.
- Spanner in the Works: Since he retained his free will after becoming a Living Toy, he manages not just to train and take care of Rebecca, but to organize a rebellion with the Tontatta against Doflamingo, which helps the Straw Hats to destroy the Smile Factory and knock out Sugar. The latter even turns every living toy back to their original form and brings back everyone's memory, revealing Doflamingo's terrible actions against his people.
- Two Aliases, One Character: Thunder Soldier and Kyros are introduced, respectively, as a criminal toy who wants to remove Doflamingo from the throne and as the best gladiator to ever fight in the Corrida Colosseum. In chapter 739, it's not only revealed that Kyros was turned into a toy and took the alias of Thunder Soldier, but that he's also Rebecca's father and King Riku's son-in-law.
- Your Head A-Splode: Defied. Gladius grabs Thunder Soldier and inflates his head to make it explode, but Luffy stops him just in time.
for Raizo
- Playing with Fire: Raizo summons a fire jutsu against admiral Ryokugyu. Unfortunately for him, the admiral is prepared against this weakness and is not hurt by his attack.
for Usopp
- Disappeared Dad: Yasopp, Usopp's father, left when he was little to follow Shanks and his crew. Despite having been abandoned, Usopp never resents his father and even admires him, to the point that his desire is to became a brave warrior like his dad. When his mother was dying, Usopp began his daily tradition of crying out that pirates are arriving to make her (and himself) believe that his father is returning.
Thanks a lot!

- For the Evulz: The bar massacre (and the large amount of gloating between killing victims) seems to be done mainly out of cruel boredom. Despite their constant need for blood, the vampires are never shown drinking the blood of any of the victims after shooting them or slitting their throats.
@ Magnificent Bastard Dr. Gideon Fell: The Crooked Hinge: John Farnleigh is a rebellious and hedonistic young aristocrat who loses his legs in a fight with another boy seeking to steal his identity. He spends the next twenty-five years as a carnival hustler, alternating between using prosthetic legs or pretending to be a dwarf rather than legless, then learns his former assailant is impersonating him, has inherited the family fortune, and is married to John's childhood friend Molly. John enters a relationship with Molly, who is being blackmailed by her husband, and they plot to kill the fake John Farnleigh. Wearing hidden prosthetics, John arrives at his ancestral home, charms the false John's circle of acquaintances, acts like he's certain to prove his identity as the real heir and has nothing to fear, then kills his Identity Impersonator while using his hidden reduced stature to stay out of sight below a hedge and make it look like his victim was stabbed while standing alone. As the investigation gets closer to him, rather than protect his secrets by killing three innocent people who he likes, John flees the country with Molly, then sends Fell a friendly letter with the full story sometime later.Edited by Melinda on Aug 1st 2022 at 10:12:16 AM
