Power Rangers Time Force character page
Ransik
- Diabolical Mastermind: An intelligent criminal mastermind who basically ruled and threatened the entire city with his army which he forged through his sheer charisma and will power. Unlike other villains in the franchise, Ransik also desires both power and money and his schemes are often geared just as much towards increasing his wealth as it is to plots to destroy the city like a classic Power Rangers Big Bad.
- Faux Affably Evil: Ransik is calm, cultured and snarky and even pretty funny at times but can get very nasty if he's pushed towards his enemies and is even willing to threaten his minions if they get out of line. That he said is genuinely kind to his daughter.
Nadira
- The Heavy: Her father Ransik is the Big Bad but is a laidback sort and prefers to plot in the background usually which leaves Nadira as the one who usually leads the monster attacks on the city as well directly attacking the Time Force rangers.

After Aerys, <- comma at Tywin's wedding, compares himself to all of the great kings of the Westeros...Maegor the Cruel to that list.
^ As originally written, you said that all of the great kings of the Westeros were at Tywin's wedding. When you put one phrase (e.g. "at Tywin's wedding") right after another phrase (e.g. "all of the great kings of the Westeros"), the second phrase modifies or applies to the preceding phrase. To make it clear what you mean, you need to put the phrase as close as possible after what it's modifying, as I did in my correction, not tack it on at the end of the sentence.

His romance with Rayla, especially, has the feeling of it being an extension of their friendship.

I said fish instead of mammal because I was paraphrasing the characters.
- Evil Is Cool: Mob-Affiliated Control Freak casino manager Shelly is a monstrously cruel and corrupt guy in a lot of scenes, but his clinging to the nostalgia of old Las Vegas and sleek, authoritative manner make him an engaging character even without his Pet the Dog moments.
- One-Scene Wonder: Buddy, the world-weary, heroin-addicted old school lounge singer who spends his one scene being a Morality Pet of sorts for Shelly and displaying some impressive insight about how the two of them are facing the End of an Age.
- They Wasted a Perfectly Good Plot: It can feel wasteful how Bernie never interacts with his son and daughter-in-law again after he finds out they were using him, they watch him assume a large debt to protect them, and Mikey gets injured in a way a lot like Bernie did six years ago.
- The Death of Stalin: General Zhukov and his soldiers do almost all of the work in the coup against Hate Sink Beria, while Krushchev and the other politicians merely stand poised to conduct a show trial and then step into Beria's shoes. Zhukov and his men succeed almost effortlessly.
Chad Brantley
- Voiced by: Adam Gates
A talk-show host who appears in the second movie. Both of his attempts to interview Elastigirl are interrupted by Screenslaver.
- Lantern Jaw of Justice: He has a long jaw and thick chin and is a media personality who seems interested in helping superheroes make a comeback.
- Nice Guy: He's polite to Elastigirl during both of her visits to his show. The second time, he also seems fine with talking about how he got hypnotized and embarrassed by Screenslaver earlier in the film.
- Sharp-Dressed Man: As befitting a TV personality, he wears nice suits.

Example of Wrong Genre Savvy:
- Tantei Opera Milky Holmes: In a moment of genre-savviness during a Closed Circle mystery, Nero accuses the wheelchair-bound old man on the grounds that in detective fiction, it is common for a culprit to fake a disability to avoid suspicion. When the butler is revealed to be the culprit, she dismisses the idea because she knows that "The Butler Did It" was actually never a cliche. What she forgets is that they are in a parody of detective fiction. The butler really did it, and the very obvious clues pointing to him weren't Red Herrings.
She was right about the old man faking a disability, but he was just their mentor disguised to investigate discreetly and check on how they were doing.
And a example of Memorial for the Antagonist:
- Embalming: After taking down Wraith, Fury asks Aberdine that his body be brought to the manor where they grew up and given a proper burial and a gravestone, not too far, nor too close to Edel's grave. This is because before dying and being reanimated as a Frankenstein, subsequently turning into a Yandere and killing Edel in a fit of jealousy, Wraith was Fury and Edel's best friend. So while Fury hates Frankenstein!Wraith for what he did, he still wants his friend's body to be buried properly.

- The Bookworm is probably the most popular one-shot Villain of the Week due to his literary-themed capers, his well-developed personality, and his costume (particularly the reading lamp attached to his hat).
@ Batman (1966): Rogues Gallery
Pauline
- Played by: Sherry Jackson
- Decoy Damsel: She wears a Little Bo Peep costume and runs up to Robin, talking about how her brother has been kidnapped. Then, once Robin drops his guard, she gasses him into unconsciousness.
- Defiant Captive: After being captured, she refuses to tell Batman anything that might help him catch Riddler or rescue a captive Robin. Batman has to use a form of truth serum on her to get any information.
- Shes Got Legs: One of her costumes bares her legs, something the camera pays attention to.
Blimpy
The most prominent of the three aviation-themed thugs working for the Puzzler.
- Stout Strength: He’s quite plump (and sensitive about it), but is a decent brawler. Blimpy also takes advantage of his girth by sitting on Robin after knocking him down.
- This Is Gonna Suck: During the climax, he is the first villain to notice that the heroes have arrived and resignedly points at them without saying a word, while sporting an unhappy expression.

Folder->Archie MacMillan
- Fantasy-Forbidding Father: During Evan's childhood, he forbid him from so much as sketching.
"Evan enjoys creating something from nothing. He's not an artist, but he enjoys sketching and he hides his sketches from his father. His father forbids sketching. Sketching is for weaklings, vagabonds, gypsies. He wants Evan to do worthy things."
- Kick Them While They're Down: He kicks and beats a sick mine worker who can't work anymore, fires him, then has Evan drag him out of the mine.
Folder->Ashton
- Paper-Thin Disguise: If Isabella is alive during Ashton's chapter, when you look at the Open House sign-in sheet, he signed his name as "Ash Lee." Even he realizes that was a boneheaded move since Johannes would not only see through it, but even Isabella calls him out on it.
Folder-> Tropes Applying to Several Characters
- Entitled to Have You: Many of the central characters have this attitude when it comes to romantic attraction of any kind, to the point where it's the driving motive behind their action. When their feelings end up unrequited, they (and the narrative) will constantly threat the object of their affections as if they're to blame for their misery and any misfortune that ''they themselves'' inflicted on others, simply because they weren't automatically loved back.
Folder-> Ath-Lita
- Adaptational Villainy: More recent rewrites tend to make her even more abusive to the point where she doesn't just attack her brother, but random ponies in a rather out of character manner. All for the sake of making Talon look better by comparison.
Folder-> Courier
- Too Dumb to Live: Chrysalis' curse will kill him if he comes into contact with a "a creature of great love". Despite knowing this he never thinks to skip town the moment he finds out Cadance, The Princess of love, is in the same town as him.
