For Tsukihime's tearjerker page

As a Moments subpage, all spoilers are unmarked as per policy. You Have Been Warned.

"...Why? That's fine. I was okay with the way I was. If you were happy, then I was happy. I-I was always protected by you, so...I was always happy.."note
I see...I guess it was only an illusion after all. It hurts. That's why...I wanted to become a doll...

If one is softhearted enough, Tsukihime seems to run on these, with each route having one or two. Quite appropriate for a story focusing on death as a central theme.

Arcueid

  • Arcueid's backstory is immersive enough for you to shed tears as she had been treated as a weapon by the true ancestors instead of a human being as she had never experienced an emotion of happiness or made a single attachment to anyone as she was forced against her will to go into hibernation then wakes up to exterminate Roa every time he reincarnates in another host then went back into hibernation and repeat the same process again for over 800 years.

@Arivne Here are a few more tropes, and I hope they didn't contain any mistakes.

For UnMetal

  • The Stinger: The scene after the end credits implies that Jesse Fox made the whole story up just to score with his girlfriend.

For Kamen Rider Amazon

  • Was Once a Man: In Episode 12, a human criminal is modified by Geddon to become the Ant Beastman.

For Film/Seven Chances

  • On One Condition: In order to gain the inheritance, James must get married by the end of his 27th birthday.

For Kamen Rider OOO

  • Bittersweet Ending: OOO and Ankh defeated Maki in his Greeed form, and the other core medals are destroyed, meaning the Greeed are gone for good. Sadly, Ankh is gone as well, leaving only a half-broken Taka O medal that contained his personality. The series ends with Eiji once again travelling the world, only this time he keeps in contact with the friends he made during the series, and the spirit of Ankh’s arm following him.

For Kamen Rider BLACK

  • Anti-Anti-Christ: Kohtaro Minami becomes this when his father sacrifices his life to prevent him from becoming the Creation King.

  • Finishing Move: His signature moves are Rider Punch and Rider Kick.

  • Back from the Dead: After Kamen Rider Black is killed by Shadow Moon, the Whale Mutant manages to retrieve his corpse and revived him with a special potion.

For Little Nicky

  • Creator Cameo: Steven Brill makes an appearance as a reporter talking to a boy during the basketball game.

For Kamen Rider Amazon

  • Bittersweet Ending: With his mission complete, Amazon returns to the rainforest where he lived because it is his true home. However, Tobei believes he will come back if evil terrorizes Japan again.

ForStar Trek S2 E1 "Amok Time"

This shows that while the movie may be over, Mei and her friends will continue to have more adventures in the future.

^ Zero-Context Example. You need to make it clear that he tends to use these moves to finish a battle.

  • Back from the Dead: After Kamen Rider Black is killed by Shadow Moon, the Whale Mutant manages to retrieve his corpse and revive him with a special potion.

Star Trek S2 E1 "Amok Time"

  • Big "NO!": Leonard shouts a terrifying "NO!" when a pon farr-riddled Spock comes (superfluous word - cut) close to beheading his captain.

Turning Red

  • And the Adventure Continues: The movie ends with Mei (remove comma) fully embracing her red panda form, (comma, superfluous word - cut) repairing her relationship with her mother Ming and going off to hang out with Miriam, Priya, Abby, and Tyler again. This shows that, (comma) while the movie may be over, Mei and her friends will continue to have more adventures in the future.

Hi fellas. It's me again. Let's have another try.

Some Headscratchers for Daredevil (2003) and some character tropes for Daredevil (2003):

  • At the beginning, after Matt Murdock wakes up in the hospital and finds out he can't see, his father tearily apologizes for what happened, so Matt hugs him and assures him that everything will be right. Doesn't seem that Matt recovered too quickly from losing his sight? Due to what his father indirectly caused, the kid should be angry with him, maybe even punch or throw things at him for what happened. The Marvel Cinematic Universe's Matt Murdock did react horrified when he was blinded, so why doesn't this Matt didn't flinch at all when he was blinded?
  • Why didn't Kingpin kill Matt Murdock when he was a child? Ben Urich later tells Matt that when Kingpin has someone killed, he also kills that someone's family for good measure. It's not like anyone would notice, given how Jack wasn't a renowned wrestler but more of an underground boxer.
  • Why does exactly causes Jose Quesada to not be able to move when falls into the train tracks? Did Daredevil break something of his body so he would not be able to escape? Couldn't he just get up off the tracks before the train sliced him?
  • Can a paperclip serve as a lethal projectile that way? The distance between the bully patron and Bullseye wasn't very great and a paperclip is unlikely to get stabbed into someone's skin unless it's shot through a gun or something. By the way, how can Bullseye shape the paperclip that perfect?
  • Before the passengers departed from the plane, no stewards or stewardesses noticed that the old woman who sit along Bullseye was dead? Yeah, one could assume that she was eating the peanut Bullseye shot into her mouth, but then that would not raise suspicions on why didn't Bullseye try to do the Heimlich maneuver to save her?
  • Why does Elektra mistake Daredevil for Bullseye? Didn't she see that the club shot towards her father came from a far distance than from where Daredevil was?
  • As Daredevil escapes from the church to stop Kingpin, Father Everett wishes him good luck by saying "Good luck, son". Couldn't he be questioned if he said this near two cops? They would possibly force him to reveal how he knows that masked man who just threw another through a window into a police car.
  • Once Kingpin is send to prison, Daredevil returns to where his father died, he assures him that he has been avenged and drops one of Kingpin's roses to the asphalt? How does this exactly honor her father? His father was killed by Kingpin, who later left a rose behind to indicate his success. By dropping the rose, isn't he disrespecting his father's death?
    Old Man
  • Abled in the Adaptation: Assuming he is intended to be the old blind man whom Matt Murdock saved in the source material's origin story, he can at least see in this version. The problem is that he is a bit clueless.
  • Ambiguous Situation: May or may not be the same entity as The Watcher Informant.
  • Creator Cameo: One of Smilin' Stan's many trademarks. He appears as a clueless man whom a young and blind Matt Murdock saves from being run over due to being too focused reading his newspaper while walking through the street.
  • Mythology Gag: While not confirmed, it's possible that this character's cameo is a reference to how Matt Murdock was blinded in the comic books when he prevented the truck with the chemicals which blinded him from running over a blind old man.
  • Too Dumb to Live: Focusing on reading your newspaper while crossing the street isn't a very good idea. Averted thanks to Matt Murdock's intervention.

And part of WMG speculation for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness:

  • Colin Farrell's Bullseye
    • He was left hospitalized at the end of Daredevil, so what if he has been healed back and resumed his fights against Daredevil? Maybe he knows follows him into the multiverse?

I wanna add this one to the Wheel of Time page in the Tom Merrilin entrance. Since it is rather present during Books 4-5-6-7. And even afterwards Elayne keeps thinking of Tom as a substitute father. While Tom does think of Elayne as a daughter. Given Tom's and Morgase story, this of course fits.

Hi fellas. It's me again. Let's have another try.

A character trope for Total Drama Screaming Gophers:

  • Not So Above It All: Even though he is obsessed with his good looks and is somewhat effeminate in caring for his good appearance, it's hinted that Justin enjoys gross things, given how he praised Owen for burping the whole alphabet during the talent show challenge.

Five character tropes for Total Shuffled Island Series:

  • Earn Your Happy Ending: Even though he gets eliminated first, Cody gets to join a band with Harold, Trent and Justin in the non-canonical ending where Harold wins due to knowing how to play the keys.
  • Earn Your Happy Ending: Despite his sour elimination, Trent makes up with his friends during the season finale, gets to join a band with Harold, Cody and Justin in the non-canonical ending where Harold wins due to knowing how to play the guitar and starts a relationship with Gwen.
  • Jerkass Ball: During the air race challenge, Trent becomes so obsessed with avenging Gwen's elimination that he refuses to help Courtney when she is attacked by a mutant insect during the go-karts challenge and gets angry at Jasmine and Harold for accidentally interfering in his way to stop Courtney from winning the air race challenge, even accusing Harold of being a traitor to his proposed alliance when everyone votes him off after the challenge.
  • Long-Distance Relationship: Implied by Gwen in All-Stars. When asked about Trent's refusal to return for the fifth season, Gwen states that they are still together and making their relationship work out despite not living near each other.
  • Revenge Before Reason: Following Gwen's elimination at Courtney's hands, Trent obsesses so much with voting off Courtney that he ends up disturbing his fellow contestants, leading them to vote him off after the air race challenge, much to his anger. He does admit his mistakes and apologizes during the season finale, however.

Three characters tropes and YMMV for Loud Ed Despair Island:

  • Adaptational Dumbass: Unlike the original Despair Island, Justin is much less intelligent here, prioritizing his good lucks over helping his team so he may survive. While he acts akin to his canon self, given how he later displayed scheming skills in canon, one can also say that he is dumber here, as canon Justin would have surely manipulated someone to vote off someone else.
  • Blood-Splattered Innocents: She reacts with disgust when Ed's blood hits her./Though not as innocent as her teammates, she understandably reacts with disgust when Ed's blood hits her. (NOTE: I have written two different lines because one example must be acknowledged in another way)
  • Mistaken for Gay: He accidentally kisses Cody's right cheek while sleeping, waking him up, causing both boys to scream horrified upon realizing it, which leads Ed to find cute that "his bullies are making love", much their anger and Kevin's amusement./He wakes up and screams horrified when he realizes that Noah was kissing his right cheek while they were sleeping, leading Ed to find cute that "his bullies are making love", much to their anger and Kevin's amusement. (NOTE:Same as before).
  • Unintentionally Unsympathetic: Noah and Cody are supposed to have the right of hating Ed for laughing at the executions of Justin and Beth, leading them to fight him when he finds a Life Idol and voting him off. However, just like Kevin points out, Ed doesn't know what happens most of the time and may not really understand the seriousness of the situation. Plus, Noah and Cody taking his Life Idol and giving it to DJ seems a bit cruel, as they could have gotten rid of Ed by having him leave the island with the idol.

And five character tropes for Despair Island:

  • Adaptational Modesty: She wears the same Ms. Fanservice outfit as in canon, but she is shown to wear a lacy bra when she lifts up her top during the paintball challenge, whereas her canon self didn't wear anything below her top.
  • All Men Are Perverts: Like in canon, he gets to see more of Heather's body, but rather than seeing her topless, he just stares at her accidentally exposing her bra when she lifts up her top.
  • Nothing Personal: After giving Cody the beating of his life for trying to user her lucky bra to get off (which Justin had stolen to frame Cody but Cody took it from Justin's pillow), leading the team to vote Cody off for his pervertedness and responsibility for they losing the cooking challenge, she assures Cody that while she doesn't regret what she did to his "pervy ass", she doesn't feel that he deserves to die. Once the two are in the bottom two, realizing that Cody futilely tried to vote her off, she concludes that she can't blame him for doing that.
  • Pet the Dog: He is pretty friendly with Harold, the first contestant who greets him upon his arrival at Camp Wawanakwa, accepting his handshake, later shivering sympathethically for him when Harold is given the dare to have all his facial hair plucked out by Chef due to his claims that his goatee makes him attractive, leading Alejandro to assure Harold that he doesn't envy him while he strokes his own soul patch, and praises his observational skills when Harold finds out during the pirate challenge that the maps are behind their clues.
  • Traumatic Haircut: More of a traumatic cut of facial hair here. During the Wheel of Pain challenge, Harold's dare is to have Chef pluck out his facial hair for ten seconds. He doesn't want to do it, as, according to him, his goatee is how he "gets all his chicks", but ultimately gives up and lets Chef do it, yet he is given no hydrogen peroxide for his bleeding chin.

P.S.: Thanks Clare for the corrections. In regard to the Watcher Informant thing, it's mentioned in almost every cameo Stan Lee had in every Marvel movie, due to James Gunn considering to have Lee mention his cameo in Deadpool in the second Guardians film, which would have meant that his cameo characters are the same individual.

Cross Tantei Monogatari (クロス探偵物語 or Cross Detective Story in English) is a Japanese detective mystery Adventure Game developed and published by Workjam on Sega Saturn (1998) and Play Station (1999).

Ken Kurosu lost his mother early in life and lived alone with his father, who died in a car accident when Ken was in elementary school. Several years later, after graduating from high school, Ken visits his late father’s grave and meets a woman who calls herself Natsuko Miki.
