This thread is for tropers who have trouble with English and would like some help with the crazy grammar of this crazy language.
Write down what you wish to edit on the wiki. If you have been suspended from editing, another troper might be kind enough to edit for you after your suggestions have been corrected.
The thread is for help and feedback on your own suggested edits.
If you want help correcting other people's edits (e.g., if you find a page which seems to have grammar problems but want a second opinion, or you don't feel able to fix it by yourself) then that's off-topic here, but we have a separate Grammar Police cleanup thread
that can provide assistance.

And just to be clear: Would you like me to continue to proofread all your posts, or only the trope examples?
Forget the whole Black Dude Dies First entry. Turns out that it's a duplicate entry, so I don't need it.

I would like you to continue proofread all my posts.
If it teaches me, then I am glad to learn.
Maybe someday, I will learn enough to make a nearly flawless edit in TV Tropes when I decide to have my suspension released on the condition that I check my edits first.
I used Reverso to check my spelling.

"Man, this is what I fear the most about editing now. And I'm still afraid of making new forum posts, because I worry that I might make another spelling mistake.
I am trying my best currently. I want to make sure that I don't make any mistakes while editing.
If a spell checker doesn't guarantee an edit without any mistakes in TV Tropes, then I'm not sure if I can ever improve enough to meet the standards of editing on this website.
I am taking my mistakes seriously, but the standards of editing in TV Tropes are too strict for me.
All I know is, I want to prove to myself that I can make a new page in TV Tropes without making more than ten, if not five, mistakes. In fact, I am more than happy to proofread the page that I am making.
I used Reverso to check my spelling."

Thanks for proofreading my posts. I am learning more about spelling now. And no, I am not being sarcastic.
Maybe someday, I'll ask the mods to release my suspension on the account that I will check my edits first.
I will take full responsibility when I get a second chance to edit again.
Meanwhile, I will make another example.
This time, an Adaptational Angst Upgrade example in Supermarioglitchy4s Super Mario 64 Bloopers.
- Adaptational Angst Upgrade: Played for Laughs with the Monster from Friday Night Funkin'. In the original game, the Monster is a sadistic Giant Space Flea from Nowhere. In "If Mario Was In.... Friday Night Funkin," the Monster has a tragic backstory for his motivations that Bob uses to roast the Monster.
I hope I didn't make a bad/zero-context example.
I used Reverso to check my spelling.

That example is good. No changes needed.

Michael: Thanks. And I didn't notice the mistake right there. Thanks for pointing out the mistake.
Anyways, I'll make another example.
This time, an Adaptational Wimp example in Supermarioglitchy4s Super Mario 64 Bloopers.
- Adaptational Wimp: Daddy Dearest from Friday Night Funkin' gets this treatment. In the original game, Daddy Dearest is a legitimately talented singer. In "If Mario Was In... Friday Night Funkin," Daddy Dearest gets his singing skills by assimilating the spirit of PaRappa the Rapper.

@Michael Katsuro
Thanks for the corrections on 467
Here a few examples I would appreciate someone having a look at.
1. An example for Honourbound, a Warhammer 40,000 book I am trying to make a work page for offline:
- Mind over Matter: Telekinesis is the primary ability of the Primaris Psyker Lydia Zane. She uses these abilities to break her enemies, reducing bodies to a bloody pulp and vehicles to their constituent parts. Zane will also cause small objects to orbit her head when she isn’t paying attention, or begins to lose control of her powers.
2. A rewrite of one of Skarr Bloodwrath's examples on Characters.Warhammer Age Of Sigmar Grand Alliance Chaos:
- Herd-Hitting Attack: Skarr’s Slaughterstorm ability allows him to sweep his brutal Bloodstorm Blades in wide arcs, increasing his attacks so that he can attack every model within range at the same time.
3. A revision to one of Trazyn's example on Characters.Warhammer 40000 Necrons:
- Herd-Hitting Attack: Trazyn’s Empathic Obliterator is designed to destroy swathes of enemies with a single hit. How this is represented differs depending on the edition, but all do some form of extra damage to units close to a model that Trazyn has killed.

- The 102-minute American cut of Virus (1980) ends with automated nuclear missiles going off toward the colony of the last surviving humans, with no indication that they'll survive, as An Aesop. The 155-minute Japanese version and the original novel both show people surviving in the aftermath of the missile strike.
Based on a 1964 novel by Sakyo Komatsu, Virus (also know as Day of Resurrection in some regions) is a 1980 post-apocalyptic film. In the first half of the book, a government bioweapon is accidentally released and decimates the planet, leaving the few survivors to eke out an existence in Antarctica. The rest of the story follows the people in Antarctica, and their attempts to stop an automated missile system aimed right at them from being triggered by an impending earthquake.
The original Japanese version of the film is 155 minutes long and was released in theaters. In America, the film aired on TV with a 102-minute cut that removed many scenes following Yoshimuzi, The Hero, as well as the more optimistic ending of the book and the Japanese cut.
George Kennedy (as Admiral Conway, the leader of an American Arctic base), Shinichi Chiba, Glenn Ford, Robert Vaughn, Chuck Connors (as a submarine captain), Henry Silva, and Olivia Hussey all appear in the movie.
Tropes:
- 20 Minutes into the Future
- The book was written in 1964 and begins around 1970.
- The film was made in 1980 and begins in 1982.
- Baby Factory: Less than twenty women of child-bearing age survive The Plague in Antarctica, and they end up required to have lots of kids to try to save humanity from going extinct.
- Ignored Expert: Dr. Meyer is the only scientist involved in the project that unleashes The Plague to realize its dangers and is institutionalized when he tries to get the project shut down. Well over 99% of humanity dies as a result of his warnings being ignored.
- Racial Remnant: The human race is apparently reduced to 886 people (10,000 in the original novel) who either lived in Antarctica during The Plague or managed to escape to there as the infection spread. Then those people find themselves scrambling to disarm an automated nuclear missile system before an earthquake causes it to irradiate Antarctica as well.
- Sole Surviving Scientist: Zigzagged in both the film and the book. Most of the surviving humans left in the world were stationed at scientific research stations in Antarctica. Still only a few have skills that are actually relevant for preventing The End of the World as We Know It.
- Yoshizumi is a seismologist who realizes that a series of earthquakes might set off an automated nuclear missile system and kill them all.
- Major Carter helped build that automated missile system and accompanies Yoshizumi to America to try and disarm it.
- Dr. Latour creates a vaccine for The Plague that wiped out the rest of humanity. He injects Carter, Yoshizumi, and those who flee for areas that are safe from the missiles but still contain the eponymous deadly virus.
- Warhawk: General Garland of the Joint Chiefs of Staff continuously assumes that the worldwide viral infection that is killing everybody is a Russian attack and partially arms an automated response system to nuke Russia in retaliation. He does this even after it becomes clear that Russia is also affected by The Plague, and that the Russians have an automated defense system that will cause Mutually Assured Destruction if America launches its missiles.

EDIT REQUEST FROM SUSPENDED TROPER
In the last paragraph of the description on Website.Fireball 20 XL, change "allegations" to "accusations".In the last sentence of the description of Webcomic.GG Guys, change "emotional and sexual abuse allegations involving minors against him" to "accusations of emotional and sexual abuse against him, which even involve minors being victimized". MichaelKatsuro can improve the phrase since he knows way more about English grammar than I.

Content Warning: My posts may involve my actions dealing with R-rated or Not Safe for Work content. Same for my edit history.Commas: "last surviving humans, with no indication that they'll survive, as..."
Author's name is Sakyo Komatsu.
You forgot to close the first parentheses.
"In the first half of the book, a government bioweapon is accidentally released and decimates the planet, leaving the few survivors to eke out an existence in Antarctica. The rest of the story follows the people in Antarctica, and their attempts to stop an automated missile system aimed right at them from being triggered by an impending earthquake.

"or managed to escape to there as the infection spread."
"General Garland of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Garland continuously assumes" needs fixing, but I think you can tell how.
EDIT REQUEST FROM SUSPENDED TROPER
@ Alternative Foreign Theme Song / Anime and Manga
- This
Cantonese Doraemon 1979 anime opening is entirely totally different. However, this opening is only used for 1991-1992 during the series' run on TVB, as many Cantonese peoples prefer to stick around with "Doraemon no Uta"...
This is something already added by me.
- The lost TVB Cantonese dub of the cartoon series, named Q版小時候, also have its Cantonese theme song named "The Journey of Love" (Chinese: 愛的旅途 Ài de lǚtú). Now you can hear it here.
- In 2021, the second episode of the Chinese animated series Wangpai Yushi has been allegedely disappeared online. Though no real reason were given, but allegedely there's a reason behind this might because of a scene featuring an brief cameo of Winnie-the-Pooh toy, with his face pixelatted.
(See the Western Animation folder for other informaton about the "Chinese ban" on Pooh Bear in question.)
- The another Chinese TV programming which getting taken down might no doubt to be Chinese boy band show "Youth With You" (with the airing of third season suspended) due to allegations surrounding the parents of one of the competitors, Tony Yu Jingtian, and an "controversy" invloving wasting large amounts of milk,
note which violating China's anti-food waste law (which was adpoted in April 29, 2021.) iQIYI, the producer of the show, has later released an apology about the controversy.

- Being Evil Sucks: Lionheart really hates his position as a cowardly turncoat. He fears either being exposed as a traitor to his nominal allies or being killed by Salem. He even has to throw Jaune, the one person he can be honest to, under the bus to save himself.
- Crouching Moron, Hidden Badass: Salem is a petulant brat with an ego the size of Remnant, but she's still a magically potent villainess with a Serial Killer as her assistant. And she's prepared to make those who threaten her very, very miserable.
- Everyone Has Standards: Salem demands unflinching obedience from her followers...but she does find Tyrian's slavish devotion to her annoying and weird.
- Friend to All Children: Tyrian is a..weird example of this trope. He does show some sympathy toward one of the street children who was a victim of human trafficking and has a weird affection for Jaune's nephew. On the other hand, he tries to drive the street child to violence and he is a terrible influence on Adrian.
- Guilt by Association Gag: When Atlas arrests Jaune due to his connection with Salem, they also arrest Saphron, Terra, and Adrian simply for being in Jaune's vicinity.
- Karmic Transformation:
- Salem invokes this on the Ace-Ops; since they behaved like Ironwood's trained pets, she'll turn them into dogs.
- Took a Level in Kindness: Salem gradually begins to show more and more acts of genuine kindness as the story progresses. She even softens her attitude toward Jaune.
- Tsundere: Salem wavers between belittling and bullying Jaune and praising him for his "devotion" to her. When Jaune takes a bullet for her, Salem reacts with varying degrees of anger, annoyance, and disbelief. She even gives Jaune a kiss while he's out cold, but also warns him not to tell anyone.
- Psychopathic Womanchild: Salem. She's fussy, demanding, and throws tantrums when she doesn't get what she wants. She also has a dangerous amount of magical might.
