- Why does German just get suspended three days from school for trying to rape Perla? The fact that he attempted to rape her proves that he could be a danger to other female students. Why wasn't he expelled instead?
- If Elmer is a deranged madman, why did Anita marry him in the first place? What did she see in him?
- If Elmer mistreated most of the people he came across every day, from his neighbours and family to his passengers, how is it possible that no one asked for a restraining order against him since he moved into the 15 Street or he got a job as bus driver? They could have pressed charges against him for domestic (and possibly sexual) abuse, vandalism, assault, disturbing the peace or whatever.
- All the neighbours are arrested once it's discovered that they murdered Elmer because Dona Candy tells the police the truth after growing fond of Dona Greta, Elmer's mother. Why didn't they think of creating an alibi in case they were discovered or telling the authorities that they intended to bring Elmer to the police but killed him out of self-defense. After all, Elmer did threaten to kill them.
- Child Prodigy: Justin is a 12-year-old who's skipped several grades in school and made a few inventions.
- Bare Your Midriff: When she's unmorphed, Ashley sometimes wears tops that show off a lot of her stomach.
- Made of Iron: Downplayed, but when Ashley is knocked down, she often keeps fighting and is quick to launch a kick at her opponent from the ground.

For Fan Disservice Video Games:
- Kuukiyomi 3: Consider It More and More!: Played for Laughs. In a certain situation, the player character has to react if there's a Virtuber Otsuko present adjusting the avatar projection. A technical glitch accidentally reveals her true identity, which is a middle aged man. It's actually a reference to Kizuna AI's accidental identity reveal
.
- Get a Hold of Yourself, Man!:
- In one situation of Kuukiyomi 3: Consider It More and More!! - Father to Son , you (a female character) and your boyfriend get lost in the middle of a snowy field and have to slap your boyfriend many times (but not rapidly) to keep him awake.
- Parodied in another situation from the same installment, the same scenario you have to slap your boyfriend awake, but with Freddie Mercury and a concert stage appearing while the song beat "We Will Rock You" plays.

"No matter how bad the heroes can get or how bad the situation is, we're sure we can overcome it and get our happy endings..."Hi guys. It's me once again. Let's have another try.
For a potential Headscratchers page of La rosa de Guadalupe. Here's one for the episode "Juegos Inofensivos":
- Why is Brenda kidnapped and killed if she was just following Selenita's orders? She delivered the drug where Selina asked her to deliver it.
- Why doesn't the police officer who retrieves Brenda's bike reprimand the boy who tried to steal the bike? Even if he wasn't looking for that bike, the boy should know by then that you can't take a bike from another person. Maybe the bike could have belonged to the officer and the boy was stealing it in front of his face, but he doesn't seem to consider that possibility.
- Why doesn't Abel think that yelling during the early morning while playing his video game is a stupid idea to begin with? He has school the next day and his father hates seeing him playing the game obsessively. Why not better play it in silence to not wake up his father?

Reposting from the previous page
.
Here are some more examples I would appreciate having looked at.
A rewrite to change Dr. Butterfly's Pet the Dog example on Characters.Buso Renkin to Species Loyalty:
- Species Loyalty: Despite not having any familial feeling towards his descendent Papillon, Dr. Butterfly still expresses the desire to protect him from the Alchemist Army as they are both Homunculi. He reconsiders this attitude when Papillon openly rebels and tries to kill him.
An addition to the House Goliath section of Characters.Necromunda:
- Born as an Adult: Originally created to be Slaves who could be immediately put to work, Vatborn Goliath come out of their amneo-vats as full-grown adults, with all the knowledge they require inserted directly into their brain via data-slug.
A rewrite to a Daemons of Khorne example of Characters.Warhammer Age Of Sigmar Grand Alliance Chaos:
- Flaming Sword: Some background material mentions that the murderously sharp and barbed Hellblades wielded by the countless of Bloodletters that make up the majority of Khorne’s Blood Legions burn with the fire of the Blood God’s rage. Other sources, however, state that it is only the more powerful Blades of Blood, wielded by Heralds of Khorne, that are wreathed in fire, with lesser Hellblades merely smouldering with heat.
A rewrite to a Destroyers example on Characters.Warhammer 40000 Necrons:
- Straw Nihilist: Destroyers are Necrons who have turned to nihilism after being driven to despair by their Unwilling Roboticisation and the neurological damage caused by aeons of stasis. These insane Necrons have given up any hope or desire that they may have had in the past and now dedicate their entire being to the eradication of all life, willingly transforming their bodies into weapon systems to fulfil this goal.
- Exit, Pursued by a Bear: Slank is never seen or mentioned after running away from a pack of wolves in the second book's climax (although Captain Nezerra, who fled with him, does reappear).
- Overshadowed by Awesome: Leonard Aster is part of an Ancient Order of Protectors, and shows a lot of bravery and quick thinking against both The Others and Captain Hook. Still, his accomplishments generally pale next to Peter and Molly's Kid Hero accomplishments, especially once Peter gets the power to fly.
- Pet the Dog:
- At the beginning of the second book, Lord Ombra has his henchmen release their hostage (one of Fighting Prawn's daughters) once they've retreated to their boats. This is the only time in the series where a villain actually intends to keep their word to release a hostage once the heroes meet their demands.
- In Sword of Mercy, Cheeky O'Neal yells for his fellow henchmen to join him in sliding on a log to escape a lava flow rather than abandoning them.
- Scary Black Man: African Mook Lieutenant Cheeky O'Neal once ripped a man's hair out by the roots, and threatens to throw his men into a volcano when they take a break from tossing vegetation into it for a smoke signal.

My strategy of just doing individual small posts rather than one big one on the morning or evening appears to be failing. Looking at them Individually they didn't seem like they'd add up to so much, but when I went back to copy and paste all of them together into a word doc, the word count was over a thousand words. I'm sorry about that, and will go back to doing a word count before posting if you say the word.
From page 428 and above @Melinda
...Superman has this to say: <- colon
...whacking out the tail rotor of one of their helicopters with a flick of her wrist.
...when the man tries to hold Lois hostage, she buckles herself into her seat <- no comma while...
Thanks to being two people sharing a body, Firestorm completely derails Faust's plan because he isn't affected by the memory loss spell.
The others make sympathetic noises, <- comma then discuss killing him as soon as he's...
Justin is a 12-year-old who's skipped several grades in school and made a few inventions.
...in sliding on a log to escape a lava flow rather than abandoning them.
...Cheeky O'Neal once ripped a man's hair out by the roots, <- comma and threatens...
^ You need a comma there to make it clear that the hair pulling and threatening situations are different.

Despite being just as bad as <- no comma (if not worse than) <- parentheses as Bakugo, Izuku's family is right about her needing to stay away from him...

In a certain situation, the player character has to react if there's a Virtuber Otsuko present adjusting the avatar projection. <- period A technical glitch accidentally reveals her true identity, which is a middle aged man.
^ I found it difficult to understand what you were trying to say in this post, so my corrections are just a guess. You might try breaking up long, complex sentences like this into smaller, simpler ones.
In one situation, you (a female character) <- parentheses and get lost in the middle of a snowy field <- no comma and have to slap your boyfriend many times (but not rapidly) to keep him awake.
Parodied in another situation, the same scenario where you have to slap your boyfriend awake, but with Freddie Mercury and a concert stage appearing while the song quote -> "We Will We Will Rock You" <- quote plays.

Hi guys. It's me once again. Let's have another try.
For a potential Headscratchers page of La rosa de Guadalupe. Here's one for the episode "Sugar Daddy, el Patrocinador":
- How old is Violeta to begin with? She is seen attending school, but lives alone with her boyfriend David at an apartment, sometimes work to support herself and constantly has sex with different men to serve as her sugar daddies. And there's even no sign of her parents...
- While looking at Edgar's social media profile, Violeta mentions that he isn't ugly before sending him a friend request, intending to have him as her new sugar daddy. But if she is looking for someone to pay for her rent and buy her gifts, then what's the point of checking if they are ugly or not? There may be some ugly-looking wealthy men. Similarly, if she finds Edgar attractive, then why isn't she interested in having sex with him until David suggests her doing that.
- After Edgar and Violeta are discovered by Nora, why is Violeta so sure that Edgar will still be her sugar daddy if Nora just said in front of them that David is her boyfriend? Even if Edgar believed her lie that David was just a friend, Edgar had shown regret for cheating on Esmeralda and was intending to tell her the truth, so it's really doubtful that he would still see Violeta after that and continue to pay her rent and buy her things...

(Remember "She's seen attending school" is word cruft.)
(Also, make sure to keep in mind that there's a difference between "he was intending to do this" and "he intended to do this".)
Hi guys. It's me once again. Let's have another try.
For a potential Headscratchers page of La rosa de Guadalupe. Here's one for the episode "La Primera Puerta":
- Why does Doris' mother say that Doris is little to paint her nails but not to smoke cigars?
And one for "La sirvienta hermosa":
- Why doesn't Ilse try to save her job by lying that she wasn't laughing at seeing Misael recording her at the shower and tell her employer that her son tried to rape her? Misael did try to sexually assault her and that's why he gets scratched in the face.
- Why does Doris' mother say that Doris is too little to paint her nails but not to smoke cigars?
- Why doesn't Ilse try to save her job by claiming that she wasn't laughing at seeing Misael recording her at the shower and telling' her employer that her [WHICH "HER"? ILSE OR HER EMPLOYER?] son tried to rape her? Misael did try to sexually assault her and that's why he got scratched in the face.
This one's also somewhat long even after being shortened by over 400 words, although part of what is left is quotes. The tropes just kept jumping out as I read the book. I'll try not to add much, if anything, besides this today.
- Anti-Villain: Brainiac is fairly eloquent and introspective while arguing that abducting whole cities is necessary to make sure that civilizations will survive in the event of Apocalypse How events like the one on his home planet.
- Bad Boss: Zod randomly selects a completely innocent servant to send to the Phantom Zone as a test.
- Homeworld Evacuation: Jor-El gives No-Ton and the other councilors who believe his warnings about a cataclysm plans for a space ark. Despite their best efforts, building a fleet of evacuation ships from scratch in just three days is impossible, so they focus all of their efforts on finishing just one ship in the last seven hours. They don't finish it in time.
- Loophole Abuse: Jor-El tries to get around a ban on space travel by building a device to explore worlds in other dimensions, accidentally discovering the Phantom Zone.
- Man of the City: Zor-El is the mayor of Argo City and is devoted to bettering it with his inventions and civic plans. After standing against Zod, he works on protecting his city from retaliation with an energy field and is saddened about having to destroy a historic piece of infrastructure in the process. After the war, he declines a seat on Krypton's council (endorsing Jor-El in his place) to focus on repairing Argo City. When Zor-El speaks, all of Argo City listens to him and trusts him. When the destruction of Krypton is imminent, Zor-El spends the last few hours taking in Argo City's beauty while wondering if his energy shield will save them or not.
- Nice Job Breaking It, Hero!: Zor-El proposes that the new Kryptoniain Council make its decisions by a majority vote rather than requiring a unanimous consensus. This progressive and democratic idea lets the six selfish, boneheaded reactionaries on the council completely ignore their five more reasonable colleagues (including Jor-El) due to having a majority vote, leading to Krypton's destruction.
- Oh, Crap!: Lara is hesitant to let Zod see a painting she made of him, feeling that it reflects a sense of troubling inner darkness. Her concern increases when Zod happily declares that the painting captures him perfectly.
- Pregnant Badass: A pregnant Lara doesn't flinch when confronted about her unflattering writings about Zod.
Lara:' Was my grammar incorrect? The spelling? Maybe you didn't like my descriptions. Too many adverbs? Or perhaps I should have taken more creative license in describing Zod. But you did want this to be a history instead of a fantasy, right? Or did I misunderstand you? I particularly like my account of the annihilation of Borga City. Quite vivid prose. I wanted to add interviews with all those dissidents who cheerfully changed their minds and conveniently retired, but I couldn't find any of them. Not a one! Do you suppose something terrible happened to them?' Maybe we should tell the General. He'll get to the bottom of it.Aethyr:' Silence! I won't hear you speak of him that way.Lara: Oh, his actions speak well enough for themselves.
- Reasonable Authority Figure:
- Zor-El is a selfless and innovative mayor, resists Zod's tyranny, and pays attention to his brother's concerns about the safety of Krypton.
- Councilors Cera-Si and Mauro-Ji can be a little reactionary but generally hear Jor-El out and consider his claims whenever he has the data to back them up. Cera is also the only councilor who actually wants at least some change in their stagnant society.
Cera-Si: We cannot ignore a problem simply because there's no immediately obvious solution.- No-Ton is the only member of Zod's inner circle besides Jor-El to realize how unstable he is and defect. His efforts lead to him becoming part of the new council after Zod is defeated. No-Ton objects to efforts to phase out Jor-El, warns Jor-El about Tyr-Us and his cronies trying to destroy the Phantom Zone and endanger Krypton, and then spends the last few chapters of the book desperately working on a Homeworld Evacuation.
- Councilors Gal-Eth and Or-Orm help lead the resistance against Zod, show concern about the path Tyr-Us and his allies are taking, and join No-Ton's Homeworld Evacuation attempts.
- Korth-Or initially doesn't believe Jor-El's warnings that trying to destroy the Phantom Zone will doom Krypton, but opposes doing so until they understand the science more. He is also concerned when Tyr-Us and his majority bloc confirm votes without even asking the other five council members.
- Rescue Romance: Lara meets Jor-El while rescuing him from the Phantom Zone projector he accidentally sealed himself in. A loving relationship quickly develops.
- Revenge Before Reason: The members of the new Krytonian Council who were previously imprisoned in the Phantom Zone by Zod trigger Krypton's destruction by trying to lash out and destroy the Phantom Zone by dropping the projector into Krypton's core.
- Thrown from the Zeppelin: Zod gathers several disgruntled younger sons of Kryptonian noble families to build his dictatorship. Only one protests.
Vor-On: Commissioner, you're talking about overthrowing the established noble families. I wanted to be one of them, not destroy them. You can't expect us to take part in this .. this mutiny.Zod: Very well, Vor-On. I thought I could count on your support, but do what you think is best for Krypton. And I'll do what I think is best.Zod throws Vor-On off a cliff.

Thanks, Michael.
- Freudian Excuse: Nam-Ek's father went crazy and killed the rest of his family when he was a child. Afterward Nam-Ek was raised by Zod, who cares for him, but implicitly exposed the traumatized boy to a lot of scheming and violence during those impressionable years, causing Nam-Ek to see nothing wrong with being Zod's hatchet man.
