josef:
What The Cut
- Take That, Audience!: In the 37th episode, Antoine Daniel says sarcastically that people who joke about delays between What the Cut episodes are funny and original.
The Black Smurfs
- Early-Installment Weirdness: This is the first and only story where we see a Smurf without his hat. In latter stories, it's a joke that Smurfs refuse to show what's under their hats no matter what, and the writers always find a way for the readers not to see a bareheaded Smurf.
The Smurfs And The Sorcerer's Love
- Sudden Downer Ending: After many efforts from Gargamel to be a better person and to get into a relationship with Roxana, it's all rendered useless in the end because Roxana's childhood friend comes out of nowhere and they leave together. And while Gargamel may have been a villain, he did promise the Smurfs that he would stop antagonizing them if he found love, so the Smurfs' efforts to help him were wasted too.
Grow — Trivia
- Official Fan-Submitted Content: The goal of Grow nano vol.4 is to build a ceramic figure that was originally made by a fan in real life.
- Shrug of God: During Puffballs' developer commentary, whenever he was asked about something that was not directly addressed in the game (like the origins of background characters), he would say that he didn't care and that the answer didn't matter if it wasn't mentioned in the game itself.
Animator Vs Animation — YMMV
- Common Knowledge: After The Showdown came out, many fans say that The Second Coming's newly acquired powers are the same as The Chosen One's, even though their only similar power is a differently animated Eye Beam while none of their other powers are shared.
Aine Yukimura
- Grew a Spine: Part of Aine's Character Development is learning to stand up for herself and Sakuya. One of the most prominent examples after Sakuya snaps her out of a serious Heroic BSoD is Aine confronting and telling off her rapist, along with later gaining the desire to be a producer.

Hi guys. Let's have another try, once again.
Another Headscratcher for The Dark Knight Returns:
- In the animated film, why do a couple scream in horror when Batman finally snaps the Joker's neck? Okay, they likely thought Batman had killed the Joker, but rather than acting like "Oh no! Batman killed the Joker! He's a criminal! Let's go call the cops!", they shoudn't not have been like "Yeah, Batman! Kill that psycho once and for all!"?
And a Headscratcher for Peter Pan:
- How does the Messenger Boy know who Wendy Darling is upon going to the bank to deliver the letter to Mr. Darling? She could have been a random girl who was walking home with her brothers and her dog. The film takes place in a time where no cellphones existed, so Miss Fulsom couldn't have shown him a picture of Wendy to warn him about her if she tried to take the letter from him.
Thanks, Arivne.
For Author's Saving Throw Anime And Manga:
- In Pui Pui Molcar, the officials initially announce the Molcar toys that are able to move just by pulling their "food" which is attached to the strings as part of the toys. Many people complain what did they do to Teddy, as they put the trash as its "food", as a reference to Episode 4. Later, they aware about this and decide to give a boost carrot as a switchable "food" for Teddy
- Fate Worse than Death: In Good Behavior, not even Tiny's Cut Your Heart Out With A Spoon threat scares Dortmunder as much as the prospect of spending forty years in a cellblock with Talkative Loon and Dirty Old Man Wilbur Howey.
- Hero of Another Story: In The Road to Ruin, Kelp buys a fake ID that previously belonged to a man named Harbin before he moved onto another alias. Very little is revealed about Harbin, but he is on the run from a European dictatorship and is one of the few people ever to escape their main assassin.
- Accidental Murder: A ranch hand who catches Vincent killing cows falls back into a metal fencepost during the struggle and is impaled, to Vincent's horror.
- Aliens Steal Cattle: Pregnant Gluhenvolk need to eat cow ovaries.
- Greater-Scope Villain: The man who pays Lazue to kill Gluhenvolk for their skins has no presence in the episode beyond a brief phone call.
- Human Resources: Lazue is a hunter who murders woged Wesen, skins them and sells their pelts.
- Not So Extinct: Monroe and Rosalee believe that Gluhenvolk were hunted to extinction before Vincent and Jocelyn appear in Portland, and it's later mentioned that there are other surviving Gluhenvolk in Alaska.
- Glorified Sperm Donor: Once Sally asks Leon to conceive a child with her while believing they're the only people left alive while experiencing her first snowstorm. Leon doesn't exactly try to dissuade her, but to his dismay, Sally quickly realizes that everyone outside the house is alive after all, and he doesn't need to impregnate her.
- Right for the Wrong Reasons: Once, when Leon receives a message claiming that Dick's birthday party has been canceled, he shows up anyway due to feeling that Dick isn't the kind of person to call off a party for himself and just wants an excuse to yell at his students for not coming. Actually, the party was canceled by an alien hunter who wants some privacy to kidnap the Solomons.
- Twofer Token Minority: Caryn is the only African-American and the only girl among Dick's core group of students.
- After the 100-year-old tree Krista was trying to protect is destroyed, Conner helps her plant a new one.
- Values Resonance: This is one of the earliest movies to address the police closing ranks to protect one of their own over the killing of unarmed suspects (although in the movie, part of the issue is that they believe the accusation is untrue).
- Bait-and-Switch: When Weatherby first tries to flirt with Helena, he makes a fool of himself and then finds her gone when he leaves for a moment to get a drink. It looks like Helena is trying to avoid him for a few seconds before she calls him over a different area, having just gotten up from her seat.
- Gone Swimming, Clothes Stolen: Tina tricks Zack into taking off his swimsuit in the hot tub, then walks away with it, leaving him naked.
- Sour Outside, Sad Inside: Kasumi comes across as a major Ice Queen early on, but flashbacks show a more vulnerable and friendly side of her, indicating she's just mourning the loss of her brother.
- The Worf Effect: Hyate is a superior fighter who serves as someone for Donovan to beat up at the end after gaining the other fighters' abilities.

- In Iroha's Valentine Dress substory, Iroha tells Seira how she did something to attract customers to a shop she was working at for Valentines Day. Seira's imagination runs wild with what Iroha would do to get customers with a horrified look to her face. Iroha proceed to reveal that all she did was wear the ribbon dress and handed out fliers to attract customers.

- Aka doesn't catch a break in terms of Dress substories in terms of nightmares,
- in the Gal Army substory, it takes place in the dark reality where there were only few human survivors left, including Aka. Tobio served as the narrator of the story as they were trying to find another town for survivors and supplies and Aka was guiding them only for all of them to be killed one by one until Tobio was the last survivor as he realizes that a Demon killed Aka and impersonated her as his head was lopped off.
- In the Tokyo Miko Miko 2021 Event and Dress Story, Aka suffers not once but twice. She first recalls a dream that she had after getting the Miko Dress where she was getting the same nightmarish visions over and over and ends up being sacrificed by a mysterious priest for a ritual only to wake up. The following day after defeating the demon at the temple and believing, she then has another nightmare where she gives "birth" to a Body Horror twin of herself that actually leaves Aka frozen in terror as it absorbs her as she wakes up unable to grasp if what happened to her was real or not.

Arivne: The trash is tied at the string.
"No matter how bad the heroes can get or how bad the situation is, we're sure we can overcome it and get our happy endings..."

Aliens Steal Cattle: Pregnant Gluhenvolk need to eat cow ovaries.
^ - Zero-Context Example - Are the Gluhenvolk space aliens?
Human Resources: Lazue is a hunter who murders woged Wesen, skins them and sells their pelts.
^ - Zero-Context Example - Are the woged Wesen humans?
^ Humans don't have "pelts" (fur) and the Human Resources page says "Human organs can be harvested to create products for Wesen.", which indicate that they aren't.
Monroe and Rosalee believe that Gluhenvolk were hunted to extinction before Vincent and Jocelyn appear in Portland, but it's later mentioned that there are other surviving Gluhenvolk in Alaska.
While experiencing her first snowstorm and believing they're the only humans left alive, Sally asks Leon to conceive a child with her. Leon...her, but, <- comma to his dismay...
^ Isn't Sally an alien, not a human? So they can't be "the only humans left alive". It should be "the only people left alive" (assuming that you consider an alien to be a person).
...the party was canceled by an alien hunter who wants some privacy to kidnap the Solomons.
^ As a general rule, you don't add apostrophes when you add an "s" (or "es") to pluralize a noun.
...Donovan to beat up at the end after gaining the other fighters' abilities.

Gluhenvolk resemble aliens (and created the myth of them). Wesen are shapeshifting species who are fully sapient and spend a lot of their time as human bodies and Lazue is a wesen himself so I felt Human Resources was a better choice than Evil Poacher. Here's what I've changed for Not So Extinct and Aliens Steal Cattle, and can revise further if I need to.
- Aliens Steal Cattle: Pregnant Gluhenvolk (whose glowing skin inspired alien mythology) need to eat cow ovaries.
- Not So Extinct: Monroe and Rosalee believe that Gluhenvolk were hunted to extinction before Vincent and Jocelyn appear in Portland and are seen while woged, and it's later mentioned that there are other surviving Gluhenvolk in Alaska.
For the Glorified Sperm Donor example I'm just gonna change it to people instead of humans.

Aine Yukimura
- Insecure Love Interest: Aine sees herself as unworthy of being Sakuya's girlfriend at times due to him being a famous rock star while she is just an ordinary high-school girl.

Thanks
@ Supernatural
- Right after Dean criticizes Sam for a "stupid idea" about their upcoming hunt, Sam notices Dean looking at Jo's butt and says, "talk about stupid ideas." Dean acknowledges the truth of Sam's statement, but still goes up to Jo to make a Must Not Die a Virgin appeal to her.
Jo: Sweetheart, if this is our last night on Earth, then I'm going to spend it with a little thing I call self-respect.
Dean: If you're into that kinda thing.
- Crowley buys the soul of a Morally Bankrupt Banker, who is deeply upset to find out Crowley is the one he has to kiss to seal the deal rather than the attractive female demon he'd been negotiating with.
@ Dortmunder- But for Me, It Was Tuesday: In "The Road to Ruin," Mark and Os's partners don't see why one of them can't impersonate a horse trainer to infiltrate Hall's estate without being recognized, doubting that they'd stand out in Hall's memory from his countless other investors. Mark and Os reply that they would stand out though, as, during their last meeting, Os threw a golf trophy at Hall's head while Mark "wrestled Os to the ground, then wasted two or three minutes apologizing to the bastard." During the kidnapping, Hall does recognize Mark's voice (to the group's terror) but all Hall can remember is that it involved:
''Some unpleasant association in the past, but that didn't help much; most of his conversations in the last few years had involved unpleasant associations.
- Shout-Out: In The Road to Ruin, Kelp tells the man the gang is planning to rob that he shouldn't hire a PR man because "That starts with 'P,' and it rhymes with 'T', and that means trouble." This is a twist on a line from The Music Man where the slick-talking Anti-Hero says "Trouble with a capital 'T,' and that rhymes with 'P' and that stands for pool!"
@ Teen Wolf- Never Live It Down: For the rest of its run and beyond, the show has struggled to overcome the fanbase's unhappiness with the decision to kill off Allison when her actress quit.
@ Rio Lobo- Noble Confederate Soldier: The Confederate soldiers are portrayed as brave, audacious, fine with taking orders from a half-Mexican officer, and willing to make peace with their former enemies after the war.
@ 3rd Rock from the Sun- Last-Name Basis: Pittman goes by his last name rather than Aubrey.
