For Super Mario Bros:
- Developer's Foresight: The Mushroom powerup SFX is actually a speed-up version of ”Stage Clear” jingle

"No matter how bad the heroes can get or how bad the situation is, we're sure we can overcome it and get our happy endings..."I don't know of a specific trope that would fit, but you could always put it on Trivia.Super Mario Bros 1 as a "generic" trivia item.
Also, looking at it again, it should be "the stage clear jingle."

~High Crate Thank you. I'll try harder...
"No matter how bad the heroes can get or how bad the situation is, we're sure we can overcome it and get our happy endings..."need adjustments to this one on Superstar Saga,
- Stock Sound Effect: The roars that some bosses emits are a clipped version of Bowser's more animalistic roars in his appearances such as Mario Kart 64, Luigi's Mansion and Super Smash Bros. Melee (Though he has his more cartoonier vocals in this game) Though Cackletta in her Bowletta form used this roar could be a nod to that.

I hope I can add and edit these tropes in order to be unsuspended by admins... For Pump It Up in Trivia section:
- Uncredited Role: All of PIU original BGAs don’t have any visualizers credited until “NX Absolute”. Despite this, the visualizer for Hyacinth
from “Prime” remains uncredited.
Pump It Up Video Game section:
- Design Student's Orgasm: Post-Fiesta versions tend to have these characterless BGAs, especially when they're made by YSJ.
Edits for Pump It Up:
- The Cameo: Miku Hatsune at the end of Sugar Conspiracy Theory.
- Several characters from PIU original MVs reappeared in another MVs, such as the priest boy from Silhouette Effect in Heart Rabbit Coaster, etc.
- Continuity Cameo: The red-haired Robot Girl from Point Zero One in Last Rebirth.
Remove Internal Homage trope in Pump It Up.

- "Blind Idiot" Translation: Puberty
by BeautifulDay is actually mistranslated from "난나야".note
- Chuck Cunningham Syndrome: O2MO
the Robot Buddy mascot from “PC”, is no longer appeared in latter games. However, it reappears only in maintenance notices in the O2Jam official Facebook page

- Idiosyncratic Difficulty Levels: From the easiest to the hardest: HX, NX, EX, and SHD.
- Nintendo Hard:
- Fantazindy

Design Student's Orgasm: Post-Fiesta versions tend to have these characterless BGAs, especially when they're made by YSJ.
^ What are BGAs? Who or what is YSJ?
By the way, you don't need to tell me what they are: you need to include the information in your examples. That's true for any other questions I ask as well.
Every example should be able to stand by itself and be understandable to any reasonably intelligent and knowledgeable reader.
How does this example fit the trope Design Student's Orgasm? It doesn't say how they are "Artsy and confusing visuals" or anything from that trope's Description.
As written, this is a Zero-Context Example. Please read that page and How to Write an Example - ...But Not Too Brief, which explain why this is so important.
- The Cameo: Miku Hatsune at the end of Sugar Conspiracy Theory.
- Several characters from PIU's original MVs reappeared in another MVs, such as the priest boy from Silhouette Effect in Heart Rabbit Coaster, etc.
^ Who is Miku Hatsune and what work are they from? What do any of these characters do in the works they appear in? What are MVs? Music videos? This is another Zero-Context Example.
Also, it violates Example Indentation in Trope Lists. You can't have a single example at the 2nd level of indentation or below. The above should be:
- The Cameo
- Miku Hatsune at the end of Sugar Conspiracy Theory.
- Several characters from PIU's original MVs reappeared in another MVs, such as the priest boy from Silhouette Effect in Heart Rabbit Coaster, etc.
Continuity Cameo: The red-haired Robot Girl from Point Zero One in Last Rebirth.
^ This is another Zero-Context Example, for the same reason given above. Please read some examples on the The Cameo and Continuity Cameo pages to learn what kind of information you need to add.
- Affectionate Parody: This composer
seems to have played too much Street Fighter.
- Backstory: The backstories of “PC” can be found here
.
^ Both of these are a special type of Zero-Context Example called Weblinks Are Not Examples. Please don't just give a link and expect anyone reading the example to leave TV Tropes and check it out. Always make sure there's enough information in the example itself to make it clear that it fits the trope.

About Miku Hatsune cameo in Sugar Conspiracy Theory, Miku Hatsune is one of characters (voicebanks) in Vocaloid, a singing voice synthesizer software. Here’s the evidence

), the story takes place in Muracle, a fictional undiscovered star system which consists of 10 planets located far far away from Earth. Mysterious creatures called Ohms
were recently discovered by dragons from the planet Draconic. The Ohms are so harmless and adorable, even some Muracle civilians take care of them. However, it’s discovered later by the scientists of planet Eliten that Ohms were sent from Muracle’s rival star system Geracle. The Ohms create a low-frequency purring noises, leading Muracle to be destabilized and the civilians to be weakened. The only planet that isn’t affected by the Ohms’ frequencies is planet O2, because of the oxygen which was created by O2 civilians in their music seasons. Oxygen gas is the Ohms’ only weakness. The mission is to take part as an O2 civilian in eliminating Ohms by playing music as much as they can.

"No matter how bad the heroes can get or how bad the situation is, we're sure we can overcome it and get our happy endings..."for Sukiyaki
Because of Oden's problematic behaviour when he was young, Sukiyaki had to be very strict to him, to the point he sent Oden to Yasu'ie so he could learn to behave better. After Oden returns two years later, during which he turned the bandit-land of Kuri into a paradise, however, Sukiyaki becomes very proud of his son and nominates him as daimyo of Kuri.
Years later, Sukiyaki's health suddenly declines and, since Oden is out of Wano when he dies, Orochi becomes the temporary shogun until Oden's return
- The Good King: While he's rarely shown performing any action as a shogun, after his death the inhabitants of Wano mourn him, meaning he has been a good ruler.
- So Proud of You: Sukiyaki banishes his son, Oden, from the Flower Capital for all the troubles he caused but, once Oden comes back two years later as a mature person, Sukiyaki proudly makes him the daimyo of Kuri.
for Oden
- Never Got to Say Goodbye: When he leaves for a journey outside of Wano, Oden's father is already sick and, after he comes back a few years later, Oden learns his father died when he was away and is embittered that he couldn't be with him during his final moments.
- Prepare to Die: After learning what Orochi did to the Land of Wano, its inhabitants and, most importantly, to Toki, Oden dashes toward Orochi's palace, defeating any guard that tries to stop him. Once he reaches Orochi, Oden tells him that his death will come before anything else. However, Orochi is saved by Semimaru and Oden accepts a deal to avoid involving innocent people, with the promise that Orochi and Kaido will leave in five years.
- Rebel Prince: Downplayed. Oden is the son of the shogun and is destined to become Wano's ruler, but he has no interest in it and actively dislikes being in any commanding position, whether it's being the shogun or the commander of a fleet. However, he's willing to become the next shogun rather than let Orochi continue his tyrannical rule and turn Wano into a living hell for its inhabitants.
- Sorry That I'm Dying: After holding his subordinates for an hour with his body half-submerged in boiling oil, Oden has no strength left and expresses regrets for not being able to see Wano opening up to the world as he wishes and hands his will to his followers.
- This Is Unforgivable!: Upon returning from his journey, Oden learns Orochi has usurped the title of shogun and has turned Wano into a desolate wasteland, but what sends him into a Roaring Rampage of Revenge to kill Orochi is learning that Toki has been hurt by Orochi's guards.
for Kawamatsu
- Cruel and Unusual Death: Defied. When Kawamatsu was taken prisoner, the guards were ordered to feed him poisoned fish to give him an unpleasant death but he persisted for thirteen years (spitting the fish bones back to the prisoners) until he's freed during the chaos caused by Luffy.
[Kawamatsu is already a prisoner when he debuts in the story, this is why the first sentence is in the past tense]
for the Udon Guards
- Bond Villain Stupidity: After they imprisoned Kawamatsu, instead of quickly killing him, they were ordered to give him a slow and cruel death by feeding him poisoned fish. However, Kawamatsu resisted for thirteen years (spitting the fish bones as weapons against the guards) until he's freed.
for One Piece
- At the beginning, Duval has a past tied (apparently) with the Straw Hats and keeps his face hidden in an helmet, exactly like Jagi, with whom he shares a very similar clothing design, does to hide his deformed face. There's another Jagi expy in Daifugo among the Animal Kingdom pirates who wears a similar helmet and leather jacket and fights dirty using two guns exactly like Jagi does in his fight against Kenshiro.
- After years of pollution, the Kuri region has been turned into a wasteland run by the Animal Kingdom pirates, who are dressed in leather and bring destruction everywhere. This condition is very similar to the post-apocalyptic world of Fist of the North Star.

Corrections for Victim of the Week page: Dead Victims Section, Video Games:
- The Ace Attorney series. In all of 'em, somebody's gotta get whacked for there to be an intriguing murder case.
- Double Subverted in 3-2, where the case in question is actually a theft. Then a murder actually does occur in the discovery.
- Similarly, Investigations has a case involving a kidnapping. Not only does a murder occur, but the kidnap is revealed to have been staged.
The Addition for Princess Maker:
- Take the Third Option: Zigzagged in the fifth game. The "nitpick" choice is effective against mischievious fairies' trick questions to avoid gaining stress when the daughter encounters them in adventure mode, only if she equips her paper fan or an Osaka fan.
- Sequel Gap: The first four games were released in less than 5 years. However, Unō no Tatsujin: Hirameki Kosodate My Angel was released 7 years after the fourth game.
For Pump It Up:
- Lazy Artist: The franchise has unfortunate amount of these. But some of them tend to have great efforts for character graphics. Sweetronic
, Poseidon
, and District 1
are best examples.note
Pump It Up YMMV section:
- Just Here for Godzilla: Some people who aren’t hardcore players play this game, just for some K-Pop songs and few rearranged Classic songs like Beethoven Virus (based on Ludwig van Beethoven's Piano Sonata No. 8 in C minor, Op. 13 3rd Movement “Pathétique”) and Sorceress Elise (based on Bagatelle No. 25 in A minor “Für Elise” by the same composer) again, again, and again.

^ The franchise has an unfortunate number of what? Best examples of what? This is another Zero-Context Example, because it doesn't say how the trope(s) on Lazy Artist appear in the work. It's also a Weblinks Are Not Examples because the information is hidden behind links, which requires the reader to leave TV Tropes.
What you need to say is how the artists are lazy. For example, which tropes on Lazy Artist do they use? You can't just assume that the person reading the example will be a fan of the work and not need to have it explained for them, or be willing to click on the links to find out.
Before you post any more examples, could you please carefully read Zero-Context Example and Weblinks Are Not Examples?
If you're not sure why I said some of your earlier examples violated Example Indentation in Trope Lists, you should read that too.
I need to tell you something: the moderators consider following these rules to be of overwhelming importance. If you keep on violating them, they will not release your suspension even if your English is perfect.

"No matter how bad the heroes can get or how bad the situation is, we're sure we can overcome it and get our happy endings..."Ok, let me fix it... Pump It Up:
- Limited Animation:
- Zig-Zagged in District 1. Despite some neat characterless 3D animations, some still two-dimensional character graphics of anime girls are just randomly pasted on 3D graphic animations.
- Played straight in Sweetronic. It has some repetitive still image characters. At least this background animation still has the narration (but not very deep) about the battle between Candy Girl and Princess Chocolate. But the reason why they battle is unknown.
- Poseidon, has a Boss Battle themed background animation which only uses one or two character graphic(s) with The Ken Burns Effect. However, it’s downplayed thanks to a program which animates a single two-dimensional artwork graphic also known as Live2D and Red-Fox, who helped Linus (the illustrator for this animation) in animating the character he drew.
For O2Jam
- Word Purée Title: Subverted. The English title for “ 마니또” (a.k.a. “언제나 그대의 천사”)note is “Manitto”, which is completely untranslatable in some machine translators. “Manitto” actually means “Secret Santa” in Korean, a tradition where co-workers or schoolmates randomly pick names and secretly give them gifts (often they try to guess who).
For EZ2DJ
- Mood Dissonance: In the background animation of Common Story
in EZ2ON, people are having an club dance party underwater (by using Artificial Gill gears) ...right after their airplane crashes into the sea. Some dead bodies of unlucky passengers floating on the sea is shown at the end, making it more dissonant.

"No matter how bad the heroes can get or how bad the situation is, we're sure we can overcome it and get our happy endings..."for Don Krieg
- Expy: Don Krieg's hairstyle and the armor he wears make him very similar to Raoh, especially in his first outfit, with whom he shares a very authoritarian and Social Darwinist mindset as well. Unlike Raoh, however, Don Krieg lacks any redeemable traits and is far from one of the strongest fighters of his own verse.
- Meaningful Name: Krieg means "war" in German, which fits with Don Krieg's militaristic theme and appearance.
