  • They Wasted a Perfectly Good Character: Some felt that Ali al-Saachez could have been a better main antagonist of the entire series, given the fact that he remorselessly killed dozens of characters such as Neil Dylandy, Michael and Johan Trinity, and Kinue Crossroad. Rather than ultimately serving as the Innovators willing pawn, he could have turned against Ribbons and the rest of the Innovators to continue his rampage against Celestial Being (and to an extent, the Earth Sphere Federation, the Union, Human Reform League, and A-LAWS) just to finish what he started, rather than ultimately serving as the Innovators willing pawn.

  • Memetic Bystander: When it comes to mentioning male characters in the franchise, Honoka's father gets the most mention, due to his occasional screentime in the first 2 seasons of the anime and the movie.
    • This example (and the other two already on the page) don't have sufficient context.

  • Memetic Badass: Umi's rather frightening smile (sometimes followed by a frown) in both the second season's fourth and seventh episodes are seen as a lethally threatening expression of her anger.

  • "Funny Aneurysm" Moment: At the end of Sonic Breakout (the show's 6th Episode), Sketch Lampoon (the cartoonist for Crack Ups) declares that he'll make a sequel for the Robotnik-themed Humpty Dumpty comic after being saved by Sonic while planning to worsen Robotnik's design as an act of his retaliation. Fast forward 26 years later: Sketch Lampoon's declaration came to a horrible light as the 2020 film (at least for the teaser trailer and poster) had Sonic's (former) design in the movie looking uncanny.

You had: Take That, Scrappy!: Ashley's deaths can lead to a game over. But given her reputation as a Damsel Scrappy, some of them view her deaths as oddly satisfying.

I changed it to: Take That, Scrappy!: Ashley's deaths can lead to a Game Over. But to the players who regard her as a Damsel Scrappy, her deaths can be oddly satisfying.

This isn't strictly speaking a problem with the English, but I would re-write it as:

In Hello Kitty Stump Village, the narrator, Hello Kitty and her friends communicate by making noises such as gasping, laughing, or crying.

^ The reason is that since everyone mentioned in the sentence speaks this way, I can't see any reason for splitting the narrator off from the rest of the characters.

[up][up] @Kazuya Prota

The Crown Prince of the Kingdom of Exclude is responsible for the witch hunts that killed a million of persons in the last few decades. Encouraging said brutality to empower the Relicsartifacts holding the revengeful souls of saintswith the lives of "heretics", the Prince authorizes all sorts of tortures, rapes and mass executions. Betraying his allies after they stop being useful for him, the Prince attacks Sir Willheim and the Hammer of Justice, killing most of the group and using the Relics to bind their strongest members to his will. When his soldiers capture Nina, a girl in love with Mistletien, the Prince orders her to be tortured and puts her feet inside burning iron boots. Once Nina mutilates her own tongue to avoid betraying Mist, the Prince orders her to be publicly executed. <- period When Mist and his friends appear to save Nina, the Prince forces the Hammer of Justice to fight to the death against their friends. Offering knighthood to Mist, the Prince confesses that empowering the Relics was the means to accomplish his real goal of having a powerful army to start expansionist wars because "Being King can get pretty boring".

^ The sentence that starts "Once Nina mutilates" was a run-on sentence connected together with a comma splice. I broke it up into two sentences.

Father Archibald Phillips is the leader of the Flock, a religious organization. Intending to spread up God's Will, Phillips uses the Demon Summoning Program to cause a controlled Demon outbreak in the city of Kazamino to made the Flock look like heroes to the rest of the world. Once the outbreak goes out of control, Phillips sends the Flock to capture all Demon Tamers, intending to keep his facade while preaching God's will to the scared refugees. Wanting to control the situation, Phillips decides to destroy the entire city. <<<< Extremely long sentence extracted. >>>> A self righteous man without empathy even towards his own granddaughter and followers, Archibald Phillips causes the deaths of hundreds of thousands for the sake of his megalomania.

^ The following is an incredibly long and confusing sentence that needs to be broken up into readable pieces.

Asking forgiveness to God for his own incompetence while blaming everything on the protagonists and his own followers, he's given a last chance to fight the protagonists, Tamers who just want to save their city. <- period He ends up killing his own followers as collateral damage while ranting about how he's God's Chosen One, intending to rule the entire world with fear. <- period before Metatron seemingly consumes his body to summon himself until Archibald's soul takes over his body, now seeing himself as the future God.

Arivne: You misunderstand things in this post. The point is that the narrator is the only one who doesn't speak in grunts and uses actual words instead.

Here's my version: "In Hello Kitty Stump Village, Hello Kitty and her friends communicate by making noises such as gasping, laughing, or crying. The narrator is the only one who talks with words."

I already added it; I hope that was okay.

Figure Gunpla Fan: In this post you use "tainted by the preview," but what you're discussing is not, strictly speaking, a preview, so it's a case of Square Peg Round Trope.

Oh, and in case I didn't make it clear: I added the RE 4 example about Ashley to the page.

You had: "Alternative Character Interpretation: In the second season's third Episode, Kanan accidentally broke off the lever as she intended to speed up the transport vehicle. Is she really that strong (given that she does exercises), or the lever is rusted to the point of potential breakage?"

I changed it to this version, and added it to the page:

"In the second season's third episode, Kanan accidentally breaks off the lever as she intended to speed up the transport vehicle. Has her exercising really made her that strong, or was the lever just rusted to the point where a teenager could break it bare-handed?"
