This thread is for tropers who have trouble with English and would like some help with the crazy grammar of this crazy language.
Write down what you wish to edit on the wiki. If you have been suspended from editing, another troper might be kind enough to edit for you after your suggestions have been corrected.
The thread is for help and feedback on your own suggested edits.
If you want help correcting other people's edits (e.g., if you find a page which seems to have grammar problems but want a second opinion, or you don't feel able to fix it by yourself) then that's off-topic here, but we have a separate Grammar Police cleanup thread that can provide assistance.

- Fandom Rivalry: Some of the Monsterverse fans also developed a rivalry with the Marvel Cinematic Universe's fandom; the former also accused the franchise's popularity for turning King of the Monsters into a box office disappointment.

"Some felt that Ali al-Saachez could have been a better main antagonist of the series (see Complete Monster above) if the story wasn't hindered by the reveal of the Innovators or the ELSes in the later seasons."

...is this good enough?
Memetic Badass: Akkun's actions of frequently taking down Yoshiko give other characters like Touma (who is willing to punch (black-hearted) women) and Kazuma (who is rude to his harem) a run for their money.

Okay then.
- Some of her actions (like picking up a random call from a phone booth, ignoring the wanted poster of the Third Years, and her politely bowing to Mrs. Ohara) may have raised some eyebrows.
- However, as she began to support Aqours after visiting Italy, this might have indicated that she is either kicked out by Mrs. Ohara offscreen or finally forgets her duty as a spy in the progress.

- Fanon Discontinuity: In a very minor extent; some fans refused to acknowledge the School Idol Movie as canon after they found out that µ's disbanded after the Bokutachi wa Hitotsu no Hikari segment in the last scene.
I'm still a beginner at editing.
I need to learn the ropes behind it.
Alright, 3 questions.
1. So I was told to write some examples of tropes and post them here? 2. If I prove I've got the hang of it, my editing will be restored? 3. Tropes for something that has a trope page or just make something up and use that as an example?
I instructed you that examples should not refer to other examples (i.e. "also", "too") in the write-up. In addition, works such as films should be italicized.
The write-up is uncomfortably close to misogyny by professing a character as badass by comparing them favorably to other characters who hit women, and I am unwilling to add it.
this post needs the appropriate WMG page linked.
this post: Please use the proper historical present tense.

Same issue. I'm going to ask you to rewrite this in the proper tense, as I have told you this multiple times and it doesn't seem to be taking.

1. "EAT PIE, SAY EAT PIE"[[labelnote:explanation]] A mondegreen of "Ippai seiippai" (translated as "one's best effort"), as heard in one of the lyrics for the Mitaiken HORIZON single song.
2. Add this to the Love Live's WMG page, between that Generic Person and Jojo WMGs.
3. "In a very minor extent; Some fans refused to acknowledge The School Idol Movie as part of the canon timeline after they found out that µ's disbanded after the Bokutachi wa Hitotsu no Hikari segment in the last scene."

[[folder: Love Live! School idol festival (First Game, All Stars)]]
- The entirety of the School Idol Festival ALL STARS game became a punching bag for fans when it comes to delays, mostly due to the game's lack of proper full release date during an interview in the special panel for Tokyo Game Show 2018.note The creation of the game's official Twitter page in August 2019 made the fans (ironically) doubt on whether the official staff is going to troll the fans by revealing that the game's being delayed even further or its possible cancelation.

^ Always put the names of long works (like an animated series) in italics as per How to Write an Example - Emphasis For Work Names.

^ I assume that you meant that the nurse drew Rudolph's blood from his nose.

Replace the Snark Bait example on the Love Live! School idol festival ALL STARS's YMMV page to the LL's Meme page's "Love Live! School idol festival (First Game, All Stars)" folder first, with some updates on the example:
- Due to being delayed for many months, the fans treated the School Idol Festival ALL STARS game as completely on hold for eternity or even better: canceled.note
And then copy and replace this to that page's Snark Bait example.
