~FigureGunplaFan, this post and this one:
I disagree on creating MemeticBadass.Love Live. While we don't have a hard number to qualify for a subpage, on general rule of thumb is if you have to scroll down to see all the examples.
- The Love Live! franchise
- Yoshino Nanjo's young-looking appearance in her 30's makes her
isoften seen as an "immortal vampire"by many. -
Several of the fans have a tendency to portray every µ's member as absurdly powerful characters, ''as in the likes of other Shounen mangas. -
And then there'sChika, mostly thanks to how she was portrayed in the April Fools' puppet show, where she got to subject Kanan (the physically strongest member of Aqours) to a No-Holds-Barred Beatdown, fought a gigantic coelacanth on her own before kissing it and it transformed into Ruby, and remorselessly headbutting Ruby afterwards before convincing her to join her school idol group. -
Pretty muchThe entire concept of "School Idols" in the show, where people see them as powerful deities when they randomly singby singing a song randomly at some point,.which also gathers many crowds byTheir Japanese-language songs gather many crowds, whether they're Japanese or foreign (like Americans or Italians). Likewise, one song from those idols would convince even an objective parent to change their minds. - Due to Eli's
(and sometimes Arisa's)quarter Russian blood, expect most of the fans to juxtapose her with everything Russian related, like portraying her as a powerful and commanding leader/dictator. Likewise, the "Rush B" Joke is also used as her strategy. - In
astark contrast to every other male background characters in the series, Honoka's dad is often joked as the strongest sole surviving male character in the Love Live! universe. The rest of the on-screen male characters (Cotaro, and the other fathers in Sunshine!!), on the other hand, are an entirely different matter. - Due to her Big Eater status, Hanamaru is often portrayed as such, as many fans see her possessing an extremely high metabolism or a black hole in her mouth or stomach.
- In a rather degrading example: Chika is often seen as a dominator of all centers for every song released.
- Aqours is seen as a walking force of nature that gives Honoka a run for her money, as fans believe that Aqours causes disasters before (or after) arriving at their destinations for live events.
- Yoshino Nanjo's young-looking appearance in her 30's makes her
I struck the second example because it seems more of a general example, especially when there is a named character (Chika) getting significantly more detail. This is why she has been moved to her own indentation/example. If there are other µ members who get this treatment, it needs to be explained.
The "School Idols" example sounds like it's In-Universe. Is that the case?

- Awesomeness Withdrawal states outright that examples should go to Gushing About Shows You Like. And, again, something can't be subverted if it's an Audience Reaction. This is at least the third time I've told you this. Please take it to heart.
- Germans Love David Hasselhoff: In terms of fanart and memes, the crossover between the franchise and Jojos Bizarre Adventure is well-liked outside Japan, especially given the absurdity of putting ultra masculine Jojo characters next to Love Live's cute and all-female idols. Many examples can be found on a dedicated subreddit r/Otonokizaka.
~FigureGunplaFan, this request should be made in the locked pages thread, since you are not asking for any grammatical review.
- Genre Turning Point: Kurata's death by vehicle crash inspired a recurring plot device (notably with an Isuzu truck) for reincarnation-themed Isekai light novels.
- Introducing a plot device does not significantly change the genre as a whole.
- However, this has no grammatical issues.
- Seinfeld Is Unfunny: While many
of thelight novel readers find the "death by truck crash" prologueasancommonlyinteresting start for most isekai novels, but givenonhow notoriously common the idea has become, someothers mayfind this example to beone asextremely overused & annoying.
Sometimes a licensing is better than writing an original piece of work. And if you have good tastes in music you may know some perfect obscure song for the work it can experience that song to a new group of people. But be careful as the song may be too obscure, as people may mistake it as an original song.
Accidental Theme Song is when an obscure song becomes popularized by a piece of media that it becomes heavily associated with it. Many will not know it was an original song before it, and in fact, many will think it was written for that piece of media or will become so ingrained with the image of the media that when people hear that song, they think of that piece of media. Accidental Theme Song doesn’t have to be a theme song, it can just be a song that is popularized by that piece of media.
It is related to the Forgotten Trope. It is very similar to the “The Weird al effect” as it’s referencing a piece of media that people don’t realize is referencing. This is usually a result of “Older then they think,” but not always but isn’t still, differs from “Pop culture osmosis” where the song becomes so iconic and used that people forget the song.
EX.
Anime and manga
Most Japanese and anime fans would think the song” Green Green” was written for the series nichijou, when in actuality it’s an American folk song from the 60s by The New Christy Minstrels
Movies-live action
The Dick Dale rock n roll instrumental “Misirlou” has become the theme to Pulp Fiction, in fact, it is often called the Pulp Fiction Theme. Most people don’t realize it was written in the 1960s let alone know it’s based on ancient Egyptian song.
Both the “Sound of Silence” and “Mrs. Robison” falls into this trope. Many including film enthusiast think they the song was written for the classic American film The Graduate when in actuality they weren’t, It was on the top billboard charts for weeks before they added the editors, added it to the movie. Many probably think this becuse the practice of adding songs from the radio in movies was rare at the time.
The song “Sing In The Rain” was a song used in many MGM musicals before it was used in Singing in the rain, but everyone thinks of Gene Kelly dancing in the rain when they hear it rather than the other times it was used.
“Smile Darn ya smile” is a novelty song from 1931, not written for “Who Framed Roger rabbit” but if you sang it.
Western animation- film
The most infamous case is “All-Star” with Shrek. Many people to this day think it as the Shrek song, despite the music video including clips from Mystery Men and being used in the Digimon movie a year before. Which is ironic considering All-star was never ment to be in the film, to begin with!
Western animation -television
The Finnish folk song” Matalii Ja Mustii” is known as The Binky Song, to anyone not finish, because of its uses in Arthur. In the episodes Binky rules and Meet Binky, the obscure Finnish folk song is used as the new hit pop song from the new hit band Binky. Why the Staff of Arthur choice this song of all songs to be the in-universe hit single, is still unknown.
The theme to Looney tunes “The Merry-Go-Round Broke Down” was an original with actual lyrics; the almost no one knows that
Real Life- Often called “Here Comes The Bride,” the song Bridal Chorus is the traditional song played at weddings when the bride is walking down the aisle. One would think, this song was written for this even when, it was actually written for an obscure 1850’s opera called Lohengrin. It became stable after Queen Victoria’s daughters played it at her wedding. The irony is the song is actually is a song of tragedy, as in the opera, this is song right before the bride commits suicide.

Just remove that Third Wheel example from the Broken Base and put it into Alternate Character Interpretation.
- Is Dia genuinely the Third Wheel in her group? Many fans note that she never seems to cause this kind of awkwardness, as she communicates with Kanan and Dia frequently. However, other fans point out that she is sometimes quietly left out and/or ignored by Kanan and Mari.

Grammar correction and slight update request for Love Live's Die For Our Ship page
Original:
- Both NozoEli (Garden of Glass) & UmiEli's (Storm in Lover) fans is one of the major examples for this trope: Even though the first Love Live! Anime series has ended, both sides still argue against each other on which of the two girls (Nozomi and Umi) that Eli should finally end up with. And again: one must realize that Umi is the one who wrote the lyrics for the songs, which means she is unintentionally responsible for the flame war.
- EliUmi fans would add more fuel to the fire by repeatedly mention that the pairing began in the first PV to TV Anime (which showed several signs of the pairing), and one of the scenes in the opening sequence for the Final Live.
- If one reads the School Idol Diary Novels/Manga adaptation, it barely helps that the books still has many NozoEli moments in it.
- NozoEli shippers would later use the official art from the February 2016 issue of the Dengeki G's magazine as their "flag of victory", which most EliUmi fans strongly deny.
- In a minor extent, fans also debate on whether Nico or Tsubasa (thanks to that one brief moment in The School Idol Movie) should be the perfect girlfriend for Maki.

Her birthday is September 8, which is also the birthday of Virgin Mary. Her Hero Costume consists of a plain white robe, which looks similar to the one worn by Jesus Christ. and the names of her attacks are references to christianity crucifixion shield of faith , via dolorosais the latin reference for the path by which jesus walked on his way to crucifixion.
plus there are her lines "Passing Judgement” “scheming sinners more religious allusions
and her referring to gevaudan as the beast of revelation/apocalypse
and jesus was captured and led to his death because of judas ( the traitor) who marked him as jesus by kissing him on the cheek
and if kaminari is the traitor it would be even more fitting given that he flirted with her multiple times
