Thanks and correction

for Magellan:

  • Horned Humanoid: Subverted. He has a pair of long horns that help give him a demonic appearance, but they're actually fake.
  • My Greatest Failure: He's so broken after having failed to prevent the escape that he has to be sedated to prevent him from committing suicide, and doesn't protest when he's demoted from chief warden.
  • Rank Up: Inverted. Because he couldn't prevent the mass escape, he goes from chief warden to vice-warden.

And for Domino

One of Impel Down's high officers. She's serious and strict, to the point of scolding Magellan, the chief warden, for spending too much time in the washroom.

She greets Hancock during her visit in the prison (actually a way for Luffy to sneak in) until she's petrified by her devil fruit power. After going back to normal, she doesn't remember being turned into stone and accomanies Boa Hancock to Magellan's office.

During the timeskip she's promoted to head jailer, a post left vacant after Shilew's arrest.

  • Absolute Cleavage: After the timeskip she doesn't wear a shirt under her jacket, leaving her ample cleavage exposed.
  • Coat Cape: Wears one to indicate her promotion to head jailer.
  • Commissar Cap: Has one to complete her Nazi-esque uniform.
  • Cool Shades: Wears a pair of red-jaded glasses.
  • Failed a Spot Check: If she had done a decent body search, she would've realized Luffy was hiding in Hancock's coat.
  • Informed Ability: To be a head jailer, she has to be one of the prison staff's strongest members, but she's never seen in action.
  • Meaningful Name: Domino comes from dominus, which refers to a person who has control over others, a fitting name for a high-ranked individual.
  • No Badass to His Valet: It doesn't matter if Magellan is the prison's highest authority and can kill her at any time if he wants to, she still scolds him for wasting too much time in the washroom.
  • Passionate Sports Girl: In a drawing of her when she was a kid, she's playing football.
  • Peek A Bangs: On top of wearing shades, her hair covers her right eye. She has had this haircut since she was a kid.
  • Taken for Granite: Before she can spot Luffy, Boa Hancock turns her into stone with her Mero-Mero Fruit power. She gets back to normal but doesn't remember it.
  • Whip It Good: She's carries a whip, though she's never seen using it.

for Luffy:

  • Punched Across the Room: Given the strenghts of his attacks, this happen quite often to his enemies, especially when he uses the Gom Gom Bazooka and its variations.
    • A notable example is Ceasar who, after getting hit by the Grizzly Magnun he's sent flying through different room until the end of his large lab.
    • And a particularly effective one against Doflamingo, where he sends the Warlord to the other side of Dressrosa after showing off his Gear Fourth for the first time.

for Magellan

  • The Dreaded: He's feared by all the prisoners and for a good reason: who wouldn't be afraid of a towering guy who can easily poison you to death?

for Sadi

  • The Dreaded: Not much by the prisoners but by the Jailer Beasts, her subordinates, each of whom is deadly afraid of making her angry. Given her habit of whipping them, it's pretty reasonable.

for Saldeath

One of the chief guards of Impel Down and the one in command of the Bluegori of level 1. He's a calm and level headed person and is probably the least brutal of all the high ranked officers. He doesn't fight on his own but controls the Bluegori using his flute.

During Luffy's infiltration, he tries to stop him in level 3 but, since the Bluegori are easily defeated by him, he's sent to quell the riot in level 2. After Luffy escapes again, Hannyabal sends him to level 4 but he and his Bluegori are defeated by Ivankov with a single blow.

After the timeskip, he has grown sproportionately taller.

  • Affably Evil: While he's more of an Hero Antagonist, he's the least brutal of all the staff, to the point that he says Luffy and his allies are lucky to being captured by him.
  • I Got Bigger: After the timeskip, he goes from tiny to willoy.
  • Large and in Charge: Inverted. Despite being one of the high ranked officers, he's the shortes person in all the prison. Played straight after his growth spurt.
  • Nice Hat: Wears a white horned hat with a black skull on it.
  • Punny Name: In Japanese, his name sounds like Saru Desu, which means "I am a monkey" and he doesn't like when someone mishears his name, like Luffy.
  • Vague Age: Since he's a high ranked officers, he must be already grown up, yet he becomes much taller after only two years, implying he is/was in his teens.
  • Winged Humanoid: Has a pair of black bat-like wings but they're probably part of his uniform.

for the Jailer Beasts

"A cold, heartless Jailer Beast! A monster who treats humans like so much trash!"

Four (five after the timeskip) strong guards under Sadi's authority. They have all eaten an unknown Zoan Devil Fruit and have awakened their power, giving them a strong healing factor that allows them to recover quickly.

Despite their dumb-looking appearance, they're all brutals guards who would gladly smash any rioting prisoners with their weapon, though they also have a big fear of Sadi.

Due to their great stamina and healing factor, they face Luffy and his allies multiple times (especially Minotaurus), but they always gets defeated and, once Jinbe, Crocodile and Ivankov joins Straw hats, they basically stop being a threat.

After the time-skip, a fifth jailer beast, Minochihuahua, joins them.

  • Animorphism: They're basically confirmed to have eaten an awakened Zoan fruit each. It borders with Informed Ability because they're always seen in their hybrid form, and we learn that they've eaten a devil fruit because it's explained by Crocodile.
  • Bare Your Midriff: A variety. Minotaurus's, Minozebra's and Minokoala's fur only cover part of their abdomen, leaving the middle completely uncovered.
  • Beware the Silly Ones: Dont' be fooled by their goofy appearance, they're actual brutal guards and among the strongest in the prison.
  • Black Bead Eyes: With the exception of Minozebra, they have little black dots as eyes.
  • Blood Knight: Possibly because of their Zoan devil fruits, they are all ruthless and like brutalizing their enemy.
  • The Dreaded: Because of their blood lust, they're the most feared individuals in the prison right behind Magellan.
  • Gonk: They all have silly body proportions, Black Bead Eyes (save for Minozebra) and snot that drops from their nose. It's not an excuse to underestimate them.
  • Half-Dressed Cartoon Animal: Aside from Minorinocheros, who wears overalls, and, later, Minochihuahua, they only wear a pair of shorts.
  • Lightning Bruiser: They're all incredibly fast and strong and, if that isn't enough, they recover quickly and after a short while they can fight again.
  • Submissive Badass: They're incredibly strong and the second most feared individuals by the prisoners, yet they all fear and obey to Sadi-chan.
  • Top-Heavy Guy: Save for Minochihuahua, who's fairly proportioned, the others have a large upper body while short and tiny legs.
  • Wardens Are Evil: They all violent and often torture the prisoners. Of course, said prisoners are mostly people who deserve that.

for Minotaurus

  • Bullying a Dragon: He beats a chained Jinbe without fear. When the latter is freed, he repay the favour.
  • Carry a Big Stick: His weapon is a large club with sharp spikes.

for Minorinocheros

  • Carry a Big Stick: He punishes the prisoners with two spiked maces.
  • Dual Wielding: He fights with two maces.
  • Rhino Rampage: As his name can attest, his devil fruit has given him the ability to become an half-rhino man.

for Minozebra

for Minokoala

  • Amazing Technicolor Wildlife: His fur is yellow and his nose is red.
  • Power Fist: His weapon is a pair of spiked brass knuckles.
  • Stock Animal Diet: Despite not being an actual koala and simply having the power to turn into one, he's likes eucalipto and carries a bag with them around the waist.

for Minochihuahua

  • Angry Guard Dog: If he's as bloodthirsty as the other Jailer Beasts, considering he's a literal guard, he's an almost literal example of the trope.
  • Sixth Ranger: He joins the Jailer Beasts during the timeskip.

for the Bluegori

The Blue Gorillas, nicknamed Bluegori, are animals so strong they hunt sea kings for food. They mainly resides at level 1, where they chases the prisoners, but can move to the other levels as well, though they aren't much of a threat to higher-ranked prisoners. They are under Saldeath's command, who control them using a flute.

  • Amazing Technicolor Wildlife: Guess what their fur color is?
  • The Faceless: Their cloaks cover the upper side of their body. How they can see wearing them it's a mistery.
  • Informed Species: Their faces are hidden by their cloaks and the rest of the body doesn't exactly resemble a gorilla.
  • Killer Gorilla: They're gorillas so strong they hunt Sea Kings and they are vicious prison guards.

I've been thinking that some examples in Evil Is Sexy tropes needs a bit of a rewrite to make it at least a bit presentable for the audience. Right now I think it's at best for me to rewrite the things that I know the most for now. Here's my proposed rewrite from the works that I know for Evil Is Sexy trope. Will also post it on the respective YMMV pages by the by:

  • Akame ga Kill!: Despite the fact that Esdeath is an evil person who has a Social Darwinist philosophy and is very brutal when it comes to fighting her enemies and has no empathy towards those who deems as weak, loves torturing some innocent people and considered it as a hobby and is one of the reasons why the Empire is corrupted because she supports the evil Prime Minsiter which provided her an endless opportuniteis to slaughter any rebels she come across, many fans sees her as the poster girl of this trope. Mainly because fans were attracted by Esdeath’s beauty and design by wearing a fanservice army like costume and how huge her boobs are. Not only that, several factors such as her tenacious demeanor, her great powers, some of the pet the dog moments regardless on how contrived they are and her loyalty towards her subordinates contributes to the attractiveness of the character herself.

  • Berserk: Griffith is a cute and an attractive bishonen who also has a fluffy hair that could be pat almost anytime which enhances his sexiness even further. However, he’s still an evil bastard because he condemns his companions into a horrible event known as the Eclipse, rapes his right-hand woman and making his friend forced to watch the rape scene in order to get the revenge for leaving him alone. He also has no compunctions for the actions that he caused. Despite this, people still see him as attractive nonetheless.

For Berserk, will do some rewrite on Slan too. Until then, thoughts?

I need help formatting and grammar for this new trope. Any criztsim to improve it would be nice

Trope name:The All Star effect

The All Star effect that is a sub trope of older then it really is. It when a semi obscure song soon popularized by a piece of media that people assume that the song was either written for originated from that piece of media.

Coined after the song” All Star” by Smash Mouth when the movie Shrek and popularized the song So much that people to this day think it originated from the movie shrek and has since become the unofficial theme to the movie.

The trope can also be a form of Pop-Cultural Osmosis with many pepole not understanding its origin. …

Examples:

[[folder:flim live action ]]
  • Dick Dale and his del tone’s suffer remix of the Eastern Mediterranean song “Misirlou” is more likely to be known as the Pulp Fiction theme to the general puplic then “Misirlou”.With the Song playing with the opening and setting to the tone of the flim,This cheesy surf song has certainly gained a new meaning with this flim.
  • The song Sing In the Rain you would think was written for the movie with the same title .It infact wasn’t it was written in for The 1929 Revue The Hollywood Music Box Revue, and soon became MGM’s unofficial theme song for about a decade with the song being performed in numerous MGM musicals before Sing In The Rain.

[[folder:flim animntied ]]

  • All Star Is the most the most infamous example and is what the trope is coined after do to the massive success of shrek. All Star was originally written as tribute to Smash Mouths fans and would originally soon be used prommentaly in the movie Mystery Men even leading clips of the movie to be used in the music video .The song was a hit but soon fade out the puplic mind, until a new animained movie called shrek would use it as a placeholder song for the Opening credits ,it would have stated a place holder song until Test Screenings for the flim fell in love with it,thus leading Dreamworks to keep it in. Since then the Song has become so anmanerd in the films history that when pepole think of shrek they will think of all star and vise verses, even some calling it the shrek song.

  • The popular hippie musical Hair by Gerome Ragni and James Rado while mostly using original songs dose use famous Hippie songs of the time. The most famous ones being Aquarius,Hair, and Good Morning Starshine.Despite being popular in the 60s these songs would have probably faded into obscurity if it were not for Hair.So much so that some modern audiences don’t know that those songs were not originally written for Hair.If you were to ask someone what do they think of when you hear these songs they would mostly like say Hair.

  • Mama mia one of the most famous jukebox musical based entirely around ABBA songs, surprisingly falls into this trope believe it or not! The musical is very popular among young girls who have no idea that all the songs come from a popular 70s Swedish band.

[[folder:real life]]

  • Bridal Chorus to many pepole is a traditional song, when actually it is a Oprea song, form a obscure called Lohengrin the song is in context is very somber, wich is ironic considering the occasion it’s usually played for.it wasn’t made a standard until after Princess Victoria wedding wich like most royal weddings start trends in all weddings.

As usual, changes in verb tense from past to present are as per How to Write an Example - Write in Historical Present Tense.

Despite the fact that Esdeath is an evil person who has a Social Darwinist philosophy, <- comma and is very brutal when it comes to fighting her enemies, <- comma and has no empathy towards those she deems as weak, loves torturing some innocent people and considers it to be a hobby. She is one of the reasons why the Empire is so corrupt because she supports the evil Prime Minister, <- comma which provides her an endless opportunities to slaughter any rebels she comes across. Despite this, many fans see her as the poster girl of this trope, mainly because fans are attracted by her beauty and design (wearing a Fanservice army-like costume and how huge her boobs are).

The first sentence was way too long and needed to be broken up into smaller sentences to make it readable. The last sentence was a sentence fragment which should have been part of the previous sentence.

Not only that, several factors, <- comma such as her tenacious demeanor, her great powers, some of her Pet the Dog moments (regardless of how contrived they are) and her loyalty towards her subordinates contribute to the attractiveness of the character herself.
Griffith is a cute and an attractive bishonen who also has fluffy hair that could be pat almost anytime, <- comma which

"could be pat almost anytime" - I have no idea what this is supposed to mean.

and making his friend forced to watch the rape scene in order to get the revenge

  • criztsim -> criticism
  • The All Star effect -> The All Star Effect
The All Star Effect that is a Sub-Trope of Older Than They Think. It is when a semi-obscure song is popularized by a piece of media and people assume that the song was either written for or originated from that piece of media.
Coined after the song "All Star" by Smash Mouth, <- comma which was popularized by the movie Shrek, <- comma so much so that people to this day think it originated from the movie. It has since become the unofficial theme to the movie.

I happen to hang around TLP a lot, so I can tell you that by The All Star Effect suffers from Trope Namer Syndrome. It's impossible for the reader to get any idea of what the trope is about from the name unless they happen to (a) realize that it's about that song from that movie (instead of the regular meaning of the term "all star") and (b) figure out that the trope is about a very specific quality of the song.

Once you change the title, you should also delete the entire section of the Description dealing with the song and the movie.

  • I'm going to be adding namespaces to and italicizing work names in your post.
  • According to How to Write an Example - Emphasis For Work Names, song titles should be inside quotes.
  • Any time you use a comma in a sentence, it should be followed by a space.
  • Whenever you end a sentence with a period, the period goes right after the last word and has a space after it.
  • The words in folder titles are capitalized.

  • [[folder:flim live action ]] -> [[folder:Film - Live Action]]

Dick Dale and his Del-Tone’s surfer remix of the Eastern Mediterranean song “Misirlou” is more likely to be known to the general public as the Pulp Fiction theme than as the original song. <- space With the song playing with the opening and setting to the tone of the film, <- space this cheesy surf song has certainly gained a new meaning with this film.

The last sentence above doesn't make much sense and is pretty much entirely Word Cruft. It should be deleted.

You would think the song "Singing in the Rain" was written for the movie of the same title. It was in fact wasn’t it was written in for the 1929 Revue The Hollywood Music Box Revue, <- space and soon became MGM’s unofficial theme song for about a decade, <- comma with the song being performed in numerous MGM musicals before "Singing in the Rain".

"All Star" is the most the most infamous example and is what the trope is coined after due to the massive success of Shrek. <- space All Star was originally written as a tribute to Smash Mouth's fans and would originally soon be used prominently in the movie Mystery Men, <- comma with clips of the movie being used in the music video. The song was a hit but soon faded out of the public's mind, <- space until a new animated movie called Shrek would use it as a placeholder song for the opening credits. It would have stayed a placeholder song until people participating in test screenings for the film fell in love with it, <- space thus leading Dreamworks to keep it in. Since then, <- comma the song has become so much a part of the film's history that when people think of Shrek they will think of "All Star" and vice versa, <- space with some even calling it the Shrek song.

[[folder:theater -> [[folder:Theater]]

The popular hippie musical Hair by Gerome Ragni and James Rado. While mostly using original songs, it does use famous hippie songs of the time. The most famous ones are "The Age of Aquarius", "Hair", and "Good Morning Starshine". Despite being popular in the 60s, <- comma these songs would have probably faded into obscurity were it not for their being in the musical. So much so that some modern audiences don’t know that those songs were not originally written for Hair. If you were to ask someone what do they think of when they hear these songs, <- comma they would mostly like say Hair.

To many people "Bridal Chorus" is a traditional song, <- space when actually it is a Oprea song from an obscure opera called Lohengrin. <- period The song is in context is very somber, which is ironic considering the occasion it’s usually played for. It wasn’t made a standard until after Princess Victoria's wedding, <- comma which like most royal weddings started trends in all weddings.

Sanrio

  • Alternate Continuity: Cinnamon The Movie has a different origin story for Cinnamoroll compared to the characters official description for how he meet the cafe owner and his friends.

  • Deranged Animation: The 2007 film Cinnamon The Movie, has very strange and surreal animation once Cinnamoroll and his friends get separated from the cafe owner from Cafe Cinnamon into a land themed to candy.

  • Level Ate: Most of the 2007 Cinnamoroll movie takes place in a world themed to candy and sweets that eventually becomes very dangerous for the characters.
  • Living Toys: The Sugarbunnies and Mewkledreamy are living stuffed animals. In the Sugarbunnies anime, they at first had to pose like actual stuffed animals before they reveal that they are living. Some humans get startled at first until they get to know them.

  • Nice Mice: Flat the mouse is one of My Melody's best friends and has a secret crush on her.

YMMV

  • Ship Tease: Some Cinnamoroll merchandise by the company would usually feature him and his friend Mocha together. Some merchandise feature her giving him a kiss or being very caring with each other. It's taken further in the first volume of the Fluffy, Fluffy Cinnamoroll manga series where she is the first customer to notice him and have a friendly conversation with him. While Cinnamon The Movie she is the most excited to meet see him.

  • Moe: Some characters were just made to melt your heart and just asking for a good hug. Especially characters like Mell from Wish Me Mell, My Melody and her friend Piano, and Little Forest Fellow who is extremely shy and fragile.

YMMV The Smurfs

YMMV Older than You Think

  • This isn't the first time we see Pooh and friends in live-action form with a real-world setting. Back in 2011, to promote to release of Winnie The Pooh. Disney made 7 shorts called A Winnie The Pooh Smackerel which features Pooh and friends doing cute and fun things.

You have to write up an edit you'd like to make. A whole page is a big task to take on first thing with established grammar issues; I recommend starting small.

some tropes and description for the level 2 beasts (all in a single folder)

Level 2, known as "Wild Beast Hell", is filled with dangerous monsters that will chase and eat every prisoner they encounter. The monsters in question are:

  • The Sphinx: A large lion-like creature with human face and wings. It's the strongest monster of the level, and is tough enough it destroys the floor under him.
  • The Basilisk: A big chicken with a reptilian face and a costantly hungry expression.
  • The Chimeras: Lions with human faces. Ferocious creatures who devour even the prey's bones. They can even speak human language, but not understand it, therefore, they simply repeat random words they hear from the prisoners.
  • The puzzle scorpions: Giant poisonus scorpion which can combine themselves to become a giant centipede.

  • Basilisk and Cockatrice: The second strongest monster is a large basilisk (that, ironically, looks more like a cockatrice). However, he doesn't have the petrifying gaze.
  • Beware the Silly Ones: No one of them looks remotely scary (save the Basilisk, and even them he looks more crazy than intimidating), yet they are all strong monsters.
  • Big Creepy-Crawlies: The puzzle scorpions, while they don't look scary, they're actually quite big and dangerous, and, if combined, they become an even larger centipede.
  • Conservation of Ninjutsu: There are many chimeras and puzzle scorpions but are all small fries for Luffy, the basilisk and the sphinx, on the other hand, are quite tough opponents, and there is only one of them.
  • Gonk: Each manticore has a different human face, but every single one is... goofy.
  • Mooks: At least for Luffy, the chimeras are easy to deal with. Not so much for Buggy and the level 1 and 2 prisoners.
  • Riddling Sphinx: The boss of level 2 is a sphinx, but it doesn't make any riddle since it can just repeat random words it hears from the prisoners.
  • Scary Scorpions: The puzzle scorpions, of course. Despite their appearance, they're actully deadly poisonus and can combine themselves together to become a giant centipede.
  • Super-Persistent Predator: The basilisk keeps chasing Luffy and Buggy for a long while until he's stopped by Luffy's gear third punch.

A description for Impel Down

Also known as the "Underwater Prison" or the "Great Prison", Impel Down is the World Government's prison for all kinds of criminals and pirates. Imagine a fusion between Alcatraz and the "Inferno" of the divine comedy and you get the idea.

The prison is divided into six levels, the higher the level, the higher the bounties of the prisoners kept inside, and on each level there is a different kind of torture:

Level 1: Crimson Hell: The prisoners are forced to run from the guards and the blue gorillas through a forest made of trees with leaves as sharp as razors, for this reason, the leaves, stained by the prisoners blood, appear red. If one wants to avoid the torture, there's a giant hole that leads to level 2. Buggy used to be in this level, and avoided torture thanks to his devil fruit.

Level 2: Wild Beast Hell: The halls are inhabited by dangerous beasts like chimeras, giant scorpions, a basilysk who chase and devour any prisoner they enconter, while a large sphynx guards the exit. For this reason, the prisoners prefer stay in the jails. Buggy says that all the prisoners from this level have a bounty higher than his (15 million berries).

Level 3: Starvation Hell: This level is hot and a desert-like terrain, while the prisoners are feed with just enough water and food to keep them starving in a near death state. All the criminals with a bounty higher than 50 million berries are kept here. Benthan also used to be there despite having a bounty of 32 million.

Level 4: Blazing Hell: This level is even hotter than level 3 (whose heat in fact come from the level below) due to the presence of a large pool with boiling blood. There the prisoners are constantly working supplying wood logs in the pool or under torture. Daz Bones used to be kept in this level.

Level 5: Freezing Hell: In contrast to the level above, this one is a desolate tundra where prisoners either die because of the freezing (which is so intence the prisoners lose pices out of frostbites) or for starvation (due to the food becoming frozen and inedible). In this level there are also the wolf unit, that has been moved from level 2 to level 5 because the wolves used to hunt down and eat the other beasts! Criminals with a bounty higher than 100 million are kept here, and Magellan sends Luffy here after having captured him.

Level 5.5 : Newkama Land: Not an actual level but a hidden and secret sublevel carved long ago. It's inhabitated by okamas and ruled by "Queen" Ivankov. After the latter escapes with Luffy, Bentham becomes the new "Queen".

Level 6: Eternal Hell: The lowest level, reserved exclusively for criminals so strong and/or dangerous that are basically "erased" from history, to the point that even this level's existance is considered a legend. The prisoners are fed and left alone, letting them die out of boredom, like Shiki who, after a while, was almost Driven to Suicide. Ace used to be here before being moved for his execution. Jinbe, Crocodile and some of the new Blackbeard Pirates used to be here too. After his defeat and capture, Doflamingo is being kept here.

For the Wolf Unit

A pack of vicious wolves that reside in level 5. It used to be in level 2 but, since the wolves are so voracious that they used to prey the other beasts too, it has been moved.

When Bentham tries to save Luffy, he's attacked by a pack of them, but manages to fend them off with all his remaining forces before collapsing to the ground.

  • Ax-Crazy: As if their constant expression isn't enough, these are voracious predators that would hunt anything.
  • Maniac Tongue: Just to show how deranged they are, their tongue is constantly sticking out.
  • Savage Wolves: So savages that not even chimeras are safe from these guys.
  • White Wolves Are Special: Inverted. These wolves are white (probably as adaptation of Level 5's cold climate) and are the most dangerous and vicious beasts of Impel Down.

Also, this trope for Mr. 1

  • Nerves of Steel: Despite all the heavy work and torture he goes through while being a prisoner in Impel Down, he's completely unfazed.

Edit: One for Luffy:

  • Brutal Honesty: There are definetely more touchy ways to inform Tama that Ace is dead rather than bluntly telling her that.
  • What the Hell, Hero?: Tengoyama Hitetsu is pissed at Luffy's blunt way of informing Tama about Ace's death, especially because it sent the kid into an Heroic BSoD. Later even Tama calls him out on this.

for Tama

  • Damsel in Distress: When Luffy meets her, she's captured by some of Kaido's goons.
  • Ms.Exposition: Since she's native to Wano, she tells Luffy some details about the country.
  • Pauper Patches: To show how much poor she is, her kimono is patched.
  • Tagalong Kid: Follows Luffy in his adventure in Wano.

for Tengo

  • Mr. Exposition: He explain to Luffy Tama's history and the country's situation under Kaido.
  • Papa Wolf: Although not her father, he's the one taking care of Tama, and is very protective of her, like when he kicks Luffy for having eaten her rice that she can eat only twice a year.
  • What the Hell, Hero?: Calls out Luffy for telling Tama that Ace dies in the bluntest way possible.

Asspull

The Cell Jrs. are still alive in a Bonus Chapter of the manga version. Apparently they managed to survive thanks to their From a Single Cell ability, just like his father in the original manga (which was already an Asspull by itself), and now work for A-17, who managed to tame them. While this could explain how A-17 became so strong, it does not explain how he managed to did that (and survive) considering that originally the Cell Jrs. were almost as strong as Perfect Cell, while he was weaker than Imperfect Cell. And how did none of the Z-Warriors notice their presence in all these years?

Tio/Tia

For Star Trek Online

  • Retraux: The game itself plays the same, but in the Agents of Yesterday expansion, everything from the environments and ships to the aliens and enemies encountered were lovingly designed with the limitations of the original series sets in mind to help immerse the player in Star Trek's 23rd Century.

Can we add to Allen Walker:

  • Doomed Protagonist: Played for Laughs. In volume 22, Allen reads his fortune and it states his future will be horrible. The upcoming arc kind of proves it right.
  • Unable to Cry: After learning about Timcampy's fate in the "Search for A. W.", Allen cannot drop a tear for one of his first friends which makes him relate to Mana when he told the young Allen that he could no cry for the dead dog named "Allen". Instead, Allen makes a quite smile, apparently searching revenge.
